Hi! I’m Amanda. I’m a teacher here in Tampa. In addition to growing up with all sorts of animals at home (dogs, cats, guinea pigs), I have years of experience working in animal shelters. I’ve worked with all types of dogs and cats with varying temperaments and needs. I also have experience administering medication. Lastly, I am a pet mom myself, so I know how important it is that your pet feels safe when you’re gone!

I prefer to care for pets in a client’s home. I have a cat of my own who I would not want to make uncomfortable. That being said, in a client’s home, I take a calm, slow, and affectionate approach with pets.

Amanda was amazing! My kitties are usually shy but they warmed up to her immediately and even wanted belly rubs. She responded immediately and was super friendly. Would absolutely recommend having her watch your pets!

Amanda took such great care of Oscar, she kept me updated and took cute pictures of him having a great time. He was super comfortable with her and loved the check-ins.
Amanda did an amazing job taking care of my cat Teddy! He has been going through a lot and is on new medication, but Amanda gave him his meds no problem. She was great at scooping his litter box and cleaning up after him. She’s an amazing sitter, will definitely use again!

Schedule
I’m currently working as a teacher here in Tampa. I get off around 2pm. Starting end of May, I will be out of school for the summer and fully available!
