1. Hugh & Mary R.

“Our boy Max thoroughly enjoyed his two days hanging out with Hugh and Mary! We like to ski and no pups allowed, so we checked Rover and found this retired couple who have a heart (and lap!) for spoiling dogs. 🐕 Max was pooped out the first day, after getting to watch tv with Hugh and keeping Mary company while she did some work. He was happy yo see us at the end of the day skiing, and happy to go back for a second day of TLC with his new friends. We love Hugh and Mary, and you will, too!”

“Kelly was so good to our dog, Parker. We left Parker in her care for a few hours and she told us he had separation anxiety. She brought him in her house and gave him treats. She also has a beautiful house and fenced in yard for the dogs to run. Kelly is very caring and we highly recommend her to watch your dog!”

11. Matthew B.
“Matt is truly a dog whisperer. He is always my #1 go to whenever I’m going out of town or will be away from home all day. I have a 2 year old French Bulldog with a handful of health issues and allergies and Matt pays such close attention to her and tends to her the same way that I would. She gets so excited whenever she sees him come in and she runs straight to him. He always makes sure that she gets plenty of love and playtime and follows all of my instructions very thoroughly. I cannot recommend him enough!”

12. Teri M.
“Teri was so flexible, communicative and genuine. I left my dog for the day while I went boating with friends, and I was at peace after seeing how loving and playful Teri was when I dropped him off. She went the extra mile by having doggie treats, and water and food bowls ready, and sent us off with a little gift. If you’re in the Big Bear area and need a loving and accommodating sitter, reach out t Teri!”

“Caesar was friendly and great with my 8 month old golden retriever. His house was about 5-10 min from snow summit so was great to drop the dog off for the day and pick up on the way out. 15. Carrie L.
About: I have always been an animal lover. I have a BS degree in Biology with an emphasis in Zoology, and I managed a veterinary clinic for seven years. We currently have a German Shepherd, a Great Dane, and one large fluffy cat who are our furry kids. I am a very compassionate and empathetic person. I have been in social services by trade, and I love connecting and developing relationships with people and have a particular love and connection with animals. Even in my work both Child and Adult Protective Services, I always found myself drawn to protecting and caring for animals as well, to try and be their voice and an advocate. Working with people and pets seems like a natural progression, as it plays to all of my strengths!

“Kaitlynn met Teddy for the first time and really treated him like she knew him. We were heading on a trip with some friends close by and needed someone to watch or dog for a few hours and we're so glad Kaitlynn was able to watch him and we wouldn't have had a better choice for a sitter. If you are in need of a sitter I highly suggest her :)”

19. Kacia L.
“I have a standard poodle who is high energy and loves cuddles. He gets excited every time Kacia comes over and will meet her at the door for play time while I am at work. She is grate with animals and has even helped me with my two cats while I was away on vacation. Highly recommend her for animal care, she shows them the love they need when you can't be there yourself.”
