About: Hi, I’m Daphne! As a military wife, I understand that life can bring some unexpected, last minute schedule changes. So if there’s a day/weekend where you have to be away, I’d be more than happy to help watch over your fur baby! As a fitness instructor who values keeping an active lifestyle, I dedicate time to my own dogs by taking them out on neighborhood walks, trails, or play dates to the dog parks — so if you need care full of fun for your pup, look no further! Both of my dogs, Presley and Winston, play well with other dogs but can still be old souls who lay around and sleep all day too. My camera roll is filled with pics of my own dogs so you can expect constant photos, videos, and updates on your baby throughout their time with me! What you can expect: I separate dogs at feeding times and keep them in their individual crate overnight. This is for their safety as I wouldn’t want anything harmful happening to them overnight when I am not watching! They may behave well in your home but in new environments, I want to take extra precautions. The dogs are not inside for more than 2 hours as I let them outside for potty breaks and outdoor playtime often, with weather conditions kept in mind. My goal for drop-ins is to make each visit feel familiar and stress-free by sticking to their routine as much as possible and caring for them just like you would!

While we do not have a doggy door for backyard access, we do potty breaks approx every two hours or as needed. In our home, it is myself, my husband, and our dog Jessie, who is friendly to all. Although she is friendly, we do pick up all toys, chews, and food when other dogs are in our home. That being said, dogs will also be fed separate regardless of personality simply because dogs act different in homes that are not theirs. Drop off was rough -pun intended- but only because one dog wanted to come home with me and it broke my heart leaving him there. Roy didn't force him to go with just gently encouraged and worked at my dogs pace to get him inside. Once pick up came around Roy had them leashed, their things packed, and ready to come home.
