Your pup won’t be left alone in a quiet kennel environment—they’ll be included in family life, walks, and consistent companionship. Someone is almost always home too so you know your baby is in constant care. I am a preschool teacher and am off summer and holiday breaks. I work mornings and am only a 60 second walk from the church I work at so am available to come home quickly! We have watched many, many dogs for friends and family in past and now with the kids of age to work and the love of dogs we’re expanding! I am a preschool teacher at my church that is a 60 second walk from my house, I also have teenage triplets who both babysit and dog sit (they love to do both), so someone is always home and available for walks, feedings, and love. The triplets are very active sports wise so having our own dog in this season isn’t an option so we love any and all opportunities to have one in our home, it is such a blessing! We have a wonderful, quiet street near Bayshore perfect for walking. Most of the people on our street our retired with dogs so dogs are the children around here! Having three teenagers as well who absolutely love dogs ensures your pup is being overfilled with love.

About: I’ve had dogs for 20 years. I used to volunteer for the SPCA to help walk, bathe, clean and train dogs. I really enjoy working with dogs and figuring out what makes them happy! I’m currently taking classes and have loads of time for walking, boarding, or going to your house to take care of your animals. I look forward to meeting them! I have a fenced in yard in the back of the house. I have one dog - a Jack Russell / chihuahua mix (we think- she’s a rescue!)

About: I grew up on a farm on the east coast of Florida & I once was a member of 4-H agriculture club. I own animals of my own; horses, dogs & chickens! I am currently working as a PRN nurse “as needed”, 3days a week. I also have weekend availability and know my schedule a month ahead of time. I have a fully fenced in large back yard and a lab/husky 10yr old dog who is friendly with any animal. I also am wanting to dog sit to have a buddy for him to play with!

About: While I’m newer to Rover, I’ve been caring for pets my entire life. I grew up with both cats and dogs, and in 2022, I brought home my first dog—a Golden Retriever puppy—and took on his training myself. He’s now a playful, loving 3-year-old who is gentle and friendly with other pets. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. With my flexible work schedule, I’m happy to help with dog walks or drop-in visits while you’re away. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and love while you’re gone! I work from home Monday through Friday. I have flexibility for drop-ins (for dogs and cats), as well as dog walking in your neighborhood. I can assist on some weekends as well, and keep my Rover calendar up to date. I offer both short-term and recurring services, depending on your need. I live in South Tampa and prefer to book services within a 4-5 mile radius. My neighborhood is very walkable, quiet, and safe. Through the years, I enjoyed caring for my family and friend's pets while they're away.

About: As the owner of a young (crazy) German Shepherd, I personally understand that high-energy and working-breed dogs greatly benefit from lots of physical activity, mental engagement, and confident care. I also understand how particular you may be about the person caring for your dog, because I feel the same way about mine. This is why I have a high standard of care for the dogs I take care of, and I pride myself on being dependable, observant, and attentive to their safety. I am especially comfortable with large, energetic dogs, but I’m happy to care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I offer walks/runs and drop-ins tailored to each dog’s energy level, personality, routine, and needs. I am available all day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I would love to see your pup routinely, but I also accept same-day bookings on these days! My availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays is limited to early mornings, which will need to be scheduled the day before at the latest! Your pet’s safety and your trust are my top priorities. If you so choose, I would love to have a meet-and-greet before our first booking, but this is not required! During walks, I stay attentive to our surroundings and provide extra space from unfamiliar dogs, wildlife, traffic, or anything else that could make your dog uncomfortable or overly excited. I will never allow your dog off leash or introduce them to another animal. Living in Florida, I always monitor the weather, pavement temperature, and your dog’s behavior and will adjust the intensity of our activity accordingly. For drop-ins, I will carefully follow all feeding, medication, potty, play, and home-security instructions. I’ll also send lots of photos and a detailed update after each visit so you know how your pet is doing!
