About: I have been a in-home pet sitter for the past six years for a medium size dog who had special needs as a puppy. I also am a pet photographer and have done pet portraits and holiday cards! I recently lost my beloved dog Zoey, who I had for over 12 years. I love dogs deeply, and welcome them into my home. I am available on a part time basis with more availability during the summer months. Weekends are ideal but I can be available after 5pm on weekdays or early morning. I live in a pet friendly apartment building, in a dog friendly neighborhood! My apartment is in the smaller side but dog and cat safe!

I am flexible and available most weekdays between 9AM-2PM and weekends between 10AM-7PM. My work experience in animal welfare in clinical and boarding facilities allows me to apply what I have learned into what I can do. As an overnight supervisor in a doggy daycare environment, pets are cared for by providing a safe and stimulating environment, ensuring their well-being, and offering socialization opportunities with other dogs. This includes activities such as playtime, walks, feeding, and monitoring their behavior whereas in a clinical setting, caring for pets involves monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, conducting medical procedures, and providing post-operative care. It also includes maintaining cleanliness, following strict protocols, and ensuring a comfortable environment for the animals. Although not as extensive in daycare or clinical facilities, in-home pet care allows for individualized attention where needed as needed without the external stressors of a constantly changing environment. In-home care involves the basics of pet welfare and includes providing food, water, exercise, and companionship. Additionally, administering medication, following specific care instructions, and maintaining a safe environment are crucial, all of which I can provide based on my background and experience.

About: I’ve worked at the Brooklyn zoo and aquarium in Brooklyn as a teen. Then worked my way to volunteering at my local animal shelter. I’ve always had a love for animals. Now I foster dogs and cats till they find their forever homes. Even family and friends ask me to watch their pets on occasion. I’ve done dog walking and boarding for many years now as well and I would love to continue to provide for animals rain or shine. I currently work from home so the most I leave for are some social events here and there or groceries. I have transportation if pick up and drop off is needs as well. I have a gated yard around my apartment. There grass and all the other animals in the building run around and use the property. I provide at least three walks/potty breaks a day, take time to train and reward. I’ve giving medication and baths on request as well.

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I’m attentive, dependable, and truly treat every pet as if they were my own. While I recently lost my own dog and am not ready to get another just yet, I deeply miss having dogs around and genuinely enjoy giving them calm, loving care. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their people are away. I only take a limited number of pets at a time so I can give each one my full attention. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and check-ins throughout the day. My kids are grown and on their own, and I don’t have pets at this time, so I’m able to give my attention to the pets I’m caring for and adjust my schedule as needed. I have a small, one-level home with a fenced-in backyard area, providing a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I’m mindful about supervision, keep doors and gates secure, and focus on creating a calm, low-stress setting where pets can feel at ease and well cared for.
