About: Hey there! Thank you for visiting my profile. While I don’t have official education with animals, I have a strong love for all of them. I have always had to take care cats and dogs from childhood to now. I understand the importance of finding someone trustworthy and reliable for your fur babies. I do have a full time job but will typically have availability on the weekends and Mondays. I will do my best to meet your needs. I have a fenced in backyard and a doggy door so they can go in and out as they please. If your pet has the possibility of trying to dig and escape; the doggy door will be closed. I have a 3 year old female Pitt bull terrier mix named Gracie who loves to play! Your furbaby will be exhausted from a day of all play. I do have a Persian cat named Elsa but she can be separated if your pup isn’t cat friendly. I also have a 7 year old child that loves animals just as much as I do.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.

About: I've been the designated pet and baby sitter for my circle of friends for over 10 years. Whether it's children or pets, I love to help care for the little ones in people's lives. As a first time user of Rover, I'm mostly looking to dip my toes in rather than dive fully in. I'm available for walks anytime after 4:30 pm during the week, fully avilable from morning to evening on weekends, and available for overnights on weekends. The things they enjoy, treats as well as activities. This is because being away from their people can cause stress and the things I mentioned create a feeling of safety for the pet. I also ask the owner what to expect from their pet, do they usually get anxiety, are they pretty good about being separated. It is just so I can mentally prepare a little plan of action in my mind to better soothe the pet while you are away. I am patient, loving and generous with attention and affection. This helps to better reinforce that they are safe and everything is ok. I take time to assure the pet they are ok, and associate my being there with positive things and actions. Sometimes just because a pet isn't showing obvious signs of dismay doesn't mean they aren't struggling with the absence of their human(s).
