About: I have had dogs my entire life. I've cared for dogs with medical challenges and disabilities and my own dog, Harold, is paralyzed in his rear end. Your dogs will be a part of our family for the time they stay with me. I work mostly from home but may go to the office a few days a week for a few hours. I run in the morning, if your dog is athletic they will come with, or go out for a mellow walk in the morning. I live in a quiet neighborhood behind a park where the dogs can run and walk. I care for dogs in my home. The house has a fenced back yard and we can take trips to dog parks, if your dog is into that. I have two dogs (a lab and a chihuahua mix) so your dog will have dog buddies to play with.

After searching through hundreds of Rover profiles I finally found Margaret and I'm so glad I did! We had a lovely phone chat about Max and his behaviors as well as the style of training/handling we prefer (she is familiar with and willing to work with all sorts of styles). After our chat we setup a meet and greet and Max did so well with her from the get go - not even a peep out of him when they met! He quickly bonded with her and was more than happy to work with her right off the bat. She even had him meet some of her dogs (which he handled well too!). It was clear Margaret knew exactly what she was doing and had the confidence to put Max (and me!) at ease. After the meet and greet we setup an overnight boarding session to really see how Max would do - and it went so well! Margaret was incredibly communicative and gave us updates as she slowly introduced Max to her other dogs, took him on walks, and just generally kept us informed how he was handling his new environment. I was extremely impressed with how smoothly everything went and I felt so comfortable knowing Max was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Margaret for any sort of "special needs" dogs in a heartbeat! Your dog is in safe and caring hands.”

Jie was wonderful in her care of our dog Bear who is very sensitive and typically stays nervous the entire time we are away. He usually comes home a bit haggard after overnight stays. However, this time he was totally relaxed and behaved as if he’d just been there for a playdate with Jie’s dog ! It was clear Jie was so caring, careful, and loving with Bear that I even considered staying longer away. During the time he was there, Jie sent frequent updates with photos, video’s and comments about his stay. They went out multiple times a day to walk, play, run at the dog park and all about so that he had plenty of fun and exercise. Jie was also extremely accommodating about schedule changes - allowing us to adjust since this was a last minute trip - her hours are great, from early to late. I would love to use her again for care and organize playdates with her dog as a regular thing any time I can.
We've used Dylan several times, and this last time, he accommodated at the last minute and we were so appreciative. I can tell my dog loves staying here, because he runs to see Dylan as soon as we get out of the car. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with Dylan and we will use him again. Also, he is prompt and responsive!
Rachel did an excellent job caring for Daisy. Daisy was well loved and pampered during her stay and returned home a happy dog. Rachel was very responsive, a good communicator and punctual. Highly recommend Rachel and would gladly use her services again.
Darya did a great job with our dogs. She was exceedingly patient with our fur baby who is new-ish to us and boarding and brought some unexpected excitement to the stay. Our poodle mix was also able to get a much needed bath and nail trim while she was there.
Yun and his partner did a great job taking care of our pup, Bagel, for a whole week. Bagel had lots of fun with them, they walked and played fetch with him daily. They made sure they understood the care instructions we provided and sent daily updates. Most importantly, Bagel came home a happy dog. Highly recommend!
