“Amy was a pleasure to work with! She stayed over to take care of Hanz and Richard like they were her own. Thank you so much Amy!”

“Kyra is a darn good dog sitter! I have a pack of chihuahua's and a pomeranian that she took on without any issues! When I arrived home everything was perfect and pups were happy 😊 I will definitely be rebooking with Kyra!”

I highly recommend to everyone in the area and can’t wait to share her information with our friends and neighbors. I’m a frequent Rover user and she’s top notch.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and loved the little critters a ton, I sometimes show too much attention, but that’s fine by me :) I’m available at any time so I can watch them how ever long or walk them and check on them all day long so everything works! I have a kind puppy that would love to play with your dog and a yard to play in and we can run around the neighborhood if you doggy enjoys that!

“Angelique was absolutely amazing! We booked her to watch our 10 mo. old French Bulldog while we were in Bethlehem, PA for my sister's wedding, and I didn't have to worry at all about whether he was being taken care of, and this enabled me to enjoy the wedding festivities! We were thrilled with Angelique.”

About: Hi! I'm David, a writer who works from home and loves the company of pets! I can often accommodate last-minute bookings and I specialize in pets who need calm, consistent care. What sets me apart is my combination of professional discipline, a quiet and respectful presence, and deep experience with both young and senior pets. My clients consistently note my reliability, communication, and the way their pets are happy and relaxed in my care. Client feedback includes: “David was the perfect sitter for our Rosie… multiple long walks, constant updates, and great photos. I look forward to discussing your needs and ensuring your pets receive attentive, loving care. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Q: What are your house sitting hours? A: My standard house sitting stay typically runs from 8 pm to 9 am the next day, giving your pet a full overnight stay with plenty of love and care. If you need different hours, let me know and we'll make it work. Q: What if I need to drop off or pick up my pet outside those hours? A: No problem! Extended care beyond the standard 24-hour stay is available for an additional fee. Extra hours up to 4 hours are charged at 50% of the nightly rate, and stays longer than 4 hours beyond that may be charged a full additional night. Q: How do you handle multiple pets? A: I happily care for multiple pets! Additional fees apply per pet to cover the extra attention and care they deserve. Q: Do you have special rates for puppies or senior pets? A: Yes! Puppies require extra time and patience, so I charge a slightly higher rate to ensure they get the care they need. Senior pets also receive special, gentle attention tailored to their needs. Q: Can you administer medication? A: Absolutely. I have experience administering medication to dogs and cats, including special instructions and schedules. Q: What types of pets do you care for? A: I care for dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, senior pets, fish, and small animals. Just let me know any specific needs your pet has! Q: What kind of activities will you do with my pet? A: Daily walks, playtime, cuddles, training refreshers, puzzle games, and plenty of love and attention. I tailor activities to your pet’s personality and needs. Q: What should I tell you about my pet before the stay? A: Please share details about medications, daily habits, favorite toys, any fears or triggers, bite history, socialization with other animals or children, and whether they have a hunting or chasing instinct (like chasing squirrels). My work—writing books and articles on science, medical innovations, stem cells, and nutrition—allows me to work quietly from home most of the day. This means your pets get plenty of companionship and attention. I’m generally flexible and available at short notice, making it easy to fit in walks, playtime, or last-minute bookings. When not writing, I enjoy exploring new neighborhoods on foot, which often means your dog gets extra fresh-air adventures. I’m a responsible, detail-oriented professional with 25 years of experience as an architect and writer—skills that make me exceptionally respectful of people’s spaces and attentive to design, safety, and care. Whether I’m walking your dog outside or caring for pets inside your home, I ensure their environment is calm, clean, and secure. I’ve successfully completed numerous house and pet sits through the trustedhousesitting platform, handling everything from daily walks to medical emergencies with care and composure. I treat every pet as if they were my own—earning trust until they relax, play, and sometimes even nap in my lap. I’m comfortable with dogs, cats, fish, and small pets, and experienced with puppies, kittens, senior pets, and administering medication.

“M.L. was amazing! She gave me regular updates on everything and took wonderful care of my border collie mix. She was also super proactive whenever she noticed anything going on with her or in the house as well. I'll definitely be looking to book with her again in the future!”

“Margaret is amazing! She stayed at my home with my cat and dog and they were so happy when I got home. She is great at communicating and sent me pictures of how the pets were doing, which always made my day. Thank you so much!”

“Angel was great! My 2 fur babies (dog and cat) became best friends with him almost immediately. I don't leave them alone with a sitter very often, so having a stranger in the house without mom being there causes them both anxiety. But Angel came over to meet them before my trip and made it easy for them to accept him. I highly recommend Angel for your pet!”

Bethlehem pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was Amy’s first time pet sitting for us. We did a meet and greet with Amy the weekend before the pet sitting so that my husband, dog, and I could meet her and she could meet our dog, Max. The meeting went well and we felt comfortable leaving Max with her. On the night of the pet sitting, we came home to find Max sleeping in his favorite spot with Amy sitting beside him. To us that said it all - Max felt comfortable and could rest easy. During the pet sitting, Amy made some videos of Max and her playing and took some photos of a stroll around the yard. Max is a good judge of character and he was relaxed and happy in these videos and photos which made us feel relaxed and happy. We appreciated the care Amy took with him and the connection they made.

Corinna did a great job staying at my house to take care of our 3 doggies while we gone for almost 2 weeks! The fur fam looks well taken care of and are happy. As a side note, the house looks the same way as I left it. Mail and papers were brought into the house. I would not hesitate to use Corinna again as a dog sitter in our home.

Aleia was AMAZING!! Would absolutely use her again for anything our two puppies need. She stayed overnight at our house for a little less than a week and was very communicative, responsible, and of course loving to our pups. Absolutely so issues whatsoever, lovely girl!

Lauren did an amazing job taking care of my two babies Bruno and Mya , while I was away for my sister’s wedding. Her communication was amazing. I got daily updates and pictures of both of my dogs. She was also very helpful in regards to helping my wife who had a broken ankle And could not tend to the dogs the way they needed to be. Very personable and helped out my wife a lot during my absence. Would definitely recommend hiring her for any housesitting, animal sitting, dog walking services, and everything else. She definitely was very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind to my babies as-well as my wife! We will definitely be rebooking with her going forward for all of our pet sitting needs! We found a perfect & permanent pet sitter! 😊🙏🏽🙌🏽

Liana was amazing! She watched our little old man during our wedding weekend and he was so calm and comfortable when we got home, it was like we never left! She left lots of updates and pictures, which always helps to ease our minds. We will definitely be booking with Liana again. :)
