“Ariella is amazing. I don’t have Cooper walked very often so he’s become “interesting” As he’s gotten older. Ariella took EXCELLENT care and had the patience of a saint when Cooper didn’t want to put his leash on! Thank you so much!”

“Angela is an absolute angel. Rubee adores her. She was very responsive, and kept us up to date with Rubee and even shared pictures of her running on the beach. She also anticipated the rain the evening before her first walk and asked that we leave a towel so that she could dry her after her walk ❤️ Rubee cant wait for her next walk with Angela. We highly recommend her”

About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have lived with and cared for plenty. Caring for them taught me the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, and paying attention to a dog’s individual needs and personality. What sets me apart is that I’ll treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m dependable, active, and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors, so whether your dog prefers a leisurely stroll or a more energetic walk, I’ll make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I am flexible and available through out the day Mondays Fridays and Weekends as well as most week nights. Can always move things around if need be. I live in a large house in Long Beach New York, with plenty of room inside, as well as the beach to accommodate any dog.
“Rachel followed instructions very well and was so patient with Chimmy and Chammy. I am so grateful for her care and attention for my furbabies! Highly recommend her!”

About: With a genuine love for all animals, I've been caring for furry friends for over three years professionally here in the US. Back in Italy, my experience stems from caring for my own dogs, creating a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their owners. My services include feedings, baths, regular walks, and extra attention for senior dogs. Additionally, I have hands-on experience with senior dogs, providing them the extra attention they need, such as assistance with walking and more frequent potty breaks. Your furry friend isn't just another job for me; it's an opportunity to make sure they feel cherished, secure, and content. As I ease back into the workplace, my schedule is open and flexible, allowing ample time to prioritize and care for your pets daily. Your furry friends are a top priority in my routine, receiving not just attention but genuine companionship. Unfortunately, I can't board pets in my home, but I offer dedicated in-home sitting services. I prioritize your pet's well-being by maintaining their familiar routine, creating a safe and comfortable environment. I ensure their needs are met, from feeding and playtime to adhering to any specific requirements. Your pets can enjoy the coziness of their own space while receiving the care, attention, and respect they deserve.

About: Hi, I’m Francesca. I’ve grown up with all kinds of dogs, from big breeds like Greyhounds and Newfoundlands to smaller ones like Yorkiepoos and Jack Russells. I currently care for some family and friends' dogs, but I’d love to meet and help take care of your furry friends too! I have a flexible hybrid schedule and can work from anywhere. Helping our furry friends is just the icing on the cake. I enjoy it! This is a service I currently do not offer as my residence does not allow for pets of any kind; however, I can certainly come to you!

About: Hi! My name is will and I am a huge animal lover. I have helped care for my family dog and cat for the past 10 years as well as volunteering at a shelter. I know all the in’s and out’s of pet sitting. I have handled large dogs and while I am no expert I would definitely trust someone like myself more worth one than like a 100 pound woman (no offense :) I have a car so transportation is not an issue. I am charismatic, flexible, and very passionate about loving animals! If you have any questions at all feel free to contact me. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! -Will I'll be working part time in Long Beach so looking to pick up some visits and walks on the side. Obviously we would coordinate it all ahead of time. I feel like I have a good understanding of a dog or cats needs with experience. Without speaking they can convey a lot of things subtlety (or loudly, depending on the animal). The goal is always to make sure they feel cared for and safe.
About: I’ve worked at the Brooklyn zoo and aquarium in Brooklyn as a teen. Then worked my way to volunteering at my local animal shelter. I’ve always had a love for animals. Now I foster dogs and cats till they find their forever homes. Even family and friends ask me to watch their pets on occasion. I’ve done dog walking and boarding for many years now as well and I would love to continue to provide for animals rain or shine. I currently work from home so the most I leave for are some social events here and there or groceries. I have transportation if pick up and drop off is needs as well. I have a gated yard around my apartment. There grass and all the other animals in the building run around and use the property. I provide at least three walks/potty breaks a day, take time to train and reward. I’ve giving medication and baths on request as well.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
