About: I am a veterinary assistant. I'm working on getting a veterinary technician degree to expand my abilities to care for animals.I've been pet & house sitting for 5 years now with 1 repeat client. I take care of dogs ranging from Yorkshire terriers all the way up to mastiffs and Great Danes. I have three large dogs myself. I specialize in pets with medical and special needs, I am trained to administer injectable medication as well as pill form. My own pets and my current clients pets need medication daily. Panda has epilepsy and Lucy (client) has cushings. I can handle all size dogs and multiple pets. I can also provide grooming such as nail clipping and baths. I will treat your pets like they are my own.

“Stephanie was wonderful with our dog. She was dependable and prompt with all the visits and provided pictures and information with every visit. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend to care for any pets.”

About: We’ve been dog sitting for family and friends over the past 10 years. Enjoy walking, playing and relaxing with them. Great with puppies to senior dogs. We are big dog lovers, flexible with our schedule and can certainly work with your dog’s schedule. Being with your dog is our top priority. Our yard is fenced in and our home is dog friendly. We prefer them to be around us whether it’s out in the yard or in the kitchen washing the dishes. In your home, is per your instructions.

“Justin was great with our big, stubborn beast. He helped out with meds and coordinated with a friend who was also dropping in. Highly recommend!!”

About: My kids and I love to walk dogs. This is an opportunity for us to spread the love as we do not have a dog of our own. Hiring me = 1, 2 or all 3 of my kids helping. My schedule is fairly flexible so I will be able to meet your needs especially if given more notice. Summer and after school hours means more likely one of my kids will be available to give additional love to your pet. Will walk your dog wherever you prefer. Dog can also be taken to an enclosed area like a dog park so the dog can run around freely.

“Bailey was great with my kitty!! I was happy to know she was well cared for and getting plenty of attention from Bailey while I was traveling. Thanks Bailey!!”

About: I worked at a dog grooming salon from ages 15-17, where I gained hands-on experience in dog walking, feeding, blow-drying, and providing attentive care to pets. I currently attend college in Greenville. I have morning classes and free afternoons and nights. I go to Carteret County on weekends and can pet sit there for that time. In your home, I provide personalized care tailored to your pet's routine and needs. This includes feeding, walking, playtime, and administering medications if necessary. I ensure their environment remains clean, secure, and comfortable. I also offer companionship and attention to help alleviate any anxiety, providing a calm, loving presence while you're away. Whether it's daily check-ins or late-night walks, I maintain clear communication to ensure your pet receives the best care possible.

About: Given our dog is only 1.5 years old, I have recent experience with a puppy and am used to the high energetic demands of hers. I've also always had dogs growing up, some of which had disabilities with walking, so am capable of caring for senior pets or furry friends who just need a little extra help! I currently work full-time, but have flexible hours and the ability to telework two days a week. Therefore, I'm relatively available at any point during the day and can come in the mornings/evenings and even mid-day if need be. Having pets of my own, makes it pretty easy to fit into my routine as I'm already used to taking care of their needs. I want to always treat anyone's home as if it were my own and be respectful of their space. My mom always taught me to leave things cleaner than I found them so if you welcome me into your home I will always be thoughtful of any messes that might occur from any pets. Having pets myself, also makes me very compassionate to the stress that can come from leaving your pets while on vacation. Therefore, I assure to take the best possible care of your fur babies and send updates while you're away!

“Christina was great! Came over and spent time with our puppy and kept him active. Sent great photos and he was content and happy when we got home. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since 2005, I was once the go to pet sitter for multiple dogs, cats and even birds when I was working at the Neuse golf club in Clayton, nc. Was trusted to stay in the houses of each of the pets that I looked after. I now own my own dog and cat but would be happy to have another dog in our house for short term. I am currently free any day of the week, I got burned out from work and taking some time to figure out what I want to do for a career. Since I am not currently working, I am the main provider for feeding our cat and dog, walking our dog and just making sure they are happy

About: I’ve run my own pet sitting business since 2013. I take care of dogs of all shapes and sizes, cats, and small rodents. I have experience with administering medication, senior animals, disabled animals, and can handle a range of special needs. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I work with dogs of all temperaments. I have previously worked as a ranch hand at an alpaca farm and a horse stable. I am currently studying Zoology at university. I would love to care for your special pet! I am a university student with a flexible schedule. I can care for your pets between classes during day and evening hours, and weekends too. I cannot take pets into my home, but in yours I will provide the care that your pet needs. I will be respectful of your home and rules, and follow all instructions you provide. I can also perform other helpful tasks such as watering your plants and taking in your mail! I’d love to help with anything you need.

“Suzanne was wonderful with my 4 cats!! I was out of the country but was confident that they were in good hands. The daily report cards she sent were awesome! I believe she may also have a career in pet photography! Every picture sent was great!! Much better than my own pictures of my cats. I will definitely be using Suzanne again in the future, as all my cats now love her! She my #1 choice!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs ever since I was 12. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to watch over their little ones and make sure they have the time of their life’s! I’m currently a stay at home mom that loves to take my little one on walks. I’d love to take your puppers along with us! I have a two year old labradoodle, and a one year old toddler that will keep your puppers tail waggin all day! Rather it be playing fetch, going on walks, or cuddles on the couch, your pup will be well loved and well taken care of!

“DeAnna was great! Took care of my babies over Thanksgiving this year. Really helped with the logistics over the holiday.”

About: I have my own 8 year old Maltipoo. I have also watched my friends dogs when they would go out of town for vacation due to my flexible schedule. I work remote and I am working on my bachelors degree online so my schedule is rather flexible. Differs from semester to semester though so I will adjust once the spring semester starts. I typically go to the clients home since the dog is more comfortable in their own environment. That option has always worked out the best in the past.
