I grew up with both a dog and a cat, and as an adult, I’ve had cats of my own and have cared for both dogs and cats for friends, neighbors, and families while they were traveling or needed extra help. I’m usually able to work around your pet’s needs, whether that means drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, walks, or giving them some company while you’re away. I also have one teenager at home who is very independent, so my schedule is not tied up with young children or a rigid routine. Because I’m local and have flexibility during the week, I can be dependable and responsive when your pets need care. I’m happy to come to your home to care for your pets where they feel most comfortable and secure. At this time, I’m not able to board pets in my own home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow your instructions closely and keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or potty breaks, walks or playtime as needed, and plenty of attention based on their personality and comfort level. It is my job to make sure all animals are loved and cared for as if they were my own I will make time for any animal in need. After I take my son to school I dedicate my time to pets. Exercise and fresh air is always good too. If the pets have toys I definitely get them comfortable with me by playing with them using their toys. Izabella was AMAZING! WE BOOKED HER LAST MINUTE TO STAY WITH OUR TWO SMALL DOGS TO KEEP THEM COMPANY ALL DAY WHILE WE WERE OUT EXPLORING AND SHE COULDN’T HAVE TAKEN BETTER CARE OF THEM! Two walks, lots of pictures and videos of them playing together kept my mind at ease when they were with someone unfamiliar. They quickly fell in love with her! Erika is absolutely wonderful. She took care of our dog for the first time, and I’m not sure our pup wanted us to come back! Erika gave standoffish and somewhat anxious dog a staycation to remember—great walks, companionable time outside, hanging out together on the couch, good healthy meals. She set up his treat puzzle, which he loves and which keeps him busy. She soothed him during a loud thunderstorm.
