“Omg!! We truly got blessed with Hugh and Mary, right off the bat you can tell they are very kind people and were excited to watch our dog Chita. They introduced Chita with the other dogs that were there as well to make sure she was comfortable with them, which she was. Chita is very good but is new to a lot of things and Hugh and Mary were able to teach Chita to use a doggy door. The whole time they were watching her, they had great communication and would send us updates along with pictures which I absolutely loved. Hugh and Mary also gave us the most thoughtful gift ever. They’re truly kind people. Thank you so much for everything!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and many other animals since I was a kid. My family loves to be outdoors and the dogs tag along most days! Our pets are family. I’m a stay at home mom with many pet animals. I enjoy caring for animals and making your pet feel loved while you are away. I have a fenced yard and dogs are allowed inside with us. I have three dogs, three cats and chickens(they are kept separate) we are animal lovers and have plenty of time for exercise, play and cuddles.

About: I have previous experience working at a veterinarian hospital and pet boarding. I am flexible to the individual needs of each pet and I will respect the training you have given them. For example, if you don't allow them on the furniture then I will not alter that training. I have one spoiled dog in my household that loves to socialize with all other pets. He is neutered and very playful. However, if required, I will separate him from guest pets. I can provide lots of time for walking, running, or playing catch. If you have any special requests for your pet, please let me know so that I can provide the best care possible. Your pet's safety and happiness will be my highest priority! All pickups/drop offs conducted in parking lot. I am at home to take care of them and provide care around the clock. Dogs have plenty of room and I try to make every dog feel at home. I have a fenced yard and double gate entry so there are so escapes. It is important to me that your dog is safe and comfortable during their stay.

About: Your dog(s) will be treated as part of the family. They will be inside, but able to go play in the back yard, any time they want. We have a gentle husky. He is kind to both large and small dogs. They will have fun together. You can go enjoy your day, and know your dog will too! I’ve had large dogs my whole life, and feel comfortable with all breeds. My dog is my baby, so I understand how much yours means to you. After working 32 years as a paramedic, I’m now retired. With the exception of a short errand, I will be home at all times. My schedule is very flexible to help you enjoy your time. In our home, all dogs will be inside. They can go outside into a fenced back yard, any time they want to. There is also a heated dog run in the back yard. You can go enjoy your day, knowing your dog is happy and safe.

About: I've had dogs growing up, as an adult I owned a lab pit mix from being 4 days old to when she passed not too long ago at the age of 12. I have experience with small and large dogs I am living full time in Big Bear Lake, I am flexible on your dog sitting time needs. I am available for anything from short walks to week long sitting keeping your dog in my home. I I prefer to watch in my home. My home is dog-friendly, and you are welcome to do an inspection of my home. I have a completed fenced in large backyard that is well maintained.

About: I have always been an animal lover. I have a BS degree in Biology with an emphasis in Zoology, and I managed a veterinary clinic for seven years. We currently have a German Shepherd, a Great Dane, and one large fluffy cat who are our furry kids. I am a very compassionate and empathetic person. I have been in social services by trade, and I love connecting and developing relationships with people and have a particular love and connection with animals. Even in my work both Child and Adult Protective Services, I always found myself drawn to protecting and caring for animals as well, to try and be their voice and an advocate. Working with people and pets seems like a natural progression, as it plays to all of my strengths!

About: After years of caring for all my friends pets when they go out of town I decided to give this a try! I love all animals and now that I work part time at home I am always available. I am a very active person and love the outdoors so I have no problem spending time outside with your pet. Living in Big Bear there are plenty of trails and dog parks available to visit within walking distance of our home. We also have a doggy door and a fenced in backyard. We do not have pets of our own but look forward to meeting and caring for yours! I know leaving pets can be stressful but rest assured your pet will be happy and cared for.
