“Nikohl took care of Rosie, our young rescue cat over two long weekends this summer and I can't recommend her highly enough! Nikohl stopped by every day to feed and play with Rosie. She sent us updates and pictures and took the time to interact and bond with Rosie -- not easy to do in a short space of time with a cat! We will definitely be calling Nikohl when we're out of town next!”

“Alex was awesome and helped me get the pups out at my work while I had a day in the field. One of my pups needs medication, and he had no problem helping with that as well! Super appreciated his kindness!”

About: I pride myself in being able to bond with any animal. I love all breeds of dogs, and I understand that a key aspect to their behavior is their exercise, diet, and social interactions. By choosing me, you are guaranteeing that you dog is getting the proper amount of exercise and social engagement. My own dogs do not go on just walks, but outings that always include them meeting other dogs and socializing, making for a happier, healthier, and friendlier pet. I have been around dogs since I was 7. I was given my first dog to take care of at 11, a German Shepherd, and I had him for 12 years. He was never crated, and walked at least once a day to ensure he wasn’t cooped up. I work from home as a marketing / social media manager, which gives me ample time to take any clients pet out as I am on a looser schedule and can accommodate to the pet versus the pet moulding to my schedule. I have my own room, as well as a full backyard to use for any dog. I will let them stay within my room if need be, as well and within my entire house if they are good with other dogs.

“It was a joy to have Anjelica watch our cat! She sent detailed updates and lots of photos, which helps ease any worries I have when I’m away. It was clear our cat was not only taken care of but also adored while we were away. I highly recommend her!”

About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.

About: I have taken care of dogs for family friends since I was in high school. I was responsible for walking, feeding and playing with them. There was one family I worked for when I was in college who fostered dogs so while they were away during the day at work I would go over for a few hours just to play and give them the TLC they needed to get better. I just moved to Vail for a job. I typically work during the week M-F 8am-6pm with weekends off. I do on occasion have to work a few weekends but will have that indicated on my availability. I will treat clients belongings with respect and give their dog tender loving care doing the specific task I’m assigned like walking or feeding them.

“Jordan is fantastic taking care of my kitties while I needed to go out of town. All my of my kitties enjoyed having her come and give them attention while taking care of their daily needs. Superb job and would hire again!”

About: I have been caring for various pets for family, friends, neighbors, and strangers alike. I enjoy dogs the most, but have taken care of cats, lizards, snakes, and many plants as well. I have taken care of older dogs who have special requirments. I am free after 4:00pm most nights, although my schedual is subject to change. I can check quicky on pets most afternoons, if located near me. Other needs can be discussed if necessary. I follow whatever the animal and the home needs. I believe in positive behavior learning, treats, and loving pets. I prefer to care for animals in the saftey of their own home while their loved ones are away. I expect the animals I care for be well trained...I do not want to feel scared around an untrained dog when their owners are not home.

About: I have over 20 years of experience and will love them as my own. Walking, playing, and animal massages are my passions. I'm a massage therapist with deep intuition and compassion for all. I also love to exercise, so I can get your dog in shape if they need it. I'm a massage therapist who sets my schedule. I'll be sure to have energy, love, patience, and respect. I have no kids, pets, or urgent obligations that would leave your pet ignored or deserted in any way. I have a background in kinesiology that helps with knowing the anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics of dogs. I have many family, friends, and coworkers who trust me with their pets and kids. I take my word and work seriously. It's the only thing I have. I'm aware of all the laws of walking dogs and dog park etiquette. Never been bitten or scared in any way.
