“Our pup loved staying at Jana &Colten’s place! I really appreciated that halfway through the day, she sent me pictures of him and updated me that he was doing well. He is on a shy side, so I appreciated Jana’s gentle energy when we dropped him off :) we would definitely rebook, and I think our dog enjoyed his time with them.”

“Joan set the bar for Rover sitters! I’ve never had someone so attentive and thoughtful care for my dog before. She sent updates, videos and pictures throughout the entire stay, making me so confident my dog was having the best time out and about exploring with her. I could not recommend her enough and wish I had could bring her back to Phoenix with us as our full time dog sitter!”

“Karen was an absolute lifesaver for us! We had friends visiting with their kids, and managing two dogs on top of everything would have been a lot, so having Bondi stay with her for a few days made all the difference. Karen kept us completely at ease by posting frequent updates and sharing lots of photos. From every picture, it was clear that Bondi was having the best time and getting so much love and attention. It really meant a lot to see how happy and comfortable he was while we were away. We’re so grateful for the care she gave Bondi and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. I highly recommend Karen to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring to look after their pup!”

“Tania and her daughter took great care of Bandit for a full week. We received frequent notes and pictures. He had a lot of walks. He loved playing with their dogs and was treated like part of the family.”

“Jana & Colten were amazing! We were in vail skiing for the day, she picked Levi up at the beginning of the day and dropped him off once we were done skiing. She was a great communicator and sent lots of adorable photos throughout the day. They got him out for lots of exercise so he was nice and exhausted once we got home. I had never left my dog with a stranger before but he took to her so well and jumped right into her car, I was shocked! Colten and Jana are such a sweet kind caring couple I knew he was in great hands! We will be using them every time we come up skiing! Thank you!!”

About: I have a lifelong love for animals and hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats at every stage of life. I’ve owned two dogs, both rescues that I fostered and then adopted. One was a German Shepherd mix who lived a full, happy life to the age of 12, and the other is a mixed-breed terrier who is still thriving with me at nearly 9 years old. My experience includes caring for puppies and kittens, as well as senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I’m also comfortable supporting animals with medical needs, including managing conditions like diabetes. I understand how important it is to provide not just basic care, but also love, consistency, and a calm, attentive presence. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. I’m able to maintain flexible scheduling, regular check-ins, and plenty of companionship for pets who prefer not to be alone for long periods. I live just a couple of hundred yards from a hiking trail, so daily walks and outdoor time are a natural part of my routine. With my own small terrier, I’m already out walking and hiking regularly, and I love including other dogs in those adventures when appropriate. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. While I do have an unfenced yard, I will always be present and closely supervise any outdoor time. Off-leash potty breaks will only be done with your permission and for pets who are comfortable and reliable in that setting. For added safety, all walks beyond the yard, whether around the neighborhood or on nearby hiking trails will always be done on leash unless permissions provided for off-leash exercise by owner. I stay attentive, aware of surroundings, and committed to keeping your pet secure, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.
“Kristen, Scott, and their son were wonderful with our pups while my husband and I skied for the day. They sent lots of photos, took them on a walk in the snow, and loved playing with their pup Nittany.”

“Ryan was wonderful with our 1 year old dog. He was attentive, easy to communicate with, and made our dog feel right at home. Moreover, he would send us pictures and videos throughout the day to let us know that our dog was doing well in his new surroundings. Lastly, he has a very sweet dog that our dog loved and seemed to bond with almost instantly. Would definitely book with Ryan again!”

About: Helping care for pets is especially meaningful to me because my own pets are an extension of who I am. From outdoor adventures to cozy cuddles, I treat every furry friend like family and love keeping owners updated along the way. My dogs get walked twice a day and let out midday, we would rather be outside. I usually get out earlier in the morning due to the heat! I manage dogs in my home and in others’ homes with a balance of freedom, structure, and respect. In my own space, dogs have free range with a few furniture boundaries, constant access to fresh water, and regular bathroom breaks. When caring for pets in another home, I strictly follow all homeowner rules and routines to ensure pets feel comfortable and consistency is maintained.
About: I'm reliable, fun, loving, and have experience with dog sitting for 6 years. I have helped out with dog sitting for neighbor's, friend's, and my own family's dogs. I can take pets on walks, pick them up from appointments and take care of them at their homes too. I have always treated my labradoodles like they are my children. I grew up pampering and caring for them more than most do. I am very loving with pets, treat them with respect , and will always prioritize their well-being.
“Christian was such a great communicator! He was so helpful for us when we needed a sitter last minute. He took our dog for a 3 mile walk when we were gone and she had such a great day. Would highly recommend!”

About: I have a super senior 17 year old min pin mix who is spoiled and in perfect health; something I'm very proud of! Growing up I had cats and reptiles and am comfortable with taking care of all four legged or no legged animals ! I am the go to person for pet advice and always pet sit for my friends and family. I am flexible with scheduling with enough notice! I split my time between Vail and Denver, and offer my services both places. My place in the mountains has a small fenced yard. With ample notice I can accommodate your busy schedule. My apartment is pet proof, child free, and I have linoleum floors and a couple of rugs. I own a carpet shampooer and a steam cleaner so nothing phases me and I keep everything sanitary. Fur babies are allowed everywhere and I mainly clean with green and safe products. I have a crate and can crate your pet if needed. I am also comfortable with medication administration and know all the emergency vet hospitals near by. I believe it's important to send updates and pictures, because to me, pets are just as important as human children.

“You we awesome! You got Kya out and she has NEVER done that with a stranger before! We will for sure be using Alex in the future and I would highly recommend him to all my fur baby humans out there!”

About: I've been raised around dogs, cats, chickens, peacocks, goats and other fluffy beings. Although I'm from the country side, I've had my fair share of suburban pet care as well. I used to own a high energy catahoula/lab mix that I would take on walks everyday. I found that using a gentle leader was a huge help. Sometimes I feel like I connect more to animals than humans! I've done training in equestrian massage (which can transfer to dogs.) I have a special place in my heart for four-legged beings. I work as a massage therapist, but with the winter season over, I have more free time! I'm flexible and easy going. Spending my days with a pup would be a dream! I live in a dog friendly neighborhood, and right by a trail where I see dogs walking all the time. When I'm not walking them, we'll be chasing balls at the park! I believe every dog needs a place to get all their energy out, and move their bodies. I can ensure they will get proper exercise.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for most of my life. I enjoy sitting other people’s pets and playing with them. I have a heart for animals. I can’t wait to meet your pets! I have a fenced in backyard that my two dogs and cat love to mess around in. I know what it takes to love and care for a pet. Your pet will be treated as my own!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs majority of my life. Growing up I’be had 3 husky mix breeds all coming from animal shelters. I have always had the responsibility of taking them on walks, playing with them and feeding them. In high school I also volunteered at the animal shelter near me and took care of all the dogs and cats there. I recently also became a loving cat owner and just moved to the area. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon. I recently moved to the Vail area and am working with Vail resorts. I will be working Monday- Saturday from 9am-6 with a day off during the week. I am open to doing dog walks, house checks, letting your dog out or caring for your cat before work, during my lunch break and at any hours after work and any days I have off. I am open to caring for your pet on your home, in whichever way makes you the comfortable.

About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.
“Mackenzie was outstanding as she was on time, provided great updates and pictures for each walk. If we come back to Avon again, I’ll be making sure to book her ahead of time. She took great care of our special needs dog who is in doggie wheels and was very understanding of our dogs limitations. We sure do appreciate you Mackenzie! 🐾🐾❤️”

“Thanks to Corrie our outing was great! She walked our little dog and kept him company while my husband and I enjoyed the sights. Will definitely use her again next time we are in Vail.”

“Jade is the best! We have a very high-maintenance Belgian Malinois who is not a fan of strangers, so finding the right person was incredibly important to us. Jade went completely above and beyond by doing multiple meetings to make sure he felt safe and comfortable with her. Her patience, calm demeanor, and gentle approach made all the difference. She truly took the time to understand his personality and earned his trust at his pace — something that does not come easily with him. We feel so lucky to have found her and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone. Thank you for going the extra mile in every possible way!”

“Do not look any further. Stop. Hire Karen, now. We were in the Vail area for a week over Thanksgiving and Karen watched our two labs for 5 days and we could not be any happier!!! She was amazing. Our dogs were taken on multiple walks, hikes, and outings per day. They went sledding and shared videos of our puppy pulling the sled. We got multiple pictures, texts, and videos during the day to keep us posted and they were always walking, playing, or snuggly WITH Karen on the couch and good Lord it was cute!! She is an all-star and you couldn't ask for a better fur baby sitter. My kids wanted to give her five bajillioon stars, but it wasn't an option. She's the best!”

“Brad does a great job. He’s super friendly, reliable and awesome with our two dogs. His schedule is flexible and he’s able to accommodate last minute walks. I would highly recommend Brad!”

About: I’ve lived and cared for animals since I was 8 years old, starting with dogs and rats, to even birds and cats! Im a huge animal lover and super patient with my fur babies. I’m working a part-time job about 4 days a week so I‘ve had a lot of free-time for doggie walks and pet sits! It is best to reach me by my phone number or through the app so we can figure out a time that works between us. I have an apartment in Avon Colorado with an outdoor area for walks and a balcony to rest on. It’s spacious inside for a large bed and toys as well!

“Joan set the bar for Rover sitters! I’ve never had someone so attentive and thoughtful care for my dog before. She sent updates, videos and pictures throughout the entire stay, making me so confident my dog was having the best time out and about exploring with her.

About: Kaylie grew up in a busy, animal-filled home—surrounded by everything from dogs and cats to bunnies and guinea pigs. Axel grew up with dogs and cats of his own. While we don't have any fur babies of our own currently, we loveee animals! We've spent the last few years pet-sitting in people's homes through other platforms to get our "furry fix." We currently maintain a 5-star rating with glowing reviews from our previous house and pet sits, and we'd be more than happy to share those details with you! Your pet will have plenty of company here! Axel and I both work remotely, so someone is always home to provide attention and companionship throughout the work day. We love to stay active and naturally break up our tasks with frequent walks. Whether your dog prefers a gentle stroll or a more rigorous hike, we’re happy to tailor our activity level to their needs—including longer adventures after the work day is done. We are located right on the Eagle Valley bike path, which serves as our massive "extended backyard!" While we don't have a fenced yard, our active lifestyle means your dog will never be bored with multiple dedicated outings throughout the day tailored to their energy level.. We specialize in "on-the-go" care, taking full advantage of the nearby paths, hiking trails, and park for long walks, fetch sessions, and fresh air. Your pet will enjoy a fun stay with constant companionship and plenty of variety.
“John is an excellent dog sitter. Super communicative and he was so kind and caring with my dog. He was very diligent about getting my dog out for his walks and sent tons of pictures as well. Highly recommend and I will definitely be using John as a sitter again in the future.”

“Jen and her family were a delight to work with! They integrated our dog right into their family activities and he was happy and well-rested when I picked him up. I’d hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“Marina did an amazing job taking care of our sheepdog, Leo. He was exercised on trails (his favorite place to be) every day. She kept us updated with pictures and videos. She was accommodating to all of his funny sheepdog quirks. Leo would highly recommend Marina (and her husband Tom)!”

“Absolutely amazing! Cori was so welcoming and kind to my dogs. It was my first time using Rover and Cori was beyond helpful. I dropped my dogs off with her to undergo a surgery in Denver and Cori was absolutely fantastic with communication and posted updates on how much fun the dogs were having. It was really a huge stress taken off my shoulder. Her place seemed perfect for active dogs like mine with a good trail very close by.”

“We needed someone to keep our dog for the night while we went to a concert in Vail. Lola was so happy at Erin’s with both of her pups, lots of walks, a big fenced yard, and another rover pup to play with. We are so thankful and would absolutely use Erin to watch Lola again in the future.”

“Sue did not shy away from watching our young puppy for 10 days. She sent us updates, worked to help her socialize, and dealt with puppy potty training accidents. We are very grateful for the care she provided!”

“Jenna took such good care of my dog, taking him on a great hike for the day I needed her to watch him (even with a short notice of needing her sitting help) Very happy and would recommend!”

“Thank you Brad, you saved the day with our last minute booking! I know the Doobs had fun when he sleeps the whole day after his stay! It was a pleasure meeting you, will use you again in the future and do highly recommend you to other river users! Next time I promise to give you more of a heads up! Thanks again!”

“Ken was even better than I could have hoped for. He took Nerf on a lot of walks, to meet and play with other dogs, and went above and beyond to give Nerf a great weekend.”

About: I've grown up around dogs and had my own for almost 10 years. Just because he is gone, doesn't mean I can't help others when they need it. I'm one of those people that walk into a dog park and get surrounded by the pack. I adore them! As of right now, I have all the time in the world to care for and look after all the fuzzy critters. I appreciate all animals, no matter what the species. I currently live in West Vail, not far from the dog park so lots of playtime throughout the day. I love hiking and long walks to clear the mind.
“I'd be happy to help! Here's a friendlier version of the I booked this place last minute and the host was amazing! They were really communicative and sweet. My dog Harley loved his stay, and the location was super convenient for getting to and from the mountain. We even got to explore some fresh powder while I was snowboarding. It was a great experience overall!”

“Bridget is incredible! She took excellent care of my high energy dog and send lots of updates. Bridget was very accommodating and flexible with my flight delays. Highly recommend!!”
