“Kymry is the best! Our Sushi has visited her a number of times now, and it's always perfect. She really cares for her guests – that's obvious. But she also runs her Rover business like a business. She is always incredibly responsive, sends updates, and reassure us about how our little guy is doing. We are so happy we found her!”

“Boarding Tucker with Chen was a delight. She kept me informed with plenty of photos and messages about how he was doing and I was assured that he was safe and loved while he was with her.”

“Chris took great care of our Loki for a few days. Chris has a great set up to meet any dog’s needs and seems very aware of dog behavior. He was great about letting Loki get comfortable and then meeting the dogs for playtime. We got daily pictures and videos, which we appreciate! Loki loved his time at Chris’ house and hopes to come back soon to see Evelyn.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Leo received during his 12-day stay. Leaving your dog for that long can be stressful, but we had complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Leo was well cared for, loved, and treated like part of the family. We received updates, and it was clear that his happiness and well-being were a top priority. Thank you for taking such great care of our boy. We highly recommend you to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

About: I've been caring for pets for over 10 years through different stages of my life. I cared for a rescued blue cat for 5 years, later cared for two rescued dogs for 4 years, and most recently cared for a Shiba Inu for 1 year. Living with these pets taught me that every animal has its own personality, emotions, and routines. To me, dogs are a lot like children—they need love, patience, attention, and a sense of security. Building trust with them is just as important as meeting their daily needs. I always take the time to understand each dog's habits and follow the owner's routine as closely as possible. Whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I'll make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring hands. I have a pretty flexible schedule, so I can spend lots of time with your dog instead of just stopping by for a quick visit. I enjoy going for walks, so if your dog likes being outside, we'll have a great time together. If they're more of a couch potato, that's totally fine too—I’m happy to relax with them and keep them company. I know every dog has its own routine, so I'll do my best to stick to what they're used to. My goal is simple: help your dog feel safe, happy, and as comfortable as possible until you're back.Dogs aren't just pets—they're family, and they deserve love, patience, and companionship every day. Your pet's safety and comfort always come first. I'll follow your instructions as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and their daily routine. At home, I'll make sure the space is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, with plenty of fresh water and a comfortable place to rest. During walks, I'll always keep dogs on a leash unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. I'll also send regular photos and updates, because I know how much you miss them when you're away. My goal is to care for your pet the same way I'd want someone to care for my own.
“Sandra and her beautiful family were amazing with Niko. He got an upset stomach and she immediately contacted me. I told her what to do to help Niko with his upset stomach and she kept me up to date with his recuperation. Niko is a very loving and cuddly dog which fit perfectly with her and her teenage kids. Niko got attached fast to one of them and loved the rest of the family as well. I am very happy with her care”

"I had a wonderful experience with this dog sitter. My dog was well cared for, happy, and comfortable throughout the stay. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos that gave me peace of mind. I would definitely use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care."

Our Bruno was very well cared for with Michael and Rinrada. He loved playing and snuggling with them. It was our first time leaving him and they were so communicative to send me frequent updates, pictures and videos. Bruno was so comfortable with them and their dog Blaise. We would definitely leave him with them again.

Taryn was absolutely amazing with Kahlua! From the moment we booked, she was attentive, communicative, and so reassuring. She gave the best updates with pictures throughout the day which meant so much to me, especially since Kahlua struggles with anxiety. It was clear that Taryn gave her so much love, patience, and attention. You can truly tell she cares about the dogs she watches. I felt completely at peace knowing Kahlua was in such good hands. I would 1000% book her again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Bay Hill home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Bay Hill.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Bay Hill sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
