“Catherine was so sweet! She was very prompt in responding to my questions and flexible when my return flight was delayed. My dog had a wonderful time with her and will be visiting again soon!”

“Autumn was fantastic with Hadley. She kept me updated with how she was doing and it looked like my baby was having a good time playing with her dog. I will definitely call on Autumn again when the need arises.”

“Kiran was wonderful. She is very communicative and makes sure that she has all of the needs for your little loved one. Plenty of pictures. Toby was very happy. Will use again. Thanks”

“We had a last minute issue with boarding Zoey for the holiday. A friend at work mentioned looking into Rover.com and I am so glad that I did. Hermun responded that she had room and that Zoey could come that evening. The first photo Hermun sent to us, I swear Zoey was smiling in her backyard! Zoey lost her best friend, Hogan a St. Bernard, early last year so she can be slightly territorial initially. Hermun was able to ease her initial anxiety and give her a lovely warm home to spend the weekend in with some cuddly buddies. She was in contact with us all weekend, letting us know how Zoeay was doing as well as with some friends she had made. We had a wonderful experience.”

“10/10 recommend ! Took care of my best friend like her own. Sent me so many daily pictures and updates while I was away missing my girl. Couldn’t be happier :)”

“Tucker had an amazing time while staying with Margarita and Carissa. We are pretty sure that he had as good vacation as we did. Their son was Tucker‘s best playmate. We would highly recommend Margarita and Clarissa for anyone in the area needing a safe and loving home for their pet. Thank you again for the love and care.❤️. Bonus, they have an amazing backyard!”

“Shayna took excellent care of my dog, Arya. I felt very confident leaving my precious pup in her beautiful home under her care. Drop off and pick up were super easy - Shayna is someone who is friendly, kind and easy to work with! She sent photos each day I was gone and that made me happy to see Arya having a great time. Shayna and her family are the best of Rover and I look forward to having her care for Arya again.”

“Valeriia did a wonderful job taking care of my sweet boy, and I received many photos of his adventures with her! Thank you for welcoming my baby into your home!🩵🐶”

About: Hi! I'm Emory - I grew up with Golden Retrievers my entire life, and in my adult years I’ve rescued three mixed-breed dogs from the shelter ranging from staffy's, dachshunds, and chihuahua's. I live with my boyfriend Quinn who also grew up with dogs, and together we have rescued a dog of our own, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of our lives. After our own dog passed away a couple of months ago, we decided to hold off on getting one of our own right away and to help take care of other dogs instead. We have pet-sit for our friends and family for years, and also used Rover as a customer for our previous dog so I understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pet and to provide lots of updates! During the week, I work a hybrid schedule, so your dog will get plenty of attention and companionship. On my work from home days, I’m home all day for walks, playtime, and lots of attention. Even on the days I go into the office, I’m only about 15 minutes away. I typically leave around 8am, come home during my lunch break from 12–1pm, and Quinn is home by 4pm, so dogs are never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. They’ll get a walk before work, another walk and playtime during lunch, and plenty of walks, love, and attention in the evenings! Our home is very dog-friendly! Dogs are welcome on the furniture, get plenty of affection, and are treated like part of the family while they’re with us. Because I have rescued dogs from the shelter, we also have experience working with dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding. I know every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so will do our best to make them feel safe and loved.
“Silvana and her family took great care of Pilot! She was very flexible and available. Updated us on his care with texts and photos. Took him on daily walks. Special thanks to her son, who shared his bed with pilot;)! Would definitely use her again. Thank you!”
“Evgenia was everything we could’ve hoped for in someone to care for Lucy! She sent lots of photos and updates, which made us feel completely at ease knowing Lucy was in such great hands. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Anastacia was great and took really good care of my puppy. She made everything easy and I didn’t have to worry about a thing while I was on vacation. Thank youuuuu”

“Thank you so much for taking great care of Max, she enjoyed staying with you. Nicole was very accommodating and made me feel very comfortable leaving Max with her. I'd recommend Nicole for anyone looking to take care of their best friend.”

“Maxine is heaven sent. She treats our baby like her own. If you want a clean, safe, nurturing environment for your pup, Maxine is your go to. Maxine is communicative, reliable, flexible and will ensure you can sleep well at night knowing your pup baby is in good hands. We are so grateful for Maxine and she has become our puppy’s honorary auntie. Thank you Maxine.”

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away! I have experience caring for small and medium-sized dogs up to 65 pounds and understand that every dog has their own personality and needs. I grew up with Boxers my whole life so dogs with crazy and loving energy is where I thrive but also love and enjoy our calm pups too! I provide plenty of exercise through walks, playtime, and interactive activities to keep dogs happy and engaged. I also enjoy giving them lots of attention, affection, and cuddles so they feel right at home. Your dog's routine is important to me, so I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water available, and receive frequent bathroom breaks throughout the day. Whether your dog loves to play, relax, or just have a companion nearby, I will provide attentive, reliable care and treat them like part of my family. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands while you're away! I am currently working full-time during the week but get home at about 4:30p every day. I work from home every Friday and I am home most weekends so weekend sitting is where I will be most available! My schedule is flexible though so for longer needs, I can work around it with enough notice given. I have a fenced in yard and my sister who lives with me who also loves dogs very much. When in my home, I want the dogs I am watching to feel comfortable and wherever I am, they are welcome! I have a very open layout on the first floor with easy access to the back yard. The upstairs is very open as well with big windows and 3 bedrooms. As for caring in clients homes, I am very respectful and want the dogs to feel safe in their space with me there. I offer to wash them if needed, walk them, feed them, and take them to the dog park as well if allowed!
“Took great care of our spaniel!!! She provided regular updates, pictures and communication during our time away. We will definitely be using Lauren again!”

“Jennifer took such loving care of my dog! She made our pup feel like he was in his second home. She was also great about sending lots of pics & videos every day, so we were never worried while we were away. We will definitely rebook with her!!”

She gave him plenty of attention and fed him each morning. I loved the daily video and picture updates she texted to me and she was very quick to respond to any texts I sent back. It was nice to know my Georgie was well taken care of over my long vacation. Thank you so much, Carylyn!”

“Taylor was awesome with my dog. I am gone for 12+ hours due to my job and Taylor is the first dog walker I have used where I come home to my dog not being overly energetic. He clearly gets a lot of play time with her!! She is very responsive, professional, and sends the cutest pictures! :)”

About: I have taken care of family and friends care for years. Whether it’s a drop in, hanging out with the cat, or cleaning the litter box, I am happy to help. I also have had a cat for a few months now and have done all the basic necessities. Additionally, when she was sick, I had to administer her medicine orally via syringe.
“Cheyanne was extremely nice and attentive to my fur babies needs. She was detailed in all that she did in her visits, let me know how my kitty was doing and she sent photos everyday. She’s very personable and sweet. I would highly recommend her to watch your fur baby.”

About: I have a cat at home. I grew up raising an old lab and a young energetic cockapoo. My sisters also had 3 dogs (golden retriever, yorkie, english spaniel), 5 cats, and 8 chickens that I pet sat frequently. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and ages and love caring for all of them 🫶 I am in Tampa on a clinical rotation for part of my Doctorate or Physical Therapy program. I had to leave my cat at home while i’m here so i miss my baby! I love cats and small dogs and would love to help take care of yours while i’m missing mine! I am a vegetarian and could never imagine hurting an animal much less a pet. I care for all pets like they are apart of my own family.
“Anthony was a 10/10 for taking care of our large pup and kitten. He spent plenty of time keeping them busy and entertained. I felt completely at ease while I was gone knowing they were in good hands. I also loved how thorough his pictures were. He even sent a map of his walks with our dog! Will definitely be booking with him in the future.”

“Madison was the perfect choice to watch my two cats while I was away. I can tell from their photos she made sure they were happy, well fed, and comfortable without me there! I will definitely book her again in the future ☺️”

About: I have been dog sitting since I was about for about 7 years for neighbors and friends. I have also walked my elderly neighbor's dog for them when they were unable to. I am currently working full time but I love to go on long walks in my spare time! I enjoy being outside and meeting new fur babies. Depending on how you request, I could meet you at your front door or come into your home to retrieve your fur baby to take them on a walk. I do understand that living in Florida where is mostly hot and humid and some dogs cannot handle the heat or become exhausted easily. However long you request to have your dog walked I will bring a water bowl for your pet to stay hydrated. :) I am currently working full time but I am trying to open up my schedule more by the end of summer. But I am currently available on the weekends and some days during the week. I can be flexible to just message me and I will let you know! Walking your dog around your neighborhood where your fur baby is familiar is important to me! I will make sure your fur baby has plenty of water and time to enjoy themselves on our walk. For drop ins I will sit with your baby as long as is needed. Making sure they get cuddles, stimulation, meds, and just some human time.

“Cynthia was great! I was stressed trying to book someone last minute to check in on my cats over Thanksgiving and she responded right away. Very responsive and sent me lots of videos and photos during her visits! Very satisfied with this experience.”

“He came with his girlfriend to my house, and they were both incredibly friendly and kind. They were so gentle and caring with my dog, which made me very happy. I really appreciated their excellent service. Thank you so much—5 stars!”

About: Hello hello! I'm Ken, local dog sitter/walker. Some pros: I have a fenced in yard for pups to run around in, play fetch with, and do their business. I have a long hall in my home for indoor play and a park nearby that I like to take my pups to. I'm a novelist so I'm home all the time and won't be leaving your pups for any extended periods, if at all. Rules are pretty lacks around the house and I do my best to make a dog friendly environment. I only watch one dog at a time, so yours will get my full attention and will have no competition. One thing I must insist on is that you please bathe your dogs before leaving them with me.

About: Having grown up with cats, I would considered myself very experienced in this field. Whether that be food diets, cleaning or even taking care of specific medications. Cat sitting is just as important as dog sitting is to me because they are still an animal who needs love, and catering too. I have watched my roommates cat on multiple occasions, following her feeding schedule, cleaning her little box and also making sure she gets cuddle and play time.

About: I have experience interning at a veterinary clinic, which gave me valuable hands-on experience working with animals and learning about pet care. My mother trained and bred show dogs for over ten years. She was a professional handler. I have assisted her on many occasions. She was also a certified Veterinarian Technician, I am comfortable with wound care, medicating and emergency procedures. In addition to this, I also care for my dog at home every day, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, exercise, feeding, and making pets feel safe and comfortable! I’m currently home from college for the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. Since I’m not working another job right now, I’m able to dedicate my time and attention to caring for pets and maintaining their routines. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for pets in my home. I have a friendly Yorkiepoo of my own, so I’m very familiar with daily pet care routines including feeding, walks, playtime, and giving pets plenty of attention and companionship. I live in a quiet, walkable neighborhood that’s great for regular walks, and I also have a small grassy backyard area.

About: We are lifelong animal lovers with over 30 years of combined experience caring for pets. Jeni grew up with German Shepherds and has always had a dog in the home. She began pet sitting as a service for friends and family 15 years ago. Marc also grew up with family dogs and, for the past 13 years, he’s loved on his own high-energy pup, Cooper. Now as a married couple we have a “blended family” with our senior dog Cooper and our adult dog Leila as our loyal companions. Because we both work from home with flexible schedules, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. We love animals of all sizes and personalities and treat every pet like part of the family. Whether you need us to watch your dog in our home, drop in for visits, or take them on a walk, your furbaby will be in great hands! For dogs staying in our home, we have a secure fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. Since we both work from home, we’re able to let our own dogs outside whenever they want to go - yours will be treated just like our own! Our goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. We’re always happy to send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in great hands. Pet care fits naturally into our flexible work-from-home schedule, allowing frequent walks, playtime, feeding, and attentive supervision throughout the day. Our flexible schedule also gives us the chance to take the dogs on a walk through the day. 🐾 We have two dogs and a securely fenced in yard where they play outside many times a day. For stays in our home, dogs can be let outside as often as they want to go outside. For drop in visits, we follow your instructions and requests.
About: Hi everyone! New to Rover after pet sitting from word of mouth and referrals back in North Carolina. I am flexible with pricing to start generating some bookings and reviews in FL! I have been pet sitting for over 10 years with all types of dogs. I have experience fostering dogs of all breeds and sizes, most which come from bad situations and need help with their confidence and training, so I am able to help potty train and work through other issues. I have one small dog, Nemo. Care would be private (only your dog and Nemo) safety is my first priority, and they will be watched at all times! My avalibility is set only for days that I will be able to be home 24/7. If other days are needed and your dog is good to be by themselves for any certain time, message me and I will be more available !! I work from home Monday and Friday and reserve my weekends for spending time with my pup. My dog Nemo has separation anxiety so I am normally home with him all day, or bring the dogs with me to a local restaurant or park to get outside and be active. This will be a private service, only Nemo and your dog. I am very attentive and will be able to send lots of pictures to you!
“Danni was amazing! Her dog was so calm, gentle, and great with Millie. She sent frequent updates and gave Millie all the attention she craves. She was patient and took Millie on several walks. We will be back! Thank you Danni!”

About: I bring 18 years of hands-on experience caring for four family dogs, and I currently care for my own Yorkie, so I truly understand the attention, patience, and love pets need at every stage of life. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like my own—tuning into their routines, personalities, and little quirks to make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine since I work from home and already spend my day caring for my own dog. I’m able to give plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day—not just quick check-ins. Evenings are typically spent at home, and if I do step out, it’s only briefly for the gym or dinner. Your pet will have a calm, consistent environment with lots of attention, care, and supervision, just like they would if they were my own. I provide a safe, trusting, and welcoming environment for every pet. My home features a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor play, and my small Yorkie is happy to offer companionship. Pets are free to roam the house and can relax on the furniture—but if you prefer boundaries, I’m happy to accommodate your rules so your furry friend feels comfortable and at home.

About: I have cared for and been around pets for my entire life. I’ve taken care of family and friend’s pets and love doing it. I love younger and older pets alike, I do not discriminate! Pet care fits into my weekly routine because it allows me to interact with pets on a daily basis and walking pets helps me get exercise on too! I can care for a pet by giving the pet what it needs based on their personality. If they want attention, I will play with them for hours. If they want to be left alone, I am happy to do so. Any pet I take care of will be in good hands and supervised heavily, to guarantee their safety.
About: I love the loyalty, mischief, and personalities that come with animals. They are the perfect companion and friend. With over 10 professional years and 15 personal years of having various animals, I will always treat your fur babies with the same care and love they deserve, even if it is just for a short while!! I am currently working full-time; however, my work does not interfere with my schedule for dog sitting. I am currently enrolled in school to start in August, so depending on needs, I can accommodate normal needs (dependent on the situation), if not more, come August! I care for my clients' pets by keeping them in their environment, allowing them to get comfortable and trusting within their limits and curiosity. I do not accept boarding. I only accept overnight bookings within the home of my clients simply for the animals' safety and comfort. I always ask for a mandatory meet and greet with the client and animal I have not worked with before to better keep all animals and parties involved safe and comfortable!!
“This was our first time using this service and Silvana made us so comfortable and Bella and Roux were so happy when they came back from their walk! Silvana was flexible and so easy to coordinate with.”

“Cynthia was so sweet with our pup. She was on time and reliable and kept us up to date with notes about her visits. We could tell our pup was well cared for while we were away!”

About: Dogs have been part of my family since I can remember. I can’t imagine a life without them. I first started dog sitting for friends and family at a young age (13-19). While focusing on my career I took a break from dog sitting, before picking it back up to support close friends in NYC who always needed a hand - whether that be dog sitting for the weekend or popping in to check on their pup while they were at work. During my 5 years in NY I also helped out with my in-law’s 6 dogs and now living in Tampa, I’ve adopted my own rescue pup. Maple is 3 years old and fully trained by me. She’s potty trained, knows commands such as sit, stay, lay down and even some fun tricks like high five and spin move. I’ve been working remotely for the past 3 years allowing me plenty of time to care for your pup! I’m also available at weekends and holidays. For those looking for a HOUSE SITTER, I can work from your house during the day to give your pups all the attention them need. I’m unavailable to stay overnight but will ensure your animals are taken for a late night walk/potty break before bedtime, and we will return first thing in the morning. I have a large fenced in yard allowing plenty of outdoor play time or lazing in the sun. Additionally if preferred I can crate my dog, Maple, to allow for separate play times. Please note I only have one dog, Maple. On my profile there are two dogs listed, my sister-in-law’s dog Willow does not live with me.

“Ahmed took amazing care of my dog and made the entire experience stress-free. He was responsive, dependable and kept me updated with photos and messages. My dog was happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in good hands. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!”

About: What sets us apart is that your dog becomes part of a real, active family home—not just a boarding situation. With a structured daily routine, lots of attention, and a home full of care, we treat every dog like they belong with us. Your pup won’t be left alone in a quiet kennel environment—they’ll be included in family life, walks, and consistent companionship. Someone is almost always home too so you know your baby is in constant care. I am a preschool teacher and am off summer and holiday breaks. I work mornings and am only a 60 second walk from the church I work at so am available to come home quickly! We have watched many, many dogs for friends and family in past and now with the kids of age to work and the love of dogs we’re expanding! I am a preschool teacher at my church that is a 60 second walk from my house, I also have teenage triplets who both babysit and dog sit (they love to do both), so someone is always home and available for walks, feedings, and love. The triplets are very active sports wise so having our own dog in this season isn’t an option so we love any and all opportunities to have one in our home, it is such a blessing! We have a wonderful, quiet street near Bayshore perfect for walking. Most of the people on our street our retired with dogs so dogs are the children around here! Having three teenagers as well who absolutely love dogs ensures your pup is being overfilled with love.
About: Hi! I’m Sarah, a physician with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a specific feeding or medication routine, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and will keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. My schedule is currently very flexible since I’m studying for my board examination from home. This allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, boarding, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet will have lots of companionship, playtime, and care rather than being left alone for long periods. I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible and will do my best to accommodate last-minute requests! Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where every pet is treated like family. I’ll follow your care instructions closely and keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Hi! My name is Jolie and I’m a student at the University of Tampa studying law. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have three at home: a teacup Yorkie, a goldendoodle, and a wheaten terrier mix. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I’ve honestly begged my parents for just about every animal under the sun growing up. Right now I help take care of my teacup Yorkie, so I’m very used to giving lots of attention and making sure pets feel comfortable and safe. I love being active, working out, and going on long walks, but I also understand that every dog is different. My Yorkie isn’t the biggest fan of long walks, so I’m very used to adapting to each dog’s personality and energy level. I’ve also been around dogs with different temperaments, including more nervous or aggressive dogs, so I’m patient and know how to stay calm and handle situations carefully. I truly love animals and will treat your dog like my own while you’re away! I’m currently a college student and I’m off for the summer, so I have a lot of flexibility and time to focus on pet care. I love being active and going on walks, so taking dogs out and spending time with them fits really well into my routine. I’m available most days and can easily adjust my schedule depending on what your dog needs, whether that’s walks, check-ins, or overnight stays. I’m mainly looking to do dog walking and house sitting, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I’m responsible and will follow whatever routine your dog is used to, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I do have a dog of my own, so if I’m house sitting I may need to step away occasionally to check on her, but I always make sure pets get the attention and care they need.

“Autumn was fantastic with Hadley. She kept me updated with how she was doing and it looked like my baby was having a good time playing with her dog. I will definitely call on Autumn again when the need arises.”

Thank you!”

“Matt is very understanding, communicative and flexible. He sent me photos even though it was a one night stay! He was perfectly fine with my dog's crate and accessories. He makes sure all the dogs get along. My boxer, Felice came back a happy boy after playing with some new friends. Felice was well cared for and I recommend Matt.”

“Kyle watched my Lab/Shepherd mix, Maverick, while I was away for a wedding last weekend. About: With 12 years of experience and a household that has always revolved around animals, We are well-versed in managing a busy, happy home. Our experience includes years of caring for large breeds and maintaining consistent training and boundaries. As parents of two young children, we are naturally observant and detail-oriented when it comes to safety and routines. We understand the level of trust it takes to leave a pet in someone else's care, and we treat every guest with the same dedication we’ve given my own pets over the last decade. Your pet will rarely, if ever, be alone. Both my wife and I are home throughout the day—she manages our household with our two young children, and I work from home with a very flexible schedule. This 'double coverage' means we can easily accommodate mid-day walks, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of companionship. Whether your dog prefers to nap under my desk while I work or play in the yard with the family, they will have constant supervision and engagement. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. Since I work from home and my wife is a stay-at-home mom, we provide 24/7 supervision and a highly flexible routine. We are active daily at Gadsden Park and MacDill 48 Park, and guest dogs become a full part of our family outings and neighborhood walks. Our home features a large, fully fenced yard for secure play. We have two resident cats who have grown up with dogs and are very calm and 'dog-savvy.' They are comfortable coexisting with canine guests, but our home layout also allows us to easily keep them in separate areas if your dog is shy or needs a slower introduction. Because we have two young children, we are a perfect fit for gentle, socialized dogs who enjoy a lively, loving family environment.
