About: I grew up around animals. We had a golden retriever named Belle and a cat named Missy. I had two very active cockapoos in my mid to late twenties in New England named Bernoulli and Olyver. I’ve cared for pets in a variety of locations including cities and suburbs. I recently moved to Augusta where I take care of several different animals for my family including dogs, cats, and a rabbit. I’m looking to expand my love for animals into the community. I’m free most weekdays and weekends and can accommodate for some holidays. I stay active so taking walks and playing with pets will be an easy addition to my daily routine. Being around animals of any kind brings me joy and my goal is to love your pets like my own. I have plenty of space, inside and out, to take great care of almost any sized dogs or cats. I try to keep pets on the same routine as they follow with their owners to reduce any stress on them. My yard is currently not fenced in due to storm damage, so your pets will stay leashed while in my yard until the new fence is complete and secure. Pet friendly furniture and home for making animals feel welcome and comfortable in new environments.

I’m always a little anxious leaving my two dogs when I go away, but this was my first time traveling since moving states away from family and friends that could be available if needed. Sarah was extremely communicative and always sent me pictures along with updates to let me know how they were doing. My girls warmed up to her so fast! She is also just the sweetest person to interact with. The house was perfect when I came home and I came back to two happy dogs. Will absolutely be booking with Sarah in the future!”

About: I am experienced in both dogs and cats! From multiple animals (up to 13 at one time!) and the more shy and reserved ones (those have a special place in my heart ❤️) to the more energetic playful ones (I would take my pet on 4-5 mile runs multiple times a week)! I am also active duty (I’m located right outside gate 1) so I have no problem coming on post to check on or take care of your fur baby! I wake up very early in the morning (around 4:30am), can take lunch time to check on pets, and available in the evenings to watch pets! I also have off early on Fridays and completely free the weekends. I live in a gated community with plenty of greenery for the long walks. I also have two cats and one dog to keep your pet company!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. My current calm & freely flowing lifestyle allows me to give them lots of love attention. Everyone who knows me jokes about me being the animal whisperer! In recent years I’ve regularly sat for two dogs (puppy and adult), as well as two kittens. Cats and dogs in my care are are well fed, played with, loved on, and taken for nice active walks. I hope to establish long term, reliable pet-sitting relationships so that I can really get to know the animals I care for and provide a trusted sitter for fellow fur-parents! I work from home and I'm an oil painter -- many of the pets I sit love to watch me paint and they're the best company ever. :) I’m a full-time student, so my availability varies throughout the day. Upon request, I can commit to visits between classes and overnight care. My nights are typically free. I am always willing to make exceptions for urgent requests, so just ask me in advance! Schedule in advance for overnight arrangements. I have a spacious, one bedroom apartment. I have plenty of yard space for fresh air in between walks. I occasionally sit for my mother’s dog, Coco, who makes a great playmate and napping buddy for your dog/cat too. My place has minimal furnishings or hard surfaces, so it is pet proof! I adhere to any provided feeding schedules and send frequent updates on how your pet is doing.

About: I absolutely adore Pets !! I have 2 dogs my self I have a German shepherd chihuahua mix his name is Niko and I have a chorkie mix named Miles Davis. I’ve had miles since he was 2 weeks old and been his momma ever since. I’ve had Niko since he was 3 months me and my family saved him from a frat house. While Mr.Miles Davis was a gift from my sister in law. I’ve always wanted a pet ever since I was 5 years old. I used to write these long extended documents and give presentations as to why I would be a great pet owner. Yet it took a long time God had blessed me with more than I asked for and I wouldn’t change it in the world. I love my dogs and I see many animals not getting the proper care due to abuse or instability maybe because of a job or other complications and that’s why I’m here to bring joy and comfort into both worlds. I’m patient and I listen to pet owners so both me and the pet/s can be safe. I’m currently unemployed at the moment so I have all the free time in the world to take care of your fur baby. If there is a schedule I’ll abide by it to the Tee. If not I can make a schedule that would be beneficial to your fur baby’s needs and wants. Daily morning walks and potty breaks and breakfast, chill time and playtime in the after noon with potty break and in the evening dinner time and some more playtime Depending on how the fur parent wants their fur. Of course I’ll be mindful of what’s going on in there surroundings if there’s little things ( trash / toys / etc ) that may be a choking hazard I’ll clean it up. I’m aware of what dogs can and cannot eat to avoid causing danger to pets. When walking the fur babies I will not let the baby interact with strangers fur babies due to the unprovoked liability that could potentially happen and to ensure the fur babies safety. In home , outdoors , anywhere it is my duty to ensure the happiness and safety of the fur baby , fur parent , and myself.

“Perla watched our 2 dogs Chase and Luke at our home for 8 days. We had never left our dogs for that long, but I never once worried because she was on top of things. She was great with giving me updates, asking any questions and sending me pictures. My one dog Chase had peed once in the house and she cleaned up as needed. She also took good care of my Chase’s condition. I would highly recommend Perla to anyone!”
