“Kylie is the best!! She took amazing care of our 2 dogs while we were on vacation! She is reliable, caring and such a great communicator. Couldn’t recommend her more! ☺️”

“Krystina did a great job helping us when our regular sitter wasn't in town. She confidently managed giving one of our kitties medicine and updated us everyday with cute pics.”

“Alicia and Richard are great. They took care of my cat for a week, two visits a day. They were always on time and reported my cat's status each time. My cat greeted them at the door and allowed them to pet him and comb him. We were worried in leaving him for so long but he was in good hands and he did well. Thank you for such great care!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Dace has provided our 3 fur babies! She helped us be letting our dogs our while we were working long hours, spent time playing with them, and made sure they had everything they needed. It was such a relief knowing our dogs weren’t alone all day without being able to have a mid-day playtime outside, and were genuinely cared about. The extra attention and playtime had made a huge difference for them being able to get some extra energy out!”

About: I've been around dogs a majority of my adult life. They are god's creatures and I will give tons of love to them! They give unconditional love --- and want to give it right back to them. I'm retired now and love all fur babies so I can totally work with anyone's schedule! I know that pets are part of the family so take pet sitting/walking very serious. I can totally go to client's home and be a supportive pal as their loved ones are away. Exercise is so important so whether it's ball play time or a long walk --- I'm excited in my little way to make them feel comfortable and safe!
About: My family has a dog of our own that I have helped care for, for 15 years! I’ve also helped take care of a few other dogs for vacationing families. I am not currently working anywhere else, so I can spend plenty of time loving on and caring for your pet as of right now! I am happy to accommodate any needs your pet requires to feel safe and comfortable! Whatever their eating, sleeping, and walking routine is, I will make sure to keep intact!
“Atina was wonderful. She was attentive and on time. She was at ease with our dogs. Our one dog is 90 lbs and she did not have any problems. She provided updates and photos with each visit which eased our minds. I look forward to using her services in the future.”

About: I’ve owned large dogs my whole life and this struck a passion in me earlier on to get into the hobby of dog training. I got so good that people even began to ask me to help train their new puppies. Additionally, I also ran my own dog walking business throughout the last 4 years and now that I am graduated I would love to continue working with dogs while I save money for college! Currently, I am free all day every day until I start college in the spring. This leaves me with a completely open availability to help care for your beloved pets! I will follow the instructions given to me by each pet owner exactly as they would like. I treat each pup and kitty with kindness and patience always. With my dogs they are spoiled with lots of walks, treats, and lots of fetch to help them get out their energy and if your pup has some extra energy i’d love to play with them until they are content and tired out! I always make sure to message each pet owner when I arrive and when I leave to make sure they know their fur baby is in good hands!
About: I’ve had my dog Chloe since she was a pup, I’ve crate trained her, she knows how to sit, shake, and speak when given a treat. I work full time but willing to work around my work schedule and my days off to take care of your fur baby to feed, walk, potty breaks. I care for my pets with lots of play time, cuddles, love and attention, walks in the neighborhood. I make sure I follow their routine schedule if they have one.
“Christian did a great job! He was always on time, gave detailed reports, and updated me with pictures with each visit. My dog loves him! I will definitely be calling on Christian again whenever I need him!”

“Paula is a wonderful dogsitter! We were on vacation and found her on Rover. We contacted her last minute and she was very responsive. Our dog, Willow, has major separation anxiety and she immediately took to Paula and was comfortable with her. Paula is a natural with animals and obviously cares for their happiness and well-being. She was incredibly punctual and took Willow on many walks since it was such fine weather. We came home to a very happy and relaxed puppy! I recommend her completely!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
