About: I’ve been caring for pets for a few years, mostly for close friends and family. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just keeping them company while their family is away, I’ve always treated pets as my own. I often help with housesitting and babysitting as well, so I’ve learned to also juggle multiple responsibilities. I’m currently home for the summer from college, although as back to school season starts, my last day in Bakersfield will be September 15th. With no current academic commitments, I am able to build my daily routine around the pets I care for! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always do my best to keep their routines as normal and comfortable as possible. About: I’ve had at least 5 years of experience sitting for friends and family. I’m going to college and studying to be a Veterinarian. I volunteer at Kern County animal shelter, and my main task is cleaning puppy cages, so I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I am a college student at CSUB, studying to be a veterinarian. During the Summer, I have a lot of free time while still maintaining good availability during the school year. Even if I have classes, I would still be able to check on an animal every day. I make sure to remove anything that could potentially harm an animal (Sago Palm for cats) and if they enjoy going outside, to always have them on a leash and in my sight.

About: While I haven’t had formal pet care experience, I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always taken care of my own pets. About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: Pretty much all of my life I’ve had a pet or two within my household. My first pet I remember clearly have a lot of responsibilities for was a cat I had when I was around 7. I would feed her, clean her litter box, and overall assist my family with caring for her. A couple years later I got a Golden Retriever and it was this dog that showed me how much I love animals. Once again I was always willing to help with her care, taking her for walks, giving her baths, and brushing her hair whenever needed. Now I have two dogs that I take extension care of and that I love to death. I bathe them, feed them, play with and take for walks. I’m currently employed and work a part time job, with a majority of my focus being towards school. I attend classes Monday-Thursday. At the moment I am currently on winter break so when I’m not working I spend most days with my dogs. I take them for walks regularly, feed them everyday, and give them attention all throughout the days. I grew up being taught to treat animals and other living things with respect and kindness. When I dog sit animals I abide by the rules given to me by owners and will care completely for the animals. I will feed whatever pets exactly how I am instructed, let them go outside to use the restroom regularly, and play with them extensively. I love animals a lot and I will probably spoil the animals with lots of love and attention if allowed. When walking my own dogs I allow my dogs to go potty and will pick up after them, I would let the dogs walk wherever they choose to go. I know that the dogs walks are for them to go out and get some fresh air and go potty.

About: I might not have much pet sitting experience, but occasionally, I take care of my friends dog at his apartment. It’s very relaxing and rewarding. I think it would be very satisfying to take care of other people’s pets to get more experience with responsibility and life. I am available between Monday to Friday around late afternoon or evening. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I mostly grew up around German Shepards and miniature Dobermans. I have two dogs of my own named Milo and Bear. I adopted Milo when he was a little less than a year from the pound. I got Bear just 6 months later from someone who couldn’t keep him. I love dogs and want to help take care of your pets! I am a stay at home mom and I also work from home. Working from home gives me flexibility to be able to be there for your pets. In my home or your home your pets safety and well being is my top priority. I will treat your pets with the same love l treat mine with. About: This job taking care of dogs is by far my one of my favorite one as dogs are therapeutic and a joy to be around I've cared for about 20ish dogs now and some repeat clients since being on here in December of 2024 and don't regret a moment at all and learned alot. I love taking care of dogs and can also handle walking the giant dog breeds and love pitbulls/huskies also Huge rottweiler fan !
