About: You can call me Lilly!! I can provide calm, patient, and specialized care for pets who need more than the basics. when it comes to anxious and sensitive pets, i focus on using a slow, trust-building approach so they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I have an anxious cat myself, so I understand how important it is to move at their pace and build real trust. I also have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs with complex needs, including blindness, deafness, and diabetes, so you can trust that details won’t be overlooked. That said, I absolutely love outgoing, playful pets too. Whether your dog wants long walks and playtime or your cat just wants attention and snuggles, I’m happy to match their energy and make sure they have a great time. Ideal for pets who need extra patience or just a reliable, attentive sitter while you’re away. I have availability through out the week and weekends. I keep my calendar updated and always communicate clearly about availability. Once a booking is confirmed, you can count on me to be reliable and on time. I care for pets in their own home where they feel safest and most comfortable. I follow their routine closely for feeding, walks, and playtime, and make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I’m especially patient with anxious pets and take a calm, gentle approach. I also respect your home, keep things clean, and can provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

Shawna went above and beyond caring for my fur babies! Treated my dog Andi with kindness, patience, and care, even offering to assist with my other pets that weren’t included in the booked service. Logistically, she was perfectly proactive, asking all the questions I hadn’t even thought of but would’ve came up during the visit. This was very helpful as I’m not always available in the moment so we were able to square everything away beforehand. Would book Shawna again if ever needed :)

About: With a deep passion for animal welfare, I have developed a lifelong affinity for dogs. My household has always included at least one dog, and I have gained extensive experience in caring for them throughout my adult life. My children, now adults, grew up in dog-friendly households and have continued this tradition with their own families. I strongly believe that a home is incomplete without the companionship of a four-legged friend. I am well-versed in handling various breeds and sizes of dogs. Your dog and I will enjoy exploring the neighborhood together, discovering new sights and smells. On occasion, we may visit our local Starbucks for a pup cup treat, with your prior approval. We may also take a stroll through the nearby park, weather permitting. I understand the importance of providing dogs with opportunities to experience new environments and sensations. My ultimate goal is to ensure that your dog remains comfortable and stress-free at all times. Please feel free to contact me to schedule a meet and greet. I am available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, to provide pet care services for your fur babies. On Sundays, I am available anytime after 12:30 p.m., following church services. My residence features a fenced yard, providing a secure environment for my five pets. I diligently supervise them, limiting their time alone to brief intervals. We participate in regular walks, adjusted according to weather conditions. I prioritize their comfort, avoiding walks in extreme temperatures and taking measures to protect them from the elements.

About: I've been around all kinds of animals since I was born, and have raised and cared for them since I was old enough to help. I have done drop-ins, pet sitting, dog-walking, and even farm sitting and dog massage for friends and family for years. I have 2 dogs and a cat of my own that I love so much. Others would argue I love animals more than people (they may be right about that, ha!) I am a retired massage therapist and self-published author with time on my hands (pun absolutely intended). Between writing chapters (or bouts of writer's block) I am open for pet care most of the day until the evening, with some night time hours available upon request :) If you are interested in massage for enhanced mobility and comfort (particularly for senior animals and those with hip and joint pain) feel free to inquire about dog/cat massage 💜 I am clean, compassionate, and considerate. I leave my clients' homes just as I found them - unless the pet has had an accident in which case I'll clean that up before leaving :) I am happy to love on my clients' pets as if they were my own, and take caring for them very seriously.

Their well-being is a natural part of my routine, and I’m committed to keeping them happy and healthy In my home, every dog is treated with gentle care, patience, and consistent attention. About: As a dedicated dog walker with two years of experience, I ensure your dog gets the exercise, safety, and outdoor stimulation they need. Beyond daily walks, I spent two years fostering kittens, which gave me deep experience managing strict care routines, observing subtle health and behavior cues, and providing gentle hands-on care. As the owner of a senior dog, I also understand firsthand the extra patience, slow-paced mobility support, and specialized attention older pups require. Whether your dog is an energetic walker needing a brisk workout or a senior companion needing gentle care, I treat every pet with the same love, safety, and dedication I give my own. Because I am not currently working, pet care is my primary focus each day. My open and highly flexible schedule allows me to easily accommodate your pet’s exact routine, whether that means morning walks, mid-day potty breaks, specific mealtime schedules, or late-night check-ins. I have full availability throughout the week for requests and extended playtimes, and uninterrupted companionship, ensuring your pet gets undivided attention without being rushed. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their familiar environment, routine, and sense of security. I follow your exact instructions for feeding, exercise, medication, and play, while also keeping your space tidy and secure. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I provide attentive supervision, fresh water, and plenty of love before leaving them happy and safe. In my home, safety, comfort, and a calm environment come first. As a pet owner myself to a senior dog and two cats, I ensure all animals are properly introduced, supervised, and given their own comfortable spaces to relax. Whether at your house or mine, I treat every pet with the same patience, dedication, and gentle care I give my own.

About: Pet Care Experience I have experience caring for dogs, cats, turtles, and birds. I’ve taken care of both puppies and senior pets feeding them, walking them, giving medications, and keeping them company. I truly love animals and enjoy being part of their daily routine. What Sets Me Apart I treat every pet with patience, affection, and full attention. I take the time to walk, play, and care for each one like they were my own. About: I've taken care of my own dog for the past 8 years, but before that I was raised around dogs and other animals. My grandparents and uncle always had multiple dogs for hunting, so I am very comfortable around and them and developed a love for dogs at a young age. I have dog sat on various occasions over the past 10 years, and I would love to continue to do it while I’m on the job search. I have a relatively flexible schedule throughout the week since I am pregnant and out of work for the moment, so in most cases would be more than willing to try and work something out. I am currently living in a house with my own dog so I would rather not be doing home services on my end but it is possible for well behaved dogs since my dog is very friendly.

About: My wife and I did pet sitting in Virginia for a little over 3 years before moving to Tennessee. Our pet parents loved us and recommended us highly. We have never met a dog or cat that didn't like us and some even called my wife the dog whisperer because she has a very calming demeanor. We have taken care of dogs from toy poodles to boxers (3 boxers at one time for the weekend). We love to play and snuggle and we will treat them like they are our own. I work nights but my wife is a stay at home grandmother and between us we have plenty of time to give your dog(s) or cat(s) the special time they need and we would love the chance to get to know yours. I am home full time so I have plenty of time to love on your pet(s) except when I have to go to other clients homes to love on theirs. I have a fenced in yard and take them out regularly and I go out with them to make sure they are safe and secure.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
