“We cannot recommend Megan enough! This was our first time having someone outside of our family stay with our dogs and we felt able to relax knowing our dogs were well cared for at home and not stressed in a boarding facility. We returned to two happy dogs, who I’m not even sure noticed that we were gone! Thank you, Megan for everything- Penny and Quill will definitely be booking again!”

She provided lots of updates throughout the day to ease the anxiety around leaving our kitten alone for the first time. Hela took to her immediately, you can tell Sarah is a HUGE animal lover and animals love her back. Sarah did overnight stays and we were surprised to find the house cleaner than when we left it. Can’t recommend her enough!!”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs since I was a kid, and now at age 45, you could definitely do worse for someone to take care of your pup. I am available for boarding, house sitting (dependent upon the situation), doggy daycare and/or walks. As a retiree, I have all of the time needed to properly care for your pet. I am currently a dog owner, so your pup will have company. I have a large, fenced in yard, with plenty of shade. I primarily keep my dog in the home, so your pup will have as much time in or outside as he/she prefers.

“Valerie did an awesome job with our two Boxer babies. She did a couple of meet and greets prior to the gig starting to make sure our dogs were comfortable with her and she with them. We got updates along with pictures. When we arrived home, they seemed like they barely missed us. I would definitely recommend using Valerie.”

“She sent me lots of pictures and was very sweet and patient with my cat who was shy about a new person. She was very understanding and communicative. Thank you for your help!!”

“Amanda did a fantastic job with our cats while we were away. She sent great pictures of our fur babies and communicated with me throughout the day. She answered all my questions to make sure I felt comfortable. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover since childhood. When I was 9, my mom would bring home strays of all kinds and we would nurse them back to health the best we could and then find responsible owners. I’m talking cats, dogs, birds, lizards, etc! If we found an animal that needed help, we took it home and tried our best to love it! My mom was my inspiration and I’ve continued doing this for years. I’m responsible and loving and patient! Trust me to care for your babies and you won’t be disappointed! I’m retired from full time work. I do work part time but it’s based upon my preferences. My husband is also retired and is home all day. My Yorkie is given free range of our spacious home. We walk him 2 times per day. Although our yard isn’t fenced, we sit outside with our dog frequently and have a nice play area for dogs. They will never be left alone!

“Meron always does a great job taking care of our little zoo (5 cats and 1 dog). Our dog Audrey is very skittish, but she trusts Meron and feels safe with her, which is huge for Audrey!”

Augusta pet parents share their Rover experiences
Madeline was a wonderful dog sitter to my 2 dogs Luke and Chase. She stayed at our home while my husband and I were away and she followed instructions on our dogs care very precisely. She is very sweet and my dogs I’m sure can sense that. Madeline has had dogs of her own so she understands how to care for them well. During our initial meet and greet she took notes in the things I was saying regarding their care which was appreciated. She gave me daily updates and photos to assure me things were going smoothly. She also left our home nice and neat just as we had left it. I would highly recommend Madeline to anyone who wants their animals looked after!
