About: My journey with dogs began with Sparkle, a rescue I raised from eight weeks old. For 14 wonderful years, she was my best friend. In her later years, she navigated life with a disability and absolutely rocked a pink wheelchair. Losing her in 2018 didn't diminish the love she left behind. It redirected it outward, straight toward every dog I've met since. I’ve since adopted Harvey, a rescue Pittie with a backstory that’ll make you cry and a personality that’ll make you laugh. He was found as a critically starving stray in Texas, brought to a high-kill shelter in NYC, and pulled from a euthanasia list just in the nick of time. Harvey has since blossomed into the happiest, goofiest, most brisket-shaped dog you'll ever meet. His favorite hobbies are couch hogging and unhinged zoomies. Rehabilitating him deepened my understanding of canine anxiety, trauma recovery, and the kind of steady, patient love it takes to help a dog truly feel safe. That experience, combined with years of hands-on care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, is what I bring to every visit. I've worked with elderly and special needs dogs, as well as dogs managing anxiety, hyperactivity, and behavioral challenges, across a wide range of breeds from Pitbulls and Chihuahuas to St. Bernards and Corgis. I'm currently working toward board certification in canine massage therapy through my forthcoming practice. Your pet is family. About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was 10 and love taking care of them. I’ve also taken friends dogs while they were on vacation whenever needed. I work midday so I can walk your dog before 11am or most likely after 7 pm. Even if you just need me to go feed your cats! About: Growing up we always had dogs and cats. I spent a lot of time with relatives who had more “exotic” pets ranging from degus to a Mali Uromastyx lizard not to mention the short-tailed opossum and various other small mammals. All this has contributed to making me an animal lover totally comfortable around them all! Kristen was the best thing that ever happened for me and my dogs! She gave me peace of mind to leave my two dogs for 10 days in her loving care. She was constantly in touch with pictures and updates and there’s not enough words of praise or thanks that would do her justice.
My two big fiesty dogs are very reactive to other dogs, but Beverly handled them with no problems, taking them for a long walk, and even encountering other dogs, but keeping the situation under control. Such a relief for me! I like to walk them, but am always worried to ask others to do that. I am very glad to find someone who can do so and keep them in check. They are all bark and no bite, but other dogs and people do not know that, so it is good to know that Beverly understands how to keep everyone safe! She is upfront, honest, and calm. You want her on your team.
Alex was amazing, He took care of our 9 year old dog for 10 days, stayed at our place for a few days and then he took peanut to his place when he thought she would be comfortable. We found her happy and healthy when we got back home. During the whole time Alex was sending pics and videos and letting us know how the day went, that gave us peace of mind and we were able to enjoy our time away.
