I’m Cassidy! I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes: energetic puppies to sweet seniors, ranging from 8 to 100+ lbs. I used to love spending slow afternoons with my last dog as she grew older — and also had a blast training and playing with my current American Dingo mix, Denali, from 8 weeks old. Over the years, I’ve built a strong understanding of dog behavior, psychology, and body language. I don’t believe in harsh punishment — my goal is to help your dog feel safe, secure, and happy, which is why I always lean into positive reinforcement and praise. Building trust comes naturally to me, and I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Every pup is different — it’s what makes them so lovable! Working from home means I’m flexible year-round for both Big Bear locals and visitors. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a quick drop-in, or some love and attention while you work or go for your own adventure — I’ve got you covered. Can’t wait to meet your sweet pup!

I'm a full-time Big Bear local who loves to take my own dog for adventures — so I know all the best dog-friendly spaces and trails. I can spoil your pup with an adventure they love! And if you'd rather let your dog stay at home where they feel most comfortable, I'm happy to visit and keep them company while you're away. I'll respect your space and leave it better than when I arrived. Happy to share references and reviews from previous house-sitting clients! My top priorities are always: 1) Keep your pup safe, happy, and cared for. 2) Give you peace of mind, so you can fully enjoy your time away.

Cassidy is absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend a better pet sitter. From the very beginning, I felt completely comfortable trusting her with my pup. She cared for her in my home for a full week, checking in twice a day and even staying overnight when needed. Cassidy is thoughtful, reliable, and incredibly detail-oriented. My pup was happy, well cared for, and honestly a little spoiled with her new routine! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Cassidy is amazing with dogs! She truly loves them and goes above and beyond to make sure they’re cared for in the best way possible. My dog, Niko, absolutely adores her! She takes the time to understand his needs and makes him feel safe, loved, and happy. When Cassidy is with Niko, I never have to worry — I know he’s in great hands. She’s incredibly responsible, attentive, and a fantastic communicator, always keeping me updated so I can relax while I’m away. Cassidy also has experience with dogs of all ages and breeds and has done a lot of research to better understand their behavior and care needs. She’s thoughtful, patient, and genuinely passionate about what she does. I couldn’t recommend her more — your pup will be in the best hands with her!
Cassidy is an exceptional dog sitter. My elderly black lab/german shepherd mix (Tandy) loved her and would always be just as sad to say bye to her as she would be excited to see me. Cassidy was good at playing and walking Tandy without overwhelming her old, tired hips. She would give me regular updates and pictures of my old pup having fun or sleeping soundly. She was also good about giving Tandy any medications she needed. I never had any issues with Cassidy and Tandy absolutely loved being with her.

I’m a work-from-home solopreneur, which means I make my own hours and have fully flexible availability. I also live in Big Bear year-round, so I’ll be able to care for your dog in any season. Whether your dog needs a quick check-in while you work during the week, a fun adventure while you go skiing in the winter, or some love and attention while you’re out of town — I’m here to help!
