“Amy does a fantastic job! She is so professional, and my puppy absolutely LOVES to go. He gets so exciting when he gets in the car now, thinking he's going to get to go to Amy's house. I highly recommend her, especially for weekly doggy daycare during the day.”

“This was my dog's first day at dog day care and it was only for a couple hours just to try it out. But everything went very well. Chang updated me with pictures shortly after dropping my dog off to assure me he was doing well. When I picked him up he was happy to see me but also seemed like he would have followed Chang back to her house if she wanted him to. So that was very comforting to see that he liked her. I will be a repeat customer.”

“We have used Adrienne a couple times now and each time has been great. Bosa doesn't put up a fight when we leave him behind and is in wonderful spirits when we pick him up. They're good about ensuring he gets his herding-breed-exercise during his afternoon there. Recommended!”

About: I have been working with and caring for pets since the 1980s. I currently an self-employed and work from home while taking regular breaks to walk and tend to my own two dogs, Lincoln and Ginger, both of whom enjoy the company of other dogs. I also have two cats and experience caring for small rodents (gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, mice and rats), reptiles and amphibians, and fish. My philosophy is to let animals express their innate tendencies in a safe and structured environment so they feel loved, appreciated, and empowered to behave appropriately in the spaces they share with humans. I spent 20 years owning and operating restaurants and made a career change in 2023 when my sister received a terminal cancer diagnosis. I now work from home as a self-employed restaurant consultant in large part to be able to spend more time with my own pets, including a dog I inherited after my sister's passing. Pet care is at the center of my life and I'd be happy to help you with your pets as I also care for my own. My goal is to walk my dog for at least one hour everyday, and most of the time I achieve that! I frequently take him for outings to large off-leash parks so he can get a sufficient amount of exercise. I also clean my cats' litter boxes daily and feed everyone meals twice per day with some treats in between. If I am watching your dogs you can expect that I will treat them like my own.

“SSAVANNA WAS GREAT! WATSON RETURNED VERT HAPPT. HE MUST HAVE ENJOYED THE DOG PARK SAVANNAH TREATED HIM TO! Will be happy to have Savannah care for Watson again! Laura”

About: I work from home so this allows me to give a lot of time and care to your pup. I am happy to take your pup along with me on my multiple walks per day and play in the yard. My son and I take a lot of joy out of hosting dogs and have so much fun with our Rover guests! Please note the dogs in our pictures do not reside with us and will not be present in our home when we have puppy guests. We only host one guest at a time (unless it’s a family pair). We would love to host your pup if it is house trained, friendly to all humans and other dogs, and does not have any history of aggression, separation anxiety or destructive / behavioral issues as we would not be equipped to handle. Meet and greet prior to boarding is our request to ensure a great experience for all. Thank you in advance for your transparency on these requirements! I work from home and am an avid walker, plenty of availability. Your dog would not be left alone for more than a few hours when I have to run out for errands or appointments. I’m a homebody! I live in a safe, quiet neighborhood in the north hills with flat, easy loops for walking. I also have a fenced in, flat backyard that dogs love to play in. I have a 12 year old son who loves dogs and will gladly play with your pup.

About: As a lifelong pet owner with experience caring for both dogs and cats, I currently have a two-year-old chihuahua mix. I love meeting new dogs and can’t wait to spend time with your pets! I own a home with a small fenced-in yard on Pittsburgh's Northside, perfect for safe outdoor play. Since I work from home full time, I can ensure plenty of attention, walks, and playtime for your furry friend. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine. Since I work from home full time, I have the flexibility to ensure regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I make sure to incorporate short breaks for outdoor play in my small fenced yard, and longer walks to explore the neighborhood. I make pet care a priority and adjust my schedule to meet the needs of the pets I’m caring for. When caring for pets in my home, they are treated like family. Pets are welcome throughout the house and are free to relax on furniture, nap on the couch, or sunbathe on the deck. I ensure they follow their regular schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime to keep them comfortable and happy. Since I work from home, I’m always around to give them the attention they deserve, making sure they feel loved and at ease.

He sent updates during the day and by the time we met up with Jon to pick the pups up at the dog park they were well worn out from a day of play and slept well on a long car trip as we headed back to Virginia. Definitely will book John again next time we're back in Pittsburgh!!”

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. When I was a teenager, I would not only love to be the caretaker or my pups, but took many of my neighbors dogs for extra walks and play time! From then on, I have house sat/dog sat for many friends over the last 10 years. I've done everything from just taking a dog out for a walk, to overnight stays (up to 7 days) and am fully capable to even watch multiple dogs at once. I love puppies who need lots of attention and play time to the older dogs that just need to be fed and walked. Dogs are an important part of any family- and I'd be happy to take care of yours! I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. I do have my own dog, Lucy, who is a gentle giant (English Mastiff). I work in the hospitality industry so I have everyday free until 5pm. I am currently only working 4 days a week. On days I am at work, my husband is typically home by 6pm. We both are HUGE dog lovers and happy to take care of any special needs or requirements your pup has! I do have a 6 year old English Mastiff named Lucy. She is ~165 pounds but considers herself a lap dog. She loves small dogs and is incredibly gentle and even a little shy! We also live very close by to a dog park and go there a few times a week, if that’s something your dog would like! Our area is pretty residential and great for long walks. Our home is kept pretty clean (I’m always cleaning up from Lucy!) with lots of toys and plenty of love for dogs! My dog is usually my alarm clock! The dogs get first priority in the morning. Lucy, my dog, tends to hang out in my office with me - but we have lots of toys to entertain more energetic pups. We take pet care very seriously and want to make both the dog and the owners comfortable leaving their dog in our home or taking them for walks. Any special instructions for your pup are always diligently followed and we will make sure they are loved and cared for while you’re gone!

“Tim understands dogs & they “get” him! From body language to woofs they communicate well together & he does far more than meet their basic needs. From making time individually to love them, heading down the street on leash to meet other canine neighbors or enjoying time in a dog park Tim & his dogs grow and develop wonderful relationships. He recently adopted an elderly, very skittish female who lost her owner. She had originally been in a hoarding situation and has special needs. She is now joyful and regaining a love of life thanks to Tim and his primary dog, Lincoln. The clean, safe and caring environment could not be better. I wish all humans could be as well loved and cared for as Tim’s four footed friends.”
