About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, pigs, fish, and the occasional duck or goose. I was responsible for a lot of their care before and after school, and I worked as a kennel technician for a couple of years. Currently I work on Duke’s campus with sick dogs in the pediatric department. I also just love animals! I’m good at attention to detail, cleaning up after pets, feeding/watering/medicating, and walking. I’m comfortable with any and all kinds of pets. I am a student, so I would be available for pet care before/at 12:30pm and after 4:30pm on week days, and available all day on weekends. I can also spend nights as needed. I am not able to keep pets in my dorm as it is against university policy but I would be more than happy to commute or spend nights for house/petsitting. I have done so before, and I do very well with this. I find it to be a fun experience

During the five days Rebekah cared for our girls, we received updates twice a day, always with great photos and videos. I work remote and I am working on my bachelors degree online so my schedule is rather flexible. Differs from semester to semester though so I will adjust once the spring semester starts. I have since left the field but want to stay in close contact with furry faces! If I do not have availability for the time you need I can refer Zoey Robinette who is also a reliable pet sitter and has sat my babies many times, please reach out to her right here on Rover should you need services I am currently working 9-5 Monday-Friday and have most availability on weekends if overnights are needed. Although I am flexible and do still offer overnight stays during the week depending on distance! I have a few hours in the morning to be able to accomplish any care the fur babies will need in the morning but afternoon drop offs do work the best during the week! About: Hi! I’m new to the area and would love to meet all the neighborhood animals! I recently moved here from Michigan to live with my husband here in the Slocum neighborhood in Havelock North Carolina. Back home I have two puppies, Millie and Ruby and here in North Carolina I have a puppy and kitty named pepper and maple. Back home I have been reliable to take care of my neighbors dog and cat to take care of them by feeding their dog and cat, taking their dog for walks, playing with their dog and cat and making sure their dog goes outside to go potty. I love being a parent to my puppy and kitty and it’s the best part of my day to come home to them 💕🐾🐶🐱 I’m unemployed and currently looking for a job but I’ll be able to take care of your animals during the day throughout the week and at night if needed. I have a fenced in backyard which is where I take out my puppy maple out to go potty. As mentioned before I have kitty named pepper as well. Maple is 6-7 months old and gets along well with other animals and is a very friendly and social dog. I take maple for walks and sometimes for runs often. We do have a pet scorpion as well but he stays in an enclosed glass cage away from the other animals. Pepper has her own room where she sleeps and has a litter box, a cat tree, and a food and water bowl. Both pepper and maple are allowed on the furniture and maple has a dog kennel and two dog beds but she sleeps in our room. And she also has a food and water bowl in the kitchen area. There are plenty of toys for the animals to play with but you are welcome to bring your own toys as well. I would also like to add that there will be no additional caretakers and it’ll just be me.

About: I have been caring for animals my entire life as a child, wildlife rehabilitator and as a wildlife biologist. For the last year and a half I have built a very nice reputation as a dependable and loving pet sitter. I have watched dogs, cats and birds! I have taken care of many senior dogs as well as a few puppies. Needless to say I’m not afraid of a pee pad or pill bottles! I work remotely and choose my hours, meaning, I can be with your animals at all time if need be. I do not mind staying with them 24/7 while you are away. It also means you can contact me any time that you need too. I live on a dead end road with very low traffic and have a very large yard. We will also go for nice walks down to the river where our road ends and a trail leads out to the river. My two main borders often do not want to leave or they want to come back home with me. It’s a great spot for dogs, whether they need to be leashed or not. If I am staying at your house I will always follow their normal routine. I really like for my clients to leave a note with food instructions, treat instructions, medicine, and daily routine. I also like to have a just incase number (neighbor or family member in the area) and the veterinarian. This is all just incase of an emergency and to make sure your pet stays safe and has the best time possible with me.
About: I love animals, especially dogs, more than words can express! We have always had small dogs in our family since I was born. I could never imagine living without a dog in my household. In fact I have always had my miniature schnauzers as my fur babies since my early 20’s. I also use my endless dog walks as another form of exercise especially with the awesome beach roads all over the island that we are fortunate to enjoy living on the island. Since I never had children I have extremely spoiled animals. Me and my husband are retired and I work a very part time job so have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. If your pet does not do well on long walks please mention that so we don’t wear them out too much! I would like to walk your dog on the beach or beach access if allowed. If you would rather we stay on the neighborhood streets that’s fine too! My house/pet sitting service will include feeding, playing, walking, cleaning up pet waste in yard or litter box and light housekeeping such as vacuuming up pet fur if applicable. I have a very flexible schedule. I do work a few days a week part time but only 4-5 hr shifts at a time. I would love to be your pet’s next best friend! I am an extremely anal retentive pet owner and home owner. I probably take better care of my pets than my own self! We do not miss any yearly vet appointments and are very attentive to any ailments that may come along. I always say the worst part of being a pet owner is when they have to cross the rainbow bridge.

About: I’ve cared to dogs since I was 12, beginning with family pets and expanding to neighbors and friends. I helped raise a littler of ten black lab puppies, ensuring they received proper nutrition and constant affection. I’ve cared for many breeds in a variety of settings, including watching and managing up to 5 black labs at once, taking them on structured walks, playing with there favorite toys and keeping their routines calm and consistent. My experience cover feeding schedules, baths, crate safety and off leash play. I am currently a student at coastal Carolina community college as a dental assisting student. Mondays and Thursday I get out of class at 11:40 and 12:50. Tuesdays I arrive at school @11 and leave @3:40, Wednesdays 8-2:40 and Fridays 10-2:40. On weekends I’m available and times after school. I have a back yard, not fenced in. Pets in my home are not treated bad, not screamed at or hit to be punished. They are always treated like my own, with cuddles, little snacks if allowed and plenty of play time. They would go on walks and be seen by other individuals for petting if the owner is comfortable.
About: -Personally, I have been caring for pets for 18 years. Pit mixes, reptiles, and felines. The first words most people would use to describe me would be "animal lover"! -Professionally, I have veterinary and animal handling experience. I worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician Assistant between college and graduate school, which gave me experience with administering medication, pet safety,checking vital signs, soothing anxious pets, basic grooming, etc. I also spent two years in grad school walking dogs,boarding, and doing check-ins with "Wag!" which I thoroughly enjoyed! Professionally, I am a biologist and have a working knowledge of animal physiology -I have personally mothered and treated a Heartworm Positive dog, so I am well-versed in caring for a pup currently undergoing that! With my current seasonal position coming to an end, I expect to have a wide open schedule for the next few months. I am a pretty early riser, but can be flexible It is priority to make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible while missing you! I choose to not use a crate with my dog, but can with yours if you prefer that. I'm very active and like to ensure that animals get as much activity and enrichment as they like. I am very big on sending lots of photos and video updates on your pet throughout the day!

About: I’ve taken care of multiple animals throughout my life, such as dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, ducks, and chickens. I’m very reliable and will make sure to follow directions on how you want your animal taken care of. I am currently a student and have a part time job, but I also have a lot of free time on my hands making this type of job perfect for me. I live in an apartment complex close to UCF and have one cat. I have taken care of multiple dogs as I have 4 back home (they do not live with me currently they are at my residence with my family)

About: I am a USMC vet and I’ve been around pets basically all my life and found a passion for it. I have over 4 years with working with pets in a professional field. I currently have open availability during the week and weekend. I’m available any time during the day and any last minute requests for all pets.
