“Sarah was absolutely wonderful with my fur baby, Louie! She sent pictures and updates daily, and left my house clean and easy to come home to. My pup Louie adores her and I’ll be using her to keep in the future for sure!”

“Ryan stayed at our home for 3 days watching over our furry family. Ryan was amazing in his care of my 4- legged friends, Sir Winston is a 180 lb Newfoundland who thinks he is a lap dog and our little girl Lilly is extremely needy. Ryan took amazing care of our little ones - he sent pictures every day, communicated via email and phone and generally set our minds at ease while we were out of town. I couldn't ask for a better caretaker of my 4 legged friends. Ryan is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. He gave 5 star treatment. I will definitely be requesting his services in the future. Thank you from Winston and Lilly”

About: I taken care when I was very young even taking care of ill/sick animals. I'll nurse them back to health when vets couldn't do it. I bottle feed and take them to the restroom when they are babies. I been taking care since 10 years old. I'm very open with my schedule and love to be around animals. I work from home working as a editor and have lots of free time. I have a gate area for all animals. I always have them on a leash and make sure we walk in the morning or evening. It's too hot for their paws if you have booties for them even great. Always have water on me and poop bags. I never have anything laying around for them to eat or play with. I'm always outside with them when need to go potty and play.
About: Hello! My name is Taylor, and I am an animal lover with 15 years of experience caring for my own cats and dogs. I have been walking dogs professionally for about 3 years. I'm offering all services available through Rover (walking, stop-ins, overnight sitting, etc.) to help you and your fur babies! Thank you for taking the time to read about me, and I hope to be seeing you and your pup as soon as possible. :) My work is flexible and remote, so I am available at any time. I can provide all Rover services weekends and weekdays, day and night. I have a fenced patio for fresh air, and an unfenced yard in front of my apartment for relief and play. My senior dog, Bronson, loves to make friends and welcomes company.

“We hired Mary to care for our two dogs while we were away for three days. We did a meet and greet and our dogs really loved the attention Mary gave them. While we were gone, Mary updated us with pictures and even brought in our Amazon packages. When we came back Mary left the house spotless. Our dogs must of had a good time because they keep going back to our guest room to look for her.”

About: Hi! 🐶 My name is Chloe, and I come from a family of dog and cat lovers. I have a lifelong love for animals and a dream of one day owning or working for a wildlife rehabilitation center. I want to give you peace of mind by ensuring that your fur baby's needs are met with care and compassion every time that you are away. If you own birds, reptiles, insects, or small mammals I'd be more than happy to care for them as well! -Volunteer experience - Big Bear Alpine Zoo, Big Bear, CA HALO Animal Rescue, Glendale, AZ I'm currently in between jobs and have full availability until further notice. 😊 My partner and I share a car for now, so that is the only thing I may need to work around. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I monitor pets closely, keep doors and gates secured, and only use leashes outdoors. I follow all owner instructions regarding diet, medication, and routines. I maintain a clean environment with access to fresh water and a quiet resting area. I will never bring pets into crowded or unsafe environments. About: I have taken care of many animals since I was around 12 years old. For years, people within my community have come to me to take care of, or spend time with their sweet (and sometimes not so sweet) pets while they were away, and because I am so used to caring for children, I have a special place in my heart for pets of all kinds. I am very patient and nurturing and have many pets of my own back home in GA where I grew up, but because I am away from my own fur babies, I am hoping to have the opportunity to spend time with yours, just as if they were mine. :) My typical full-time job is within the film industry, which is shut down for the time being due to a writer’s strike that has forced thousands out of work for an unknown amount of time. With that being said, I’m spending a lot of time at home and have a completely open schedule for pet care! The writer’s strike likely will go on for months, so I am fully available now for full-time pet care and will still be available part time once the film industry is back up and running! I have always felt comfortable having pets on my furniture as well as in my bed, as I grew up with three “lap dogs” who crave constant attention and cuddles. I understand that not all pets prefer to be touched or held, but I like to give pet owners that option. :) I am a pretty active young adult, so I love dogs that like to go on hikes or walks around our nice, friendly neighborhood. (or yours!) I never let my own animals’ food or water bowls go empty, so I make sure that the pets are always well maintained and taken care of. I am attentive, caring and patient and I’m eager to share my love with your pets!
About: I have cared for my own as well as family and friends dogs for years. Special needs no problem I can administer medications, give diabetic dogs shots, dog training, and teach tricks I am available 7 days a week to come to you. When you can’t be there you want someone who will give them the loving care they are used to. Keeping your pets happy and safe in their own environment is less stressful for them and they can keep their routines. Get medications on time and feed on schedule. Dogs know when it’s dinner time.
“Excellent service over a holiday weekend. Emily is conscientious and a great communicator. Her frequent communications gave me great peace of mind. She also went the extra mile by taking care of the house, cleaning, and watering the garden.”

Big Bear City pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had an amazing experience with our sitter! She showed up five minutes early, asked tons of thoughtful questions to really understand Penelope’s routine, and even came for a meet-and-greet before the first visit. While we were at my daughter’s cheer competition, she took such great care of Penelope — she taught her “down,” Penelope had no accidents, and she sent me the cutest photo updates throughout the day. I felt completely comfortable and informed the whole time. Penelope adored her, and so did we. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!
