About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I started working professionally with dogs at a boarding and training facility when I was 15. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities, including puppies, seniors, fearful, reactive, anxious, aggressive, and special-needs dogs. I’m comfortable giving medications, providing exercise and enrichment, monitoring health and behavior, and keeping dogs safe and comfortable. I’ve also helped with professional dog training by reinforcing good behaviors and following trainer directed behavior plans. I’m heavily involved in my boyfriend’s work as a professional dog behaviorist, where I regularly help with sensitive, reactive, aggressive, and special-needs dogs. I also have two dogs of my own; a Husky and a Chocolate Lab. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable and confident when leaving your pets with someone else. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while in my care. My schedule revolves around the dogs! I treat every pet as an individual and adjust my care to their personality, routine, age, and needs. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I’m especially comfortable working with dogs who may be nervous, reactive, anxious, senior, or have special needs, and I always prioritize safety and communication. I’ll follow your instructions closely, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I also respect your home by keeping things clean, organized, and just as I found them.

About: I have over 30 years of experience in pet care with not only my own pets but also family and friends. My wife and I enjoy walking dogs and spending time with all kinds of animals including reptiles, rabbits, ferrets and pretty much anything with four legs! Birds and fish too! I am retired so I'm pretty flexible and looking forward to filling my time with pet care. I can't think of anything else I would rather do with my newly found extra time. I am happy to follow in home care instructions. I won't be keeping dogs or cats in my own home but would consider other types of in home care for other animals like small reptiles.
