About: Started dog-walking/-sitting in my pre-teens. Owned 3 dogs during this time (two part-Lab and one Great Dane. All rescues). Kept a small, growing business which consisted of walking or being paid to stay a week with a dog. This continued until early 20s. Have since continued to sit family's, friends', and family friends' dogs over the years. No matter the size or breed I always manage to find a friend in new dogs. Epileptic, old, and those requiring medicine are not a problem. Whether or not they adhere to commands isn't a problem. I've had very obedient dogs and known many that ran the house. Either way, we'll get along fine. I'm only out of the house for 6 hours at most. My old lady used to need a lot of attention, so I'm used to life revolving around a dog upon entry, before leaving, and taking a break every 30 minutes to give some love. Private back lawn. I have a designated spot in a public walkway for food and water but can move as needs depict. Doors to back rooms are shut when not being used. Nothing heavy or sharp that can fall or come in contact with your pet. I had a 17.5 year old so the house was made as safe as possible for her.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them! I’ve had the opportunity to care for and host dozens of dogs with all different personalities, ages, and needs. I’m comfortable with special diets, medications, different routines, and making sure each dog gets plenty of outside time, exercise, play, attention, and plenty of time to relax. I also have a 7-year-old Australian Shepherd who is playful, friendly, and loves having other dogs around. I'm used to making dogs feel comfortable and welcome in our home, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. My goal is always to make sure they feel safe, loved, comfortable, and right at home while they’re in my care. I work from home, so there is usually someone around throughout the day to give pets attention and care. I have a flexible routine that allows plenty of time for potty breaks, outside time, play, walks, and cuddles throughout the day. My home is generally quiet and relaxed. I'm able to give pets plenty of one-on-one attention while also making sure they have time to rest and feel comfortable. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely get outside, play, explore, and get some fresh air. Since I work from home, there is usually someone around to keep an eye on things and give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have a sweet, friendly 7-year-old Australian Shepherd who loves having other dogs around and can be a great companion for them. I always take introductions at the dogs’ pace and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and relaxed in my home. I’m also happy to follow each pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions their owner provides.
