About: I’m new to Rover, but have been in the petsitting and housesitting business for years now. I’ve cared for animals of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. From tiny lap dogs who think they own the house to giant breeds who actually do. Whether your pet is a couch potato, zoomie champion, professional squirrel watcher, or secretly plotting world domination, I’m here for it. I have experience with animals big and small and know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and quirks. I currently have an fairly open availability and a flexible schedule, which means I can accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and even last-minute pet care needs whenever possible. Whether your dog needs a walk and playtime, your cat needs a quick check-in and treats, or your pet simply wants someone to exist nearby while they silently judge them, I’m happy to help. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and very specific demands, so I do my best to stay flexible and work around what keeps them happiest, safest, and most comfortable. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine are my top priorities. I know how important it is to trust someone with your animals, and I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medications, walks, litter box care, behavioral changes, and making sure your home stays secure and tidy during visits. About: I've been an avid pet lover for as long as I can remember. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill and earned my veterinarian medical technician degree. I specialize in senior dogs needing special care, food and medication. I can administer all medications oral, topical as well as injections. I have cared for the smallest to the largest of all breeds. Pet sitting is my full time job. My daily and weekly routines revolves around the dogs in my care. I never leave them alone more than 2hrs at a time and I only do that for doctors appointments. My dog Porkchop is a medical service animal and goes everywhere I go, except when I sit at someone else's house. I have a large fenced in backyard and I have a small service dog to keep your baby company. Your babies will be allowed on the furniture and the bed unless you don't want them too. I don't use kennels unless you want me to and you will have to provide the kennel. Your babies will have full access to my entire house. If I sit in your home I go by all of your rules for your baby. On drop in visits I will feed your pet and walk them as well as give plenty of love and play time. For walking visits I will give your baby a twenty minute walk and give them fresh water and a treat or two if they are allowed to have them.

“First-time Rover user and first-time finding a pet sitter for my new rescued dog! Bekah was a referral. My sweet 5-year-old PomChi mix, Ginger Riley, I knew, would be a bit scared, skittish, and possibly sassy, as I had only rescued her six months ago and we were still getting adjusted to each other. I’ve also never left her for more than a few hours, and now I would be gone for 7 days on a cruise I booked long before I adopted her! To say I was stressed and worried was an understatement. I was worried about staying in contact during my time away, whether Ginger Riley would be okay, and if Bekah would have everything she needed, etc. I knew it would take a day or two for Ginger Riley to warm up and fully trust Bekah. ​I knew I needed someone who could be responsible, patient enough to build Ginger Riley’s trust over the first few days, and gentle enough to reassure her that she was safe with this new person and not going back to the shelter, as she had so many times before I adopted her. Although Bekah was referred to me by a friend, my friend's dog and mine have VERY different personalities. We had a meet and greet, and I felt Bekah was the one for the job, and Bekah was FABULOUS!!! By the end of the third day, Ginger Riley couldn’t wait to see her come in the door! No hesitation by Ginger Riley, coming near her and getting the harness on, Ginger Riley was something Bekah had mastered! Bekah was sweet, gentle, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure my sweet girl was well cared for and received lots of extra cuddle time... just what she needed while I was away! Bekah was always timely each day; her messages were extremely detailed, sweet, funny, and the pictures and videos just warmed my heart! I looked forward to them every day! Everything she did while I was away just eased my mind, allowing me to relax and enjoy time with friends. I couldn’t be more thrilled, and the handmade gift she made for Ginger Riley, which I found upon my return, was the kindest thing I had ever seen! Melted my heart! I honestly think Ginger Riley was hoping Bekah would be walking in with me upon my return, as she now misses her new friend and keeps looking for her. I can’t say enough good things about Bekah, and I will most definitely be using her services again in the future! I hope we can continue with even short visits and/or walks to keep their bond strong for future times when I travel. I hope this review helps other anxious pet parents find the right fit for their pet, like I did with Bekah. Thank you so much, Bekah.
