Katie is a problem solver and acted with urgency. She texted and called us as soon as the leak was discovered. She was able to turn the water off and clean up the water. This saved us replacing our wood floor and lots of $$$. We couldn’t recommend Katie more and we will be requesting her service next time we are away for kitty companionship!”

About: I personally own three cats and I have volunteered at the animal shelter and worked with cats and dogs! I’ve had animals my entire life, and am very comfortable with them. Please be aware that I am 5’2” so if your dog is larger than I am, I will not be able to work with you. Can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I’m not currently working full time, so I have lots of flexibility to take care of animals! My only completely unavailable time is Friday evenings. Mornings are very open and I can pet sit as long as there’s advanced notice. Due to three cats, I do not offer board in my house but am willing to go to yours which will make your animal feel calmer and safer in their own environment anyways.

“First-time Rover user and first-time finding a pet sitter for my new rescued dog! Bekah was a referral. My sweet 5-year-old PomChi mix, Ginger Riley, I knew, would be a bit scared, skittish, and possibly sassy, as I had only rescued her six months ago and we were still getting adjusted to each other. I’ve also never left her for more than a few hours, and now I would be gone for 7 days on a cruise I booked long before I adopted her! To say I was stressed and worried was an understatement. I was worried about staying in contact during my time away, whether Ginger Riley would be okay, and if Bekah would have everything she needed, etc. I knew it would take a day or two for Ginger Riley to warm up and fully trust Bekah. ​I knew I needed someone who could be responsible, patient enough to build Ginger Riley’s trust over the first few days, and gentle enough to reassure her that she was safe with this new person and not going back to the shelter, as she had so many times before I adopted her. Although Bekah was referred to me by a friend, my friend's dog and mine have VERY different personalities. We had a meet and greet, and I felt Bekah was the one for the job, and Bekah was FABULOUS!!! By the end of the third day, Ginger Riley couldn’t wait to see her come in the door! No hesitation by Ginger Riley, coming near her and getting the harness on, Ginger Riley was something Bekah had mastered! Bekah was sweet, gentle, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure my sweet girl was well cared for and received lots of extra cuddle time... just what she needed while I was away! Bekah was always timely each day; her messages were extremely detailed, sweet, funny, and the pictures and videos just warmed my heart! I looked forward to them every day! Everything she did while I was away just eased my mind, allowing me to relax and enjoy time with friends. I couldn’t be more thrilled, and the handmade gift she made for Ginger Riley, which I found upon my return, was the kindest thing I had ever seen! Melted my heart! I honestly think Ginger Riley was hoping Bekah would be walking in with me upon my return, as she now misses her new friend and keeps looking for her. I can’t say enough good things about Bekah, and I will most definitely be using her services again in the future! I hope we can continue with even short visits and/or walks to keep their bond strong for future times when I travel. I hope this review helps other anxious pet parents find the right fit for their pet, like I did with Bekah. Thank you so much, Bekah.
