About: Hi! I’m Erin, Graduate Gemologist & Jeweler, that works from home! I am a pet owner also. And love all breeds of animals. I have a mixed breed rescue dog (all shots and healthy) and two rescue cats. My three amigos! I have always owned large dogs, and am experienced with larger breeds. But I also adore the teeny tiny ones as well! If your pet comes to my home, they must accept cats as I have two indoor kitties. I have a large Enclosed yard they can run and play in, all day if they want. a large crate of needed , and I’m home full time. I can do sleepovers in your home, if not frequent, or extended stays. My pets and husband might get jealous! 🤣 *PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT board cats in my home, only dogs and caged animals. Sorry. I work from home and have the flexibility of scheduling work around my fury friends! I am available to accept any pets starting at 8am on weekdays and weekends. We take 1-2 walks each day. Your pet is allowed on furniture, so my home will become their home comfortably. I have a large backyard that is fully enclosed. It is a brick wall of decent height but I will need to know if you own a reindeer that can fly over a wall! 🤣

About: I taken care when I was very young even taking care of ill/sick animals. I'll nurse them back to health when vets couldn't do it. I bottle feed and take them to the restroom when they are babies. I been taking care since 10 years old. I'm very open with my schedule and love to be around animals. I work from home working as a editor and have lots of free time. I have a gate area for all animals. I always have them on a leash and make sure we walk in the morning or evening. It's too hot for their paws if you have booties for them even great. Always have water on me and poop bags. I never have anything laying around for them to eat or play with. I'm always outside with them when need to go potty and play.

About: For the last two decades, I have dedicated myself to house sitting and pet care for those closest to me. I’ve handled everything from high-energy pups to gentle giants and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and TLC. Because I’ve worked with dogs of all different sizes and temperaments, I know how to read their body language, respect their routines, and give them exactly what they need to feel at ease. I'm currently working part time so I'll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I'm available for day or overnights during the week and most weekends. I am very loving and hands on type with pets. We can play in the yard if it's fenced and/or go for walks. I am comfortable to administer medication if needed, as I have cared for many senior foster and my own pets.

About: It's been my honor to have fostered and rescued many dogs and cats over the years. Depending on the season, I can board dogs at my comfy house with a large fenced yard to explore, lots of grass for playing, and a safe suburban neighborhood for walks. I value new places and experiences so I enjoy hanging out with critters in their own home environment too, so I do pet sitting throughout the states and abroad! I’ll keep your pets, plants, and your home safe, clean, and pampered! I serve just one dog family at a time, so I can give lots of one-on-one attention. Additional fees may apply for special services. We ask that our visiting pups be friendly and housebroken; up to 30 pounds. Larger dogs may be an option depending on temperament, training, and availability. Happily, I don't have typical work commitments. I can go wherever and whenever! I recently left a teaching career and it's nice to live without a set schedule! I have a reliable car so I can be there when you need me! I like to follow you and your pet's routine. I'll make sure they feel safe, have fun, and get lots of love and attention. Whenever possible we want to use their familiar blanket, bed, or crate. I'm a responsible homeowner myself so I know how to care of your home, your yard, or anything else that comes up!

She also sent me photos of the pups throughout the day and you could clearly see they had the best time with her. Will absolutely call her again when we need someone to look after the fur babies.”

About: 小红书: CAT Tree猫猫寄养舍 Instagram: cattree_lovecats Welcome to Cartree Family Cat Boarding! 1. I only onboard cats and do not have any dogs. 2. I built individual rooms with toys, cat tree, litter box for each onboarding cat. 3. I provide customized and individualized care for each onboarding cat. 4. Each cat will live in an assigned room to avoid cat fights for the best safety. 5. I will take pictures of each cat and actively share any update with the owners. 6. Owners only need to bring their cat’s food — we provide everything else (litter, litter box, bowls, toys, and basic cat supplies). In a new environment, it’s best for cats to keep eating what they’re used to. CAT Tree Daily Care Routine • Morning (around 8:00 AM): We start the day by feeding the cats and doing a quick health and wellness check. We lightly clean the rooms, offer some playtime or cuddles for socialization, and tidy up litter boxes or pet areas as needed. Each room also receives a full deep cleaning and disinfection once a week. • Midday: We provide a second feeding, check in on each cat, engage them with enrichment activities to keep them mentally and physically stimulated, and send updates — including photos, videos, and a brief report — to the owner. • Evening: We feed the cats a third time and do a final clean-up to ensure all spaces are clean, cozy, and ready for a peaceful night. I’ve specially built 4 individual small rooms and reserved 2 bedroom to care for the cats in my care. My goal is to create a personalized space for each cat, providing a safe and comfortable boarding environment with individualized attention, ensuring that every cat enjoys unique love and tranquility.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost of House Sitting in Woodlands on Rover is $126 per night as of October 2026. Most bookings cost between $59 and $170 per night. sitters set their own rates based on factors such as their experience, the length of care, the number of pets, and your pet’s specific needs. As long as your booking dates and pet profiles are accurate, the price shown before you confirm is the total, including any booking fee.

As of October 2026, there are 482 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Woodlands. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Woodlands walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Woodlands maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

<b>Tip:</b> Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woodlands choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
