About: I have many years of dog-sitting experience and am the owner of a cute and extremely energetic English Setter named Zeke. Zeke and I love spending the day going for walks and hikes, playing fetch, going swimming, and lounging around. I have a flexible and open schedule that I would love to fill with even more dogs! I'm more than willing to discuss and work out a care plan that fits everyone's schedule. I love playing games and going for runs; great with younger and more active furry friends. I believe in lots of love and positive reinforcement to ensure that all pups are having a fun and safe time and to also ensure that your dog is doing their best. We have two dogs who were both rescued from Amish puppy mills where they were kept in a tiny stall as mama breeders producing litter after litter of puppies for their whole lives, so they have incredible trauma and are very wary of trusting humans due to their pasts. Because of this, we consider them special needs dogs. Lara and jonathon are absolutely amazing with them, and I would not be able to ever leave town if I hadn’t found someone that I can completely trust and that has the patience and empathy to take care of our dogs. They are understanding and caring, and amazing at keeping us updated throughout the day. We have used them twice for 2 long trips and plan to continue in the future- they are so patient and loving with our dogs and have absolutely been a huge part of Cici and Layla’s recovery and rehabilitation journey. I couldn’t recommend them more. They follow directions perfectly and even dealt with our kitchen sink that started leaking when we were away. We are sooo grateful to have found them for our sweet girls!”

She had 3 rejections prior. Tess is a tricky sensitive dog with many triggers. Not violent just fear. Jenna was the best. Sensitive. Calm and didn't give up. Willing to take time to try different methods to help Tess feel safe. And all this without ever meeting us or in our wing the full story of trauma. Couldn't be happier or more grateful.”
About: I've had dogs and cats all my life and love animals. My little guy just crossed over the rainbow bridge and would love to have a dog to keep me company. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so would be able to drop in on your pet, some pet sitting and pet boarding. I have a fenced in yard and live right next to a park. Also have two sets of stairs for those little guys that can't quite jump on the couch and lots of pet beds.

Kathleen was so great! Our cats had trouble eating while we were away but she kept us updated and tried different ways to see if they would eat. She put my mind at ease that they were taken care of while we were away for a week. Truly grateful!
Sophie did a fantastic job of taking care of our cat while we were traveling! She was super communicative, detail oriented, and shared so many precious photos that put a smile on my face. She also went above and beyond to make sure all was well until we were back, including letting us know when one of our smoke detector batteries needed to be replaced and hunting down spares in our (admittedly terribly organized) household “junk” closet. Most importantly, upon returning home we could definitely tell our cat Sherman was well cared for during our time away! I’d highly recommend her to care for your pets.
