“So glad that Anna was available for drop in visits. She did a very good job of taking care of the needs of my two cats over a span of several weeks. Anna is pleasant and conscientious. and the kittens miss her. I look forward to calling on her again when needed.”

“It's like all 4 of my dogs already knew her for years from day 1. They think she's the coolest playmate ever! Doesn't just "supervise" but joins in and gives each pup special 1 on 1 attention from petting to brushing. They really look happy in the pictures too! Will be plenty more visits when needed. Thanks!”

“Aliya was very conscientious and attentive to the kitties. She was here every day, checked on the cats, fed them and checked their litter boxes. We would definitely have Aliya cat sit for our babies again in the future.”

“Kim was always on time, topped off the food and water, and cleaned the litter box for my two cats. Immediate rapport between my 'boys' and Kim was great! I would invite her again as needed.”

About: I love being with animals and have experience caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, jumping spiders, and lizards. I enjoy learning each animal’s personality and making sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I am a student who goes to college out of state but is home for the month of January and is also working part time. Since losing a dog of my own I figured this would be a great opportunity to help others with their pets and still have a great time with animals. I do have a fenced in yard if I take dogs into my home but in other peoples homes, listening to the guardian is most important to me on how they coexist with their pet and respecting that. At the end of the day I want to help people care for their pets.
“She was awesome taking care of our cats! She’s very good at giving oral medication so I felt comfortable with her giving meds to our boy. Thank you so much!!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs of all kinds since middle school, walking and pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors alike. I believe every dog deserves the same level of affection, patience, and care as my own, while also giving each one the individual attention they need to feel comfortable and happy. I work full-time during the week, typically until 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and until 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. I’m available for evening walks on weekdays, as well as full availability on weekends and holidays. I love spending my free time with animals, so pet care naturally fits into my routine and is something I genuinely look forward to. When caring for pets in their own home, I always ensure they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow their owners instructions closely for feeding, routines, and any special needs. I take time to build trust with pets through gentle communication and positive attention while remaining focused on keeping them happy and active.
“Lynsey is an excellent choice for any pet owner who wants their pet to be well loved while they're away. She takes the time to make your pet comfortable, gives all the pets and even took care of our crested gecko! Lynsey is a true lifesaver and we were able to rest easy knowing our cat Lynx was in her responsible and knowledgeable care. Thank you Lynsey!”

I have been providing pet care services for more than a decade now, and I take great pride in offering compassionate and loving care to all animals. It all started in 2010 when I launched my own Pet Sitting and Dog Walking business. Through this business, I have been able to offer pets superior care services in the comfort of their own homes. Five years ago, I decided to expand my knowledge and education on the canine mind, and I became a certified dog trainer. My training is focused on using positive reinforcement to improve the quality of life of both the four-legged fur babies and their two-legged parents. I would like to be able to share my love and compassion for animals with you and your fur babies. Wags, Allison My business is working with animals and as a dog trainer I love to enrich the lives of other animals in any way I can. Compassionate Canine Care is my goal with every animal. I believe in establishing a genuine connection with all the animals I train or take care of. Providing them with the best possible care is crucial to me, as it helps them lead a happy and healthy life for as long as they are with us.
“This was our first timing leaving WallE since COVID. Angela is super sweet. WallE and Angela hit it off immediately. She took extra care of our sweet boy while we were away for the weekend. She provided excellent notes/updo and pictures of our sweet boy. Thank you so very much, Angela!!!”

About: I grew up with as many as 5 cats and two dogs at a time. I am familiar with caring for most pets including rodents and fish. I work from home so taking a break to walk or feed pets is not an issue. There is even some extra time to give them some attention too! My dog has free roaming permission in the backyard and we also have a cage for large dogs available. For visiting dogs we walk them on a leash since they are not familiar with the area.
About: I have had dogs my whole life but 2 of my dogs gave birth to 11 puppies in October of 2022 and I helped take care of them all until they were ready to go to their new homes. I kept one of the puppies and have taken care of her since she was a newborn so I am very familiar around all types of dogs. I’m currently available most weekdays and weekends. I keep my calendar up to date and do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. Feel free to reach out with your dates, and I’ll respond as quickly as I can. I will make sure your pets are getting enough attention and exercise when you are away and will treat them like they are my own.

I prioritize safety, enrichment, and happiness, and I focus on building trust—dogs naturally seem to fall in love with our time together. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
