About: My wife and I did pet sitting in Virginia for a little over 3 years before moving to Tennessee. Our pet parents loved us and recommended us highly. I grew up with dogs and spent much of my childhood riding horses, so being around animals has always felt like second nature to me. I also have two dogs of my own at home that I absolutely love, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I bring over five years of hands-on veterinary experience, including working in a 24/7 emergency and specialty animal hospital in Boise, ID, where I worked primarily with dogs and cats. I started in the Emergency Room as a Technician Assistant, helping with patient care, administering medications, assisting with radiographs, collecting samples, and ensuring every pet received compassionate, high-quality treatment. I was later promoted to a Veterinary Assistant in the Cardiology department, where I assisted with advanced procedures such as echocardiograms, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, placing heart monitors, etc. I also educated clients on heart conditions, managed medical records, and ensured accurate care for every patient. In addition to my veterinary background, I have previous pet sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, and even chickens. About: I’ve always loved animals and taking care of them as well. I can feed, walk, bathe, and even give you and your animal all the trust and support needed. I have a dog of my own and I feed him every morning and night as well as take him for walks 3-4 times a week as well as take him to the DP once a week. I will do everything needed and more. About: I provide pet sitting. I am by no means a professional pet sitter. I am plainly a loving pet owner who doesn’t mind welcoming other dogs or cats in my home. I will offer plenty of attention and love to your pets as I do my own! My pets have always been good with other pets. I prefer any pets I host to be good with other pets too. If they aren’t good with cats or are unfamiliar, that is not an issue. My cat is smart and tends to stay out of sight, out of mind when unfamiliar faces are near :) Being good with other dogs is a must! I work a full time job as does my husband, but our older teenagers are always home and can provide more potty breaks or attention to the pets we sit. I have a fenced in yard. I prefer the pets I sit to be crate trained when they cannot be watched but otherwise they have free reign to the home.
