“Madison was phenomenal. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was dependable, thoughtful, communicative, and clearly terrific with dogs. From the beginning, she gave me total confidence that my dog was being cared for by someone who is not only responsible, but who genuinely loves what she does. That combination is rare. Madison is the kind of sitter every dog owner hopes to find. She was attentive, easy to work with, and gave me real peace of mind while my dog was in her care. I would trust her again without hesitation and recommend her enthusiastically to anyone looking for top-tier care.”

“Samantha was great!! She spent almost an hour with my pups, was very gentle with my small anxious dog, and made sure my big dog got her energy out! She was here at at updating me throughout her visit and sent pictures. She even brought a package inside for me and washed the dogs bowls after she fed them. She was great and I’ll definitely book her again!”

I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, providing walks, playtime, feeding, medication administration when needed, and plenty of love and attention. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me for years to care for their pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you're away. About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.
“Brittany was amazing with my dogs. She treated my fur babies with the upmost respect. She was very respectful of my home as well. I completely trust her in my house with my dogs and would recommend her to anyone looking for her services!!”

“Morgan did a fantastic job! Our puppy is a bit of a handful and she took the time to let her warm up to her by playing with her and giving her treats before taking both dogs for a walk so my husband and I could enjoy a night out. She was kind, considerate, and really put my mind at ease even though I was far from home. Thank you Morgan! ❤️”

“Julia did a fantastic job taking care of my cat Elton. She was thorough and communicative. She gave Elton lots of attention and sent me detailed updates. I will definitely try to rebook with her in the future.”

“Madeline was amazing! I've had a lot of Rover experiences and Madeline was by far the best! Right away, the dogs loved her and she has been so nice and communicative. She will definitely be our go to for our dog care.”

About: I grew up with dogs and had a special bond with my family’s dog in college. She loved when I would take her on an “interval run.” I recently successfully fed my friend’s five dogs. Please, I would love to meet your dog(s) with you there to get to know them first. I am officially insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates in case of an inopportune incident taking place while my clients’ pets and homes are in my care. Insurance certificate available upon request if we move forward with a meet-and-greet. I work full-time 8 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. I don’t mind getting up early to check on your fur baby. I work in the 30904 zip code, so I could potentially check on them during my hourlong lunch break if you live close enough. I work to ensure that a pet who is not allowed outside a certain door stays inside. When I fed my friend’s five dogs a couple of months ago, I was told one was an escape artist, but I successfully left out of the front door without her getting out. Please let me know what command words your pet is familiar with.
“Carly is wonderful. I would and have recommended her to all my pet owner friends/family. The piece of mind she gave us made our family vacation the best ever and my cats were in their home vs. a loud, chaotic boarding facility. Thank for taking such good care of our babies. Sincerely, Carrie & Josh”

“Courtney was fantastic! She put so much extra effort into taking care of our pets, even for a few days. Our animals can experience some anxiety, and Courtney did an amazing job providing them fun activities that she brought from home and understanding their behaviors as part of their care. We will absolutely be booking her again! ☺️”

“Very flexible and caring. Took great care of my cat, Ernie. Great communication and spent plenty of time with him. Updated us with everything that was going on. Will definitely book again if we take a long trip!”

Highly recommend!!! Meaghan not only accepted a pet sit for me on short notice but was a great communicator, kind and kept us informed. She was also super punctual and thoughtful about the meds she was giving and what our dogs needed. I had great peace of mind knowing she was caring for our babies while we were out of town.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
