“Tabitha is an incredible sitter and companion for my dog Scout. I can see the care and detail she takes in playing with him and making him feel important. I travel a lot for work and it’s just me so it’s always stressful knowing I have to leave my dog behind. But I’m always assured he’s in great hands with Tabitha. Thank you for all that you do. It truly matters.”

About: As an avid animal lover, I've had extensive experience taking care of various pets of all ages and sizes. My experience ranges from the more common dogs and cats to birds, hedgehogs, lizards, horses, fish, etc. I've been fortunate enough to care for pets of my own and been entrusted with the care of pets belonging to friends and extended family. I've also had the opportunity to spend over a decade volunteering at animal shelters in central Maryland. As someone who has used Rover previously for petsitting services myself, I understand how nerve wracking it can feel to leave your loved one in the hands of someone new. You can rest assured that I will provide the same love and devotion to your pets as I do my own :) If you're interested in booking any services with me, I would love to do a meet and greet with you and your pets. This allows me to get acquainted with everyone and have a full understanding of their needs, habits and schedule to ensure the most positive experience for them. My schedule is open so I'm able to provide much more flexibility to accommodate your schedule and your pet's needs! Please see my calendar for specific availability :) While in my care, I can provide pictures and updates on how your pets are doing as often as you would like! Prior to providing any services, I would also love to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet(s) prior to providing any services. This will allow me the chance to meet your pet(s) with you present and gain a full understanding of their needs, including dietary and medical (if applicable), habits and any preferences they may have. I will be sure to carefully follow all your instructions so I can ensure your pets have the safest, happiest time in my care :)

About: I use to pet sit for my neighbors for about 4-5 months out of the year from middle school until I left for undergrad. i’ve personally had cats, puppies, and senior dogs in my care. I’m even experienced with administering injectable medications to dogs, such as insulin shots. I’m currently a graduate student on my summer break, so my schedule is about as flexible as it can get! I’m looking to spend ore time with animals while also getting in some activity! I have a fenced in backyard and am also about a 5 minute walk from the closest dog park. I have one female miniature dachshund that is a year old and extremely friendly. Our townhome is set up to accommodate dogs with short legs and long back, as we have many miniature stairs everywhere to prevent jumping. I can also be home all day to look after the dogs while my spouse also works from home to add another pair of supervising eyes.

“I never had a need to have someone else walk Greta before. She is energetic and loves to explore on hour long walks, so I had concerns about someone being able to handle her. Simon was outstanding and indulged Greta's inclinations to wander different paths around the area. I would highly recommend Simon!”

“I’m so thankful for Emily! She was scheduled to walk my boy one night and house sit the next night. She was really caring and wanting to make sure she took care of him well as he’s a senior dog. She came down with a bug before the second night and she found a solution so that his care was seamless. Her husband, a fellow Rover sitter, came over and my boy was well taken care of while I was away both nights. Emily is very professional and won’t let you down. Thanks again Emily :)”

Jermya W.
“There are few people I’d trust with something as precious as my poodle, but Jermya. is one of them. She has the kind of gentle, intuitive spirit that animals just gravitate toward. From the moment they met, my pup felt safe with her, and that means everything to me. Jermya doesn’t just “watch” pets, she loves them. She talks to them, plays with them, and understands their quirks. She gave my dog all the love, care, and attention I could have hoped for, and honestly, it brought me so much peace. I got regular updates, sweet pictures, and little stories that showed just how present and attentive she truly is. If you’re nervous about leaving your pet, Jermya is the person who will ease that fear. She’s not doing this just because she can, she’s doing it because she genuinely loves animals. And it shows in every little thing she does.”
