“Robyn & Steven are always extremely reliable and super communicative. They make us feel comfortable leaving home knowing our cats and house are in good hands. I cannot say enough great things about them and the attentiveness they have to making sure everything is taken care of for us while we're away. There is nothing like having peace of mind when you're on vacation, and Robyn & Steven provide exactly that every time. Highly recommend these guys!!”

“Alison is very prompt and reliable. She updated us with pictures of our pet. She does a remarkable job! Will definitely use her many times more. Give her a shot. You won’t be disappointed.”

About: I am a huge animal lover- I currently have a few cats and dogs (high energy Belgian malinois and huskies), as well as a dozen quail. Previously, I’ve had multiple birds, turtles, fish, and chickens! I am extremely experienced with all types of caregiving and love doing it! I regularly take my dogs to fast cats, any outdoors activity like paddle boarding, runs most mornings, etc! I have extensive experience dealing with dogs with various medical issues. One of my dogs was diagnosed with a severe case of Addison's disease, requiring daily medications. My other elderly dog has frequent seizures, so I am confident in my ability is caring for special case animals. I am available for sitting, walking, or overnight boarding at any time, any day! I have completely open availability including late nights or early mornings. Safety is the most important thing- I carry my own pet insurance that covers more than just rover's. While on walks, I do not allow dogs to meet other strangers or animals in any situation. I always carry spare leashes and an air horn.
“On time, dependable, and professional!! Again, we are so fortunate to have such a great team taking care of our Fig. He is quite a challenge but we can be comfortable with going out; we know he is in capable hands. Thank you!”

“Mary was great! She provided great updates and pictures of my dog! My dog was well taken care of. I will definitely ask her to take care of my dog again!!”

“Ryan was able to accommodate us last minute for two separate days that we had to be out of town for the whole day. He is responsive and will update you when he arrives and leaves.”

“Cecily stayed with our 12 year old dog while my husband had surgery. We were nervous because our dog has separation anxiety but she warmed up to Cecily right away and enjoyed the day with her. I highly recommend Cecily!”

“I was very satisfied with Amy. She came before the stay so both my cat and I could become acquainted and review house access. She and my cat were immediate friends. She sent me pictures each day and we communicated by text and email. My house looked better when I returned than when I left. She is very kind and caring and I would recommend her without any qualms.”

“Claudia was great! I can tell Sissy was very comfortable and content with Claudia at her house. She was all set up to welcome her into her home and her calm energy is just what my anxious little dog needed.”

“Cindy was great! She took care of our pups just like her own. She kept me up to date and sent us photos of our babies. It is so hard to find someone trustworthy and responsible, we are so happy we came across Cindy! We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you Cindy for all you did!”

“I was worried about leaving Shadia for so long. But Katie is amazing! She stayed in contact with me daily. She sent me pictures Shadia so I would know that everything was OK. She went above and beyond what I could’ve asked when tropical storm Elsa was coming she moved the patio furniture into my garage. Hi wholeheartedly recommend her and will use her again the next time I travel. As I said Katie is amazing!”

About: Hello. I am a lifelong dog owner and dog carer. I have owned a Brittany Spaniel, and a Shischon from puppy-stage through the end of their lives. Currently I care for a senior Lab and middle-aged German Shephard/Rotweiler mix, both belonging to my daughter who lives in Jacksonville with her husband and my 18-month old grand-son with another expected in November. I've been a Rover client and sitter off and on since 2018. I've not been active for almost 5 years during which time I've worked as a freelance researcher on almost a full-time basis. The demand for that work is shifting and I want to return to dog/house-sitting to supplement my income. I am comfortable walking, visiting and house-sitting small- and medium-size dogs, including senior dogs, and am experienced with giving medicine. I have a BS in Business Administration and 30+ years of work experience in the legal services industry. I am a mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. I love to walk outside, grill, and sit beside a fire. I'm an SEC fan, so fall is my favorite time of year! I want to acknowledge the one negative client review regarding a client's senior dog. I was hired for drop-in visits . I let time get away from me for two visits. One of the things that Rover does well is notify dog owners know when their sitter/carer is onsite. The owner notified me when I did not arrive within a reasonable time of the scheduled time and I immediately went to the client site. The dog was fine but the owner was obviously alarmed and terminated the relationship. I take full responsibility for those lapses and they will not happen again. I ask for the opportunity to meet you and your pet and discuss if this is a good fit for us all. Kind regards, Suzanne I am a freelance researcher and work remotely from home. I have full schedule flexibility enabling me to meet your pets' daily schedule for feeding and walks. I am able to be present in my client's home throughout the day and night, available to your pet(s) as needed. I enjoy taking them for walk, playing with them and cuddling with them. I'm generally good with letting them sleep with me, depending on their size and temperament.
“Sam was absolutely perfect with our pets and our home. Everyone was happy when we got back and Sam even left a light on for us as we were returning after dark. Highly recommend him to take care of your pets and home. He’s such a calm presence that even our high strung Chinese Crested took to him in no time.”

“Stephanie was AMAZING! She was very proactive in setting up a meet and greet beforehand and asked questions that helped us get to know her. She kept us updated the whole time on how he was and sent photos and pictures to us. She even filmed our pup opening his Christmas gift since we were away for the holiday. Went we came back our house was just as we left it and clean. She even put our recycling and trash at the curb for us. She also left a note and cute little chalkboard for when we got home. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Allyson was amazing taking care of our furry baby!! She sent photos and gave us updates. We are happy to have her care for our Eli whenever she is available! Thank you Allyson!!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace
Great experience! This was our first time using Rover and Robyn & Steven were extremely helpful asking us pertinent questions about our dogs, what needs we have and any special circumstances for each dog. I felt very comfortable working with them and enjoyed the experience. We were provided daily updates and photos/videos of the dogs. Both dogs were very relaxed and excited to see us when they came home. Robyn and Steven took care of the space and were very respectful. I will definitely work with them again!

Dana watched our dogs for us while out of town over the holidays & I can’t say enough great things! Great communication, lots of pictures, & she was so kind & caring. Not only did she take good care of our dogs, but also our home. Highly recommend & hoping she’s available the next time we travel!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace on Rover is $42.8 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
