“Sharon’s care is exceptional - our two cats were very well taken care of with frequent updates and no hiccups at all! I would absolutely recommend her to take care of anyone’s fur babies!”

About: Hi! I’m Halle. I’m a travel nurse and dog mom to my five year old husky/ lab mix, Yukon and his newly adopted brother a terrier mix, Odie. I’m on a new assignment in Morehead City. I work three days a week and looking to fill some of my spare time by making some new furry friends! I have experience volunteering at animal shelters and dog walking through and animal shelter called Pet Pals animal shelter in St. Petersburg FL. Through that experience I learned to handle many different breeds and temperaments of dogs. I have also gained a lot of knowledge in attending training classes for Yukon and now Odie. I am a travel nurse in the area until May. I work three days a week so I have a lot of free time for walking pups! I have two dogs of my own who love to get out and walk in the area and I myself love to get my steps in. This is a great way to explore the area! I am happy to offer frequent updates and photos/videos throughout your pup’s stay. I have two rescue pups who have required special attention as they navigated finding safety and security in their new home so I am sensitive to picking up on a dog's body language when they are feeling unsure about situations and I know how to de-esculate situations when they arise.
“Angela is just as her name describes...an angel! Our 2 pups absolutely loved her. She looked after them for a long holiday vacation and made sure they got tons of exercise, outside time, and cuddles. She even watered our Christmas tree and did some tidying before we got home. Communication was excellent. She allowed us great peace of mind while we were away and cannot recommend her enough!”

“Christina was great! Came over and spent time with our puppy and kept him active. Sent great photos and he was content and happy when we got home. Thank you!”

About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, pigs, fish, and the occasional duck or goose. I was responsible for a lot of their care before and after school, and I worked as a kennel technician for a couple of years. Currently I work on Duke’s campus with sick dogs in the pediatric department. I also just love animals! I’m good at attention to detail, cleaning up after pets, feeding/watering/medicating, and walking. I’m comfortable with any and all kinds of pets. I am a student, so I would be available for pet care before/at 12:30pm and after 4:30pm on week days, and available all day on weekends. I can also spend nights as needed. I am not able to keep pets in my dorm as it is against university policy but I would be more than happy to commute or spend nights for house/petsitting. I have done so before, and I do very well with this. I find it to be a fun experience
About: I grew up with animals (dogs and cats) my whole life. I have an 1 year old boxer mix who weights about 60 pounds and is full of energy. I’m experienced with walking high energy dogs who are easily distracted and reactive. I’m currently working full time as a registered nurse where I work three 12 hour shifts a week. This would be a perfect opportunity for my spare time to get outside, take your dog for a walk, have play dates, etc. I will ensure your dog is safe no matter what the activity. I understand the importance of wanting your pet in good hands while you are away!
“Kim was excellent! She dropped in on my dog twice a day for a week while I was out of town, once to walk him and once to feed him. Even though my dog can be a bit troublesome when it comes to meeting new people, he warmed up to Kim right away! She is kind, professional, and goes above + beyond. When my dog accidentally trapped himself in the laundry room and made a big mess in his panicked state, Kim immediately gave us an update and even cleaned up the mess. I highly recommend her services and will gladly use them again.”

About: I've had dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens on my small farm. Guinea pigs, hamsters, and snakes I've been surrounded by animals of all kinds. My experience includes caring, raising, training and giving medical care if needed. I also have a degree in animal science. I'm retired, so my schedule is very flexible. I can work weekends and holidays. I am very dependable. I send pictures and daily updates. I would love the opportunity to feed, play, and insure your pets are doing well. “Dee made going on vacation a little easier knowing my pups were well cared for. I have a motion web cam and reviewing the feed made me laugh. Dee spent time playing with each dog after they were fed. They seemed to have a good time. Hank seemed a little disappointed she didn't come by the first day we were back. Great sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs ever since I was 12. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to watch over their little ones and make sure they have the time of their life’s! I’m currently a stay at home mom that loves to take my little one on walks. I’d love to take your puppers along with us! I have a two year old labradoodle, and a one year old toddler that will keep your puppers tail waggin all day! Rather it be playing fetch, going on walks, or cuddles on the couch, your pup will be well loved and well taken care of!
“Robyn did an excellent job taking care of our boy. Very professional and updated us every day. We had 0 issues and I would consider that she went above and beyond for our friend. Highly recommend and we will be repeat clients. Thanks Robyn!!”

Atlantic Beach pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bailey is an absolute gem! From the moment we connected on Rover, she was responsive, professional, and incredibly kind. But what truly sets Bailey apart is how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. She took care of my pup like he was her own. Daily updates, adorable photos, and thoughtful messages that gave me complete peace of mind. My dog can be a little shy at first, but he warmed up to Bailey almost immediately (a rare thing!). By the end of the stay, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Bailey goes above and beyond. She’s punctual, trustworthy, and clearly experienced with dogs of all kinds. Whether it’s a quick walk or an overnight stay, she brings patience, energy, and a huge heart to every visit. I can’t recommend Bailey enough if you’re looking for someone who’s responsible, communicative, and absolutely adored by dogs, she’s the one. Thank you, Bailey, for being the best! 🐶💛
