Nice to meet you! My name is Ashley and I cannot wait to host your pet! I am equipped with 9 years of experience as a veterinary technician and I have been doing Rover since 2016. Because most of my work is done from home I have lots of free time to spend with your fur baby. A little about my home: I believe the whole point of Rover is to not have your dog in a kennel or facility setting so I aim to make your pet feel at home and cozy! We have 2 dogs of our own. Our boys (dogs) have been doing Rover with me since they were pups and are always excited to meet a new friend! We have extra beds, bowls, and crates if needed. I know it can be hard to make the choice of who to trust with your baby while your away but heres a few reasons to book with me: - I have the work experience AND education as a veterinary technician. - I am trained to administer medication (pills, injections etc.), first aid, CPR. - Trained to deal with many different pet personalities, disabilities, etc! - Daily check ins from me so you know how your pet is doing during their stay. - Your pet will stay in the home with us (not a kennel setting) and will feel included! -We do allow pets in the bed with us! And if they aren't bed sleepers we keep a pallet of extra beds so they can sleep in the room with us. - 4 dog parks within my neighborhood to play in! - Extra bowls, crates, and beds if needed. - Daily walks and occasional trips to our community dog park (if your pup is very active and enjoys!). - Frequent potty breaks (every 2-4 hours). - Most of my work and day is spent at home so lots of love, pets, and cuddles! - For kitties (or even particular pups) if they prefer we have a separate room dedicated to our guest pets. - If I ever do leave the home for a short time music for pups is played for them to enjoy. - Pup cameras are all around so I can always keep an eye out even if im in another room! *In order to keep my home a safe place, we do not accept and aggressive dogs. *Pets must be potty trained! * No destructive pups. * Pups must be well leash trained. * some times can be busier than others, it’s best if your pup does well in group settings overall.

Ashley took good care of my older cat and I appreciate the time she spent with her while she dropped in for feedings and medication.
Ashley was amazing, she took care of our doodles like they were her own. Had great communication daily about how they were doing with pics. Allowed us to enjoy our cruise knowing they were in great hands. Will be a repeat customer.

Schedule
We typically get up and make sure everyone gets breakfast and a potty break between 8-9am and after that it’s play time! If your pet likes we go out for a good walk. Throughout the day we do lots of potty breaks and theres lots of toys to play with. Dinner typically happens between 6-7 pm and we settle in for bed and last potty for the night around 9-10 pm.

In my home: We only host friendly and non aggressive pups to make sure it’s always a good time for our guest pups. We have a cage free environment (unless this is something you prefer and regularly use at home). And we aim to be sure pups feel relaxed, at home, and have fun. In your home: I try to keep things as close to your routine as possible! and will discuss expectations of each visit before starting.

I live in a big pet-friendly neighborhood, with lots of places for walking and 4 dog parks in our community alone! You can rest assured your fur baby will be receiving the best care, with frequent walks/outside time, and constant attention.
