When I moved away for college, The house felt so empty without a furry companion, so I began fostering. I quickly became a failed foster, as I fell in love with my little pittie mix way too easy. We’ve traveled across the US together and I eventually rescued a sister for her because (like most pibbles), she needs all the attention and friendship she can find. I have over 5 years experience with pitties/ large discriminatory breeds, and although I have a heart for all breeds, those steal my heart. I work full time m-f with a flexible job, so I can adjust, depending on the day. However, the majority of my availability is in the mornings, evenings or weekends! I have (2) dogs at home and am used to having arms full of leashes. I prefer harnesses, although my younger pup walks with a lead, so I am familiar with those. We walk in busier areas, but I tend to keep shorter leashes and stray from other dogs, for caution unless I have a single leash with control and know the dogs body language. “My dog Rocko doesn’t always like strangers or anyone that’s not me lol, but Ayshah got him to obey her commands no problem. She really takes such great care for him while walking and caring for him. She keeps treats and water for the walk and always cleans up after him along the way. After a couple walks Rocko now gets super excited to see her pull into my driveway. He knows his friend has arrived to love and play with him. I really appreciate the fact that she seems to love and enjoy my fur baby as much as I do, that really takes the pressure off my back. About: Hello! My Name is Mekka. I am a flight attendant looking to dog sit/walk on my off time. I’ve had all kinds of pets through out my life. A bunny, a turtle, lizards, snakes and dogs. I’ve just always had a love for animals since childhood. I look forward to spreading that love to your fur baby! With my schedule as a flight attendant, I get my schedule a month in advance so I will know when I can provide services beforehand. I like to learn what the pets normal routine is like so I can try to stay as close to that as possible. I will build trust by trying my best to read the dogs body language & behavior to best care for them.
