About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve been a dog walker for several households in my neighborhood. I’ve been an active participant in dog training since I was 11 (taking dogs to training classes and learning how to teach commands via the clicker reward system). I also have experience cat sitting. I am currently a doctoral student at the university of Maryland, so I am free anytime after 6 PM on week nights, and my weekends are flexible. I also tend to run early in the morning (usually by 6 AM) if you’re dog would like to join me I can certainly make that happen, or I’m happy to include them in the warm up or cool down if walking is more their speed ! I have a fenced in backyard if your dog wants to hangout here for the day. I also have a playful 2 year old cat who LOVES his canine buddies! He also enjoys playing with other cats, he’s never met a person or animal he didn’t like! However, if your pet is more of a Lone Ranger there is ample space to separate them as well.

About: I've taken care of family and friends pets for the past decade, and have experience in animal studies through my college degree. Additionally, I love animals and I'm looking forward to caring for and spending time with them! I am currently working part time at REI before my master's degree starts in September, and would love to fill the time I have in my part time shift with walking and pet sitting animals. I make sure that the environment in which I am taking care of your (and my) pets is safe for the animal, yet also enriching and comfortable for the animals.

“Kasey did such a wonderful job caring for our 3 cats over the weekend. She was super attentive to our directions, the cats had plenty of food and water, and she spent time playing and socializing with them too.”

About: I've been pet-sitting dogs and cats from a young age, and have cared for my own dog for almost five years now. I've also spent a year working as a veterinary assistant, and have experience creating safe and comfortable environments for all sorts of pets. I would love the opportunity to take care of your dogs, cats, or other small animals! I'm currently studying in college with only online classes till fall, so I have plenty of availability this summer for walks, sitting, and play time! On most of my free days, my availability is flexible towards whatever is needed. When visiting a home, I do my best to maintain order, cleanliness, and comfort while working with a pet. Structure and routine are important, and I'm dedicated to providing animals with the things they need in a timely fashion that minimizes stress. I make sure that any schedule we have, whether that be a walk, a visit, or playtime, is done at the pet's pace and prioritizes their enjoyment.

“Ashley took great care of our kitties while we were on our honeymoon. She easily managed all of their needs and sent updates to put our minds at ease as well so we could enjoy our time away. Thank you!”

About: Hi! I'm Jillian, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life including dogs, cats, even a bunny! I grew up caring for multiple pets at home, and I’ve also helped friends by watching their pets when they’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or just making sure your pet feels safe and loved, I’m here to provide reliable, attentive care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’ll treat them like my own! I'm currently a student who is free for the summer so my schedule is pretty flexible! Whatever your needs are, I'm sure we can work something out. When I do drop-in visits, I make sure your pet is fed, has fresh water, gets potty breaks, and of course, lots of love and attention! I’m happy to follow any specific care instructions you leave and always aim to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible. For walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making it fun—whether your dog loves a quick stroll or a long sniffari. I’ll always provide updates and photos so you feel connected while you’re away.

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I understand that they aren’t just your furry friend. They are your family. I raised in train my Sandy girl from a puppy. I’ve also taken care of cats my entire life. When your furry friend is with me, I treat them how I treat my pets, with all the love, kindness, and care possible! Currently I am a student at the Howard University in Washington DC and I also work as a cashier at Shoppers part time. I’ll be caring for your pets Monday, Wednesday, and on the weekends. Your pets will not only be fed and walked, but if your pet needs extra attention, they will receive top notch care! Whether it’s cuddles, medicine ,or just a watchful eye, I am your furry family’s new best friend! If you have specific instructions on how you watch your furry family to be tended to, I am both flexible and adaptive!

About: My primary experience is with a 55lb dog who liked pulling, reacting to other dogs, and eating stuff off the ground. Through this I learned good walking techniques like crossing the street to avoid other dogs and keeping an eye out for food on the ground. I'm a graduate student with a flexible schedule and I mainly work from home. I have time for walks, fetch, pets, and any other pet needs. I'll check the water for your dog, if it's hot outside add some ice cubes, and give treats, play tug, and get some energy out.

About: With years of hands on pet care, I treat every animal like family: patient, reliable, and fully attentive to their needs. I’m experienced with administering medication, caring for special needs pets, and building genuine bonds. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or quiet companionship, I tailor care to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m a teacher off for the summer, so my schedule is wide open! I’m available weekdays, weekends, and last minute morning, afternoon, or evening. 😊 Safety and trust are my top priorities. In my home, I create a calm, clean, and secure environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. I carefully pet proof the space to prevent any hazards and provide plenty of cozy spots for rest. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their routines and surroundings, ensuring minimal disruption while maintaining consistent care. I communicate openly with pet parents and follow all instructions closely, including feeding, medication, and exercise. Your pet’s comfort, security, and happiness always come first.

“Abby was great! She spent quality time with our dog, throwing fetch, taking water breaks, giving her attention/petting her, and gave her a treat before leaving since she was a good girl. We will definitely be hiring her again!”

About: Hi! I’m a recent college grad from UMD with 5 years of experience in pet care! I have two pups back home and have spent many years supporting friends and family with pet care needs. My junior year of college I also lived with a medical assistant dog in training for sever months. I hope to support pets with enriching walks and playtime activities. Additionally, I have experience with medicated/assisted pets and am comfortable working with animals of varying support needs. I currently work a remote job that provides a flexible schedule, I have a few trips planned this summer and move back home at the start of august but I’m happy to support pets until then! My pets at home are trained in various ways such as understanding boundaries and house rules, while I have experience working with trained dogs, I can also work with mildly untrained dogs. In terms of walks, I keep dogs close in high traffic areas, but I do provide room for exploration during more individual walks (when it makes sense) however I always keep pets within sight and less than a few steps away. In terms of pet sitting and let-outs, I enjoy playtime and am familiar with considering family dynamics and hierarchies as it applies to pet behavior.

“Ana was extremely flexible with assisting with my two dogs and showed great knowledge in training and handling both of them. They received nothing but love and care from her. I could not recommend her enough and I will definitely be using her in the future!”
