I'm Janai. I'm a thirty-something teacher. I have three dogs of my own. I LOVE to play with dogs. I LOVE to go on walks with them and just have fun. My neighborhood is very dog friendly. I am a PSI certified pet sitter (Pet Sitter International). I am also first aid, pet safety, and dog/cat CPCR trained. I am always taking a continuing education course. I like to stay up to date with my courses and stay knowledgeable about pet health. I will also teach the dog tricks if you'd like and give them a bath if needed. I will take tons of pictures of your baby or babies if you would like, because I love to take pictures of my dogs. We'll have a great time.

I needed a sitter last minute and my regular sitter was out of town. Janai was very accommodating at sitting up a meet and greet and took the time to introduce Mickey to all of her dogs one by one. Mickey is VERY skittish and scared of new people but meeting her dogs helped him relax some. I was nervous leaving him with a new sitter but Janai was very good at communicating and sending me pictures. She also added on bathing and nail trim to his services with my permission, so he was fresh and clean when I picked him up. Will definitely bring him back in the future!

Schedule
I keep a daily schedule on the wall that tells me what every dog is going to do for the day. When we wake up, they go out for their morning potty break. Then I feed everyone. We have some cuddle time and if I'm working, I head off to work. If I'm off, we do some enrichment for their minds and then we go for a walk. They then have down time and play time followed by more cuddles and a nap. Dinner is between 5-7PM along with medication administration, if needed. This is followed by more outside time, pending the weather, and then wind down time.

I have a fenced in yard. I also have crates to put the dogs in if needed. I also have baby gates to keep the dogs out of certain rooms. This is what's done in my home. At the client's home, I follow whatever protocols the client has set up.

A typical day
Your dog will enjoy playing tug of war, catching peanut butter flavored bubbles, going for walks in the cool of the day, wrestling with my dogs, and just getting cuddles. I also recently bought the interactive buttons that teach the dogs how to "talk". I want to work with the dogs that have substantial stays with that, as well as my dogs.
