“Repeat customer! Alexandra is great as always when she stops into let out my 2 English Bulldogs & my sisters 2 German Shepherds! She is wonderful at communicating & sending pictures. Alexandra also follows any instructions we leave her with! She loves dogs, is very reliable and we always re-book with her!”

“Silvana was wonderful. I received daily pictures and updates and came home to happy cats. I was very comfortable leaving my fur babies in her care and would highly recommend her for pet sitting needs.”

“Taylor was awesome with my dog. I am gone for 12+ hours due to my job and Taylor is the first dog walker I have used where I come home to my dog not being overly energetic. He clearly gets a lot of play time with her!! She is very responsive, professional, and sends the cutest pictures! :)”

About: I have cared for and been around pets for my entire life. I’ve taken care of family and friend’s pets and love doing it. I love younger and older pets alike, I do not discriminate! Pet care fits into my weekly routine because it allows me to interact with pets on a daily basis and walking pets helps me get exercise on too! I can care for a pet by giving the pet what it needs based on their personality. If they want attention, I will play with them for hours. If they want to be left alone, I am happy to do so. Any pet I take care of will be in good hands and supervised heavily, to guarantee their safety.
“Tremendous job taking care of our fur babies! Allen was great at communicating and providing pics and videos of our pets. I would most definitely recommend him for anyone needing pet care while away from home. Will definitely ask for him again next time we are out of town!”

“Olivia was awesome! She over communicated. My dog clearly loved her and before she left she even cleaned my floor which she didn’t have to do. She went above and beyond and I am 1000% going to rebook her in the future.”

“Anthony was a 10/10 for taking care of our large pup and kitten. He spent plenty of time keeping them busy and entertained. I felt completely at ease while I was gone knowing they were in good hands. I also loved how thorough his pictures were. He even sent a map of his walks with our dog! Will definitely be booking with him in the future.”

About: I have a cat at home. I grew up raising an old lab and a young energetic cockapoo. My sisters also had 3 dogs (golden retriever, yorkie, english spaniel), 5 cats, and 8 chickens that I pet sat frequently. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and ages and love caring for all of them 🫶 I am in Tampa on a clinical rotation for part of my Doctorate or Physical Therapy program. I had to leave my cat at home while i’m here so i miss my baby! I love cats and small dogs and would love to help take care of yours while i’m missing mine! I am a vegetarian and could never imagine hurting an animal much less a pet. I care for all pets like they are apart of my own family.
“Cheyanne took excellent care of my cat Kiki while I was away! She wrote a summary and took pictures throughout each visit and it was so nice to see what Kiki was up to. She looked very happy and clearly really liked Cheyanne! Cheyanne gave her a lot of attention, brushing her and allowing her to make biscuits in her lap. Cheyanne also notified me right away when my fridge stopped working and helped me by checking the electric panel (going above and beyond pet sitting!). I will definitely book Cheyanne again next time I go out of town!”

About: I have been dog sitting since I was about for about 7 years for neighbors and friends. I have also walked my elderly neighbor's dog for them when they were unable to. I am currently working full time but I love to go on long walks in my spare time! I enjoy being outside and meeting new fur babies. Depending on how you request, I could meet you at your front door or come into your home to retrieve your fur baby to take them on a walk. I do understand that living in Florida where is mostly hot and humid and some dogs cannot handle the heat or become exhausted easily. However long you request to have your dog walked I will bring a water bowl for your pet to stay hydrated. :) I am currently working full time but I am trying to open up my schedule more by the end of summer. But I am currently available on the weekends and some days during the week. I can be flexible to just message me and I will let you know! Walking your dog around your neighborhood where your fur baby is familiar is important to me! I will make sure your fur baby has plenty of water and time to enjoy themselves on our walk. For drop ins I will sit with your baby as long as is needed. Making sure they get cuddles, stimulation, meds, and just some human time.

“He came with his girlfriend to my house, and they were both incredibly friendly and kind. They were so gentle and caring with my dog, which made me very happy. I really appreciated their excellent service. Thank you so much—5 stars!”

About: Hi! I'm Emory - I grew up with Golden Retrievers my entire life, and in my adult years I’ve rescued three mixed-breed dogs from the shelter ranging from staffy's, dachshunds, and chihuahua's. I live with my boyfriend Quinn who also grew up with dogs, and together we have rescued a dog of our own, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of our lives. After our own dog passed away a couple of months ago, we decided to hold off on getting one of our own right away and to help take care of other dogs instead. We have pet-sit for our friends and family for years, and also used Rover as a customer for our previous dog so I understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pet and to provide lots of updates! During the week, I work a hybrid schedule, so your dog will get plenty of attention and companionship. On my work from home days, I’m home all day for walks, playtime, and lots of attention. Even on the days I go into the office, I’m only about 15 minutes away. I typically leave around 8am, come home during my lunch break from 12–1pm, and Quinn is home by 4pm, so dogs are never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. They’ll get a walk before work, another walk and playtime during lunch, and plenty of walks, love, and attention in the evenings! Our home is very dog-friendly! Dogs are welcome on the furniture, get plenty of affection, and are treated like part of the family while they’re with us. Because I have rescued dogs from the shelter, we also have experience working with dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding. I know every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so will do our best to make them feel safe and loved.
“Cynthia was great! I was stressed trying to book someone last minute to check in on my cats over Thanksgiving and she responded right away. Very responsive and sent me lots of videos and photos during her visits! Very satisfied with this experience.”

About: Despite never being a professional dog walker, I’ve owned dogs for my entire life and looking for a summer gig while I’m away from teaching. Currently, due to being in summer break, I have all of my time free to help out with your pets! Despite returning to teaching in August, I will still have availability throughout the week! I understand that every home and every dog will have their own specific needs so I can assure you I will do everything in my power to make sure they are met!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for the last 2 years. I have cared for senior dogs and senior cats, as well as puppies. having to do daily walkings and daily medications, along with walking the senior dogs outside to make sure they were able to use the restroom and come back into the house with no troubles. Other tasks I have done are walking, sleeping over at the house for long periods of time, and keeping up with their feeding schedule. Every morning consisted of following the feeding schedule, along with medications and exercise! I want to be able to provide this service for your animal, so you can know and feel that your baby is being taken care of in a responsible and fun manner. I will be providing the services of walking, drop-ins and doggy day cares! As I am a college student working a full time job, these services allow me to drop in on your furr baby to make sure they’re get some play time/walks and feedings! If I were to open boarding or house sitting In my clients home, and in my own home, I will always make sure they know their furr baby and being respectful of the house is my top priority. Being able to care for pets at my apartment is my ideal scenario, I can assure you he/she will feel nothing but love and care being under my surveillance. In my home, animals are allowed on furniture and walks will be taken out at the dog park in my apartment complex. I also enjoy walking bayshore, so this would be a place I would take your dog as well to get out of the house and get fresh air!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ballast Point
This is now my 3rd time using this platform, and Ahmed made the experience a great one. He was quite responsive and, most importantly, was able to accommodate me at the drop of a dime which is incredibly beneficial given the nature of my job. He took the extra time to stay in consistent communication, sent pictures throughout, and consistently asked how he could help ensure my puppies didn't feel lonely. It's clear he genuinely cares about the animals he watches. Ahmed has limited reviews on Rover right now, but don't let that deter you. If you're particular about your four-legged family members :), give Ahmed a chance you won't regret it.

Alexandra was INCREDIBLE!!!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter for my two babies. She sent me amazing pictures, kept me updated on how they were doing, and made my vacation even that much better knowing they were in such good hands. I couldn’t recommend a better person to watch your babies! She was attentive, super professional, and overall such a wonderful person. I will be using her EVERY time moving forward as I felt such at ease!!!!

Christine was amazing!! Super flexible and good with both of our dogs! One of them had an accident and she cleaned it up, no problem! We also loved the pictures & extra time she spent with them! Would recommend Christine to anyone & will definitely be choosing her again!
