About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve been a dog walker for several households in my neighborhood. I’ve been an active participant in dog training since I was 11 (taking dogs to training classes and learning how to teach commands via the clicker reward system). I also have experience cat sitting. I am currently a doctoral student at the university of Maryland, so I am free anytime after 6 PM on week nights, and my weekends are flexible. I also tend to run early in the morning (usually by 6 AM) if you’re dog would like to join me I can certainly make that happen, or I’m happy to include them in the warm up or cool down if walking is more their speed ! I have a fenced in backyard if your dog wants to hangout here for the day. I also have a playful 2 year old cat who LOVES his canine buddies! He also enjoys playing with other cats, he’s never met a person or animal he didn’t like! However, if your pet is more of a Lone Ranger there is ample space to separate them as well.

About: I've been pet-sitting dogs and cats from a young age, and have cared for my own dog for almost five years now. About: My primary experience is with a 55lb dog who liked pulling, reacting to other dogs, and eating stuff off the ground. Through this I learned good walking techniques like crossing the street to avoid other dogs and keeping an eye out for food on the ground. I'm a graduate student with a flexible schedule and I mainly work from home. I have time for walks, fetch, pets, and any other pet needs. I'll check the water for your dog, if it's hot outside add some ice cubes, and give treats, play tug, and get some energy out.

About: Hi! I’m a recent college grad from UMD with 5 years of experience in pet care! I have two pups back home and have spent many years supporting friends and family with pet care needs. My junior year of college I also lived with a medical assistant dog in training for sever months. I hope to support pets with enriching walks and playtime activities. Additionally, I have experience with medicated/assisted pets and am comfortable working with animals of varying support needs. I currently work a remote job that provides a flexible schedule, I have a few trips planned this summer and move back home at the start of august but I’m happy to support pets until then! My pets at home are trained in various ways such as understanding boundaries and house rules, while I have experience working with trained dogs, I can also work with mildly untrained dogs. In terms of walks, I keep dogs close in high traffic areas, but I do provide room for exploration during more individual walks (when it makes sense) however I always keep pets within sight and less than a few steps away. In terms of pet sitting and let-outs, I enjoy playtime and am familiar with considering family dynamics and hierarchies as it applies to pet behavior.
