“Lisa is awesome! The Shih’s love it when she comes for her visits and I can count on her to treat the babies as if they were her own babies! I highly recommend Lisa to ensure your babies are well taken care of! Thanks Lisa, the Shih’s love you!”

“Carly is wonderful. I would and have recommended her to all my pet owner friends/family. The piece of mind she gave us made our family vacation the best ever and my cats were in their home vs. a loud, chaotic boarding facility. Thank for taking such good care of our babies. Sincerely, Carrie & Josh”

About: I use positive reinforcement to build good manners, basic obedience (sit, stay, come), and potty training. I also implement mental enrichment games to prevent separation anxiety and destructive behavior. Pet care fits into my weekly routine because mornings im free and weekends before going to my job and i love to drop by show love knowing the fur baby or babies will be okay I have a dog park and small apartment ways i take care of the babies is feedings ,playtime and cuddles, fetch movie time if needed !
About: I have experience taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I used to walk all of my neighbor’s dogs whenever I got the chance just because I loved them so much! When I got older, I began getting requests for looking after dogs and cats while people went on vacation. Along with experiencing different types of dogs and cats from pet sitting, I am also familiar with different temperaments because of my own pets. I have only ever had rescue dogs that have been reactive to other people and animals, so I know how to manage them and give them the space they need to feel safe. I have watched after dogs of all ages and sizes. I am familiar with use of puppy pads and diapers. I am happy to work with any size animal. I love all animals and will treat yours with the same love and care you would! I am currently working a job during the day. This means I would be able to make visits in the morning (before 9am) and in the evening (after 5pm). On the weekends I am completely free anytime. I will follow the specific instructions the owner provides. If I have any questions or concerns I will contact them right away. As well as the normal tasks of general care, I will also provide your pet with companionship and affection while you are away. For dogs, this could look like playing, walking, or just sitting and cuddling. For cats, also playing and cuddling. Having human contact even with just being present can provide great comfort to animals while their people are away. I am happy to provide this service and hangout with some cute friends in the process!

“Zaylie was absolutely amazing with Philly! From the very first walk, it was clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She was reliable, communicative, and always kept me updated with photos and notes, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Philly came back happy, exercised, and clearly well taken care of every time. You can tell Zaylie takes pride in what she does and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!”

“Morgan did a fantastic job! Our puppy is a bit of a handful and she took the time to let her warm up to her by playing with her and giving her treats before taking both dogs for a walk so my husband and I could enjoy a night out. She was kind, considerate, and really put my mind at ease even though I was far from home. Thank you Morgan! ❤️”

About: How owners want there furry friends to be loved is how they will be expected and treated the best way possible! They will be cared for in the best way possible. I let out or walk dogs in the morning and during my lunch time I walk them again and right after work I walk them again. And right before bed I walk them again. How ever the owner wants me to take care of there furry friend I take care of them how they are expected to be loved
“Courtney was fantastic! She put so much extra effort into taking care of our pets, even for a few days. Our animals can experience some anxiety, and Courtney did an amazing job providing them fun activities that she brought from home and understanding their behaviors as part of their care. We will absolutely be booking her again! ☺️”

About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.
“Madeline was amazing! I've had a lot of Rover experiences and Madeline was by far the best! Right away, the dogs loved her and she has been so nice and communicative. She will definitely be our go to for our dog care.”

About: I would love to take your fur babies out for walks and drop in on them to play. I have always had my own and i know how lonely it can be for them to be alone while their parents are at work. I can take them for nice long walk and even run with them if they are a little more energetic. i can always make sure they have enough food and water to get them through the day. I love to play catch and can take them to dog parks and let them get socialized with other dogs. I have my own baby they can even play together. I am so very excited to potentially work with you and your loving fur baby. I also have a very loving dog and if you are comfortable with it he really likes to play with other dogs.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for three years. I’ve given baths, fed and watched dogs off and on for people I knew. Some friends some new clients. I love it. I’m currently working part time from home so I’ll have plenty of time for your pups! I offer boarding over the weekends and check ins as well. I have a fenced in yard and I puppy of my own. I have space to crate your puppy if need be. As well as space for outdoor play.
“Samantha was great!! She spent almost an hour with my pups, was very gentle with my small anxious dog, and made sure my big dog got her energy out! She was here at at updating me throughout her visit and sent pictures. She even brought a package inside for me and washed the dogs bowls after she fed them. She was great and I’ll definitely book her again!”

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages. I currently have a 60lb dog and cat in my home with my parter. I have experience fostering and caring for my family members and friends pets as well. I’m currently working full time with a flexible schedule. I’m off most weekends and available to care for pets in my home with full attention. I have a dog park at my gated condo with a dog wash station and very gentle and willing to take time to build trust and care for your pets.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Augusta
We were a bit nervous about leaving for a few days when Koko required some additional pampering during her visits. Fortunately, Bradley's messages let us know exactly how she was doing and put us at ease! He went above and beyond and we don't think she missed us a bit.

Madison was phenomenal. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was dependable, thoughtful, communicative, and clearly terrific with dogs. From the beginning, she gave me total confidence that my dog was being cared for by someone who is not only responsible, but who genuinely loves what she does. That combination is rare. Madison is the kind of sitter every dog owner hopes to find. She was attentive, easy to work with, and gave me real peace of mind while my dog was in her care. I would trust her again without hesitation and recommend her enthusiastically to anyone looking for top-tier care.

Highly recommend!!! Meaghan not only accepted a pet sit for me on short notice but was a great communicator, kind and kept us informed. She was also super punctual and thoughtful about the meds she was giving and what our dogs needed. I had great peace of mind knowing she was caring for our babies while we were out of town.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
