About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, pigs, fish, and the occasional duck or goose. I was responsible for a lot of their care before and after school, and I worked as a kennel technician for a couple of years. Currently I work on Duke’s campus with sick dogs in the pediatric department. I also just love animals! I’m good at attention to detail, cleaning up after pets, feeding/watering/medicating, and walking. I’m comfortable with any and all kinds of pets. I am a student, so I would be available for pet care before/at 12:30pm and after 4:30pm on week days, and available all day on weekends. I can also spend nights as needed. I am not able to keep pets in my dorm as it is against university policy but I would be more than happy to commute or spend nights for house/petsitting. I have done so before, and I do very well with this. I find it to be a fun experience
About: Ive taken care of and loved dogs since I was very young. I’ve fostered dogs and helped train them as well as taken good care of senior dogs. If you will have me take care of your dog expect lots of funny pictures of your furry friend. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog and am willing to stay overnight as well if needed. I will walk your dog and take them to the beach or on other fun adventures with me. I will make sure that they enjoy their time with me.

I’ll follow whatever routine you’ve got and use whatever leash or gear you prefer. If your pup needs to be crated at certain times, I’ve got no problem with that—and I’ll make sure they’re settled and relaxed. About: I have my own 8 year old Maltipoo. I have also watched my friends dogs when they would go out of town for vacation due to my flexible schedule. I work remote and I am working on my bachelors degree online so my schedule is rather flexible. Differs from semester to semester though so I will adjust once the spring semester starts. I typically go to the clients home since the dog is more comfortable in their own environment. That option has always worked out the best in the past.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
