“Other than our miscommunication about the arrival time (it was our first time having Ryan stay with the kids) he took great care of our Big Easy & Winnie! Thank you 🩵”

About: I tested myself with my first dog at age 12, now with both sisters starting to become seniors, I have had experience with all age groups of dogs and cats. On top of that I have pet sat many dogs including 7 bull dogs at a time, which required much attention due to their high maintenance nature. I would mainly be doing this in the mornings and afternoons, as I have part time job and a student. But I am open to some weekends. I make sure my dog is walked on a daily basis both day and night making sure she lets everything out before going in, I also stay on top of feeding and taking care of her.
“Allexus was great with taking care of our dogs! She made sure that they were fed on time and that they went to the bathroom when needed! Def recommend her to house sit your pets.”

“I highly recommend Jennifer. She is responsible, pleasant, articulate and was great with my dog, Willie. Willie is on daily medicine and a supplement. He also can be anxious about being left behind/alone. She took great care of him! She checked rather than assumed she knew what to do when something came up. I will be looking to have her as a house/dog sitter again.”

About: My experience being solely responsible for pets and playing with pups ranges all the way back to when I was in elementary school about ~25 years ago. Over all the years many friends and family members have asked me to watch their pets in several capacities. This could be for just a few days to somewhere around 10-14 days. Taking their pets to my home, stopping by theirs a few times a day, or just taking them out on a whim when needed. I wanted to extend the same courtesy to my neighbors. When I learned what boarding rates were I couldn’t believe it. I’m in this more to help folks out who need the assistance (especially in a pinch) than I am to derive any form of surmountable income. I am retired from the United States Army and care more about helping/leading others than I do profiteering from them. Being retired and working part-time, I find myself with lot of time and availability to help those who need it, especially in a pinch. I never find myself meeting a pet I don’t click with almost immediately, so I am open to taking on new pups, felines, and of course their caring owners. Once an initial conversation is had it’s very easy to fit the mold of a pet’s routine and/or preferences. Please let me know how I can best assist you and your loved ones.
“I was so nervous to leave my dogs with a stranger for the first time but Patricia was everything I could have asked for. She was very professional and even came over to meet the dogs before hand. She sent me pictures everyday of my pets which made me feel so much better. I would definitely use her again!”

“Blair took wonderful care of my dog Ollie while pet sitting this past weekend. I received sweet pictures and updates about him while I was away and my house was well kept and clean upon my return as well! Highly recommend to anyone around the Tampa area who needs a quality dog sitter while they’re away!”

About: I have a cat at home. I grew up raising an old lab and a young energetic cockapoo. My sisters also had 3 dogs (golden retriever, yorkie, english spaniel), 5 cats, and 8 chickens that I pet sat frequently. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and ages and love caring for all of them 🫶 I am in Tampa on a clinical rotation for part of my Doctorate or Physical Therapy program. I had to leave my cat at home while i’m here so i miss my baby! I love cats and small dogs and would love to help take care of yours while i’m missing mine! I am a vegetarian and could never imagine hurting an animal much less a pet. I care for all pets like they are apart of my own family.

“I had such a great experience with Kiran! She kept me updated throughout the day and sent lots of pictures of Franklin, which I really appreciated. It gave me so much reassurance seeing how happy and comfortable he was. She was very responsive and even accommodated having a friend pick him up, which made everything super easy. She took him on long walks, played with him, and made sure he was entertained and well cared for the entire time. It truly gave me peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands while I was away on vacation. I would absolutely book with her again.”

“Zachariah did a fantastic job taking care of my large dog and 2 cats. Couldn’t have asked for a more professional experience and he left my house looks spotless. Would recommend his services to anyone!”

“Ambria was amazing at watching my dogs over the holidays! She checked in multiple times a day, sent lots of pictures, and the dogs seemed really happy/well taken care of. She left the house spotless and I am looking forward to using her in the future!”

“Alex did great with my boys. They were happy and she helped with my little guys medication. My dane is over 100 pounds and a playful puppy. She kept good communication and was super helpful. We'll definitely book with Alex again.”

“Carly did a fantastic job persisting both our cat and dog. She dropped in once a day with our cat and came multiple times to spend time with our 12 year old out. We couldn’t be happier with the service she provided to both pets”

“Rachel stepped in on a very short notice since I had to leave for a family medical emergency. Snum absolutely loves Rachel. She is so helpful, trustworthy and easy to communicate with. Can’t thank her enough.”

“Hailey was so amazing with my baby Storm! I had to leave out of town last minute for the 4th of July and she quickly responded to my request! We met up the next day so she could meet Storm and she even brought her a toy 🥹🥹. When I was away she would update me daily and at multiple times throughout the day so I could be at ease. Storm has a lot of attachment anxiety and doesn’t like yo be alone so Hailey was very good about not leaving her! I 100% recommend her and will be rebooking her soon!”

About: Growing up surrounded by 3 dogs and various small animals, I’ve developed a lifelong passion for caring for our furry friends. From grooming, to walks, feeding, and providing love, animal care has always felt second nature to me. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, and my own dog’s unique needs—extreme separation anxiety—have deepened my understanding and compassion for pets with special requirements. In addition to my dog care experience, I’ve also cared for a variety of small animals, including fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and even ducks! I believe every animal deserves love and attention, and I treat each one as if they were my own. Professionally, I work as an Executive Assistant, where I manage schedules, coordinate logistics, and handle high levels of responsibility and organization every day. That same reliability, attention to detail, and communication carries over into the care I provide for pets and their owners. I understand how important trust and consistency are when leaving your pets in someone else’s hands. My commitment to animal welfare extends beyond pet care. I’ve actively volunteered at shelters and organized food drives to support animals in need. If you’re looking for someone who is not only trustworthy but also passionate about providing the best care for your beloved pets, I’m here to help. I work in St. Pete about 3-4 times a week in office and work from home in Tampa the other days. My schedule is flexible. For the weekends I have no set commitments making me extremely flexible. I treat every client’s home with the same respect and care that I would my own. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for both your pets and your home. I always make sure doors are locked, instructions are followed carefully, and your space is kept clean, safe, and organized while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable knowing your pets are in good hands.

About: I’ve had many different kinds of dogs my entire life, including very large dogs, very small dogs, puppies under 8 weeks old, and elder dogs. I’ve taken care of many neighbors’ and friends’ pets. I adore cats and spend lots of time taking care of my friends and family’s cats as well. I am also experienced in caring for different types of fish. I plan to work part time over this summer, so I will have a generally open schedule minus a few hours on weekdays. I am able to walk, pet sit, or house sit during any time of the day outside of those few hours. I have lots of experience handling very large dogs (Great Dane, Mastiff, etc.), but also with very small, teacup dogs too. I have experience with and am able to handle very young puppies, as well as elder dogs. I am willing to run around and play for however long needed to get some energy out for you with the more active dogs, or just sit and give some love and pets to the calmer ones. I also have lots of experience handling more anxious dogs.
Beach Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Patricia was wonderful! This was my first time using Rover and the whole process was great. The meet and greet gives you a chance to interview each other to make sure you have a good fit. My pup seemed very happy and Patricia provided lots of pictures throughout her stay.

David stayed with our boys this weekend and he was wonderful. Stayed in touch and kept us informed. Was the perfect houseguest and we came home to happy fur babies and a house that was in the same condition that we left it in. We will be using David again in the near future and I am truly happy that we found someone so caring and genuine.

Allexus took the best care of Myles. He’s an older pup so he is particular about being left behind. Allexus was attentive to Myles need for affection and his medical needs. When we got home it was like we never left as his demeanor was calm and happy ! Already booked her again!
Kailee was amazing! This is our first pet sitter for Ruby and we are so lucky to have found her! She has calm energy which made Ruby feel at ease. She asked questions and followed all of our direction with Rubys schedule. Plenty of updates to help this dog mom not worry so much. Thanks again Kailee

Teagan took great care of my cats while I was away. Working with her was a breeze - communication was easy, thorough, and thoughtful throughout my trip. I received regular updates and pictures, and knowing my cats were so well cared for made traveling much easier. I would highly recommend Teagan for your pet-sitting needs! 😊

Christie is amazing!! She has become a member of our pup’s pack and cared for him like he was her own. She was incredibly respectful of our home and took care of it so well, which we were so grateful for after coming home from a long trip. I would recommend her to ANYONE! If we could give her 10 stars we would!

I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Monique. From start to finish, she went above and beyond in every possible way. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a pet sitter. She made sure my dog felt completely safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. You can truly tell she has a natural connection with animals and treats them as if they were her own. My dog can be a little particular, and she handled everything with so much patience, care, and attention to detail. My dog loves her 🤩 What I appreciated the most was her communication — she kept me updated throughout the day with messages, photos, and little updates that gave me so much peace of mind. I never once felt worried because I knew my dog was in the best hands. She was also incredibly reliable, punctual, and respectful of my home. Everything was exactly as I left it (if not better!), and she followed all instructions perfectly. It’s not easy to find someone you can fully trust with your pet, but she exceeded all expectations. I would 100% book her again and again without hesitation and highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone truly exceptional. Thank you so much again for taking such incredible care of my baby! 💛

We are so appreciative of Blair coming to watch our dog Loko! He is a senior dog and has some special needs, but he absolutely loved hanging out with her (he told me himself). She literally is a lifesaver I don’t know what we would do without her! Highly recommend, she even sends photo updates! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
