About: I’ve had a dog ever since I can remember but just can’t commit at this time to my own and I would love to care for yours to scratch my itch! I work per diem and am in school virtually so am home for random hours throughout the day, every day. Kids have sports, but all at locations we can bring pups! I live in a neighborhood with plenty of yard for pups to enjoy and kids that can’t wait to cuddle and care for pups like family!

“Candice is absolutely wonderful! I am so grateful she was able to care for my two cats while I was out of town. Highly recommended.”

“Alysha was amazing during her first visit today. My pup had anxiety about people she doesn’t know well when I am not present. Alysha went in without any hesitation and found ways to get our pup to engage with her. We will definitely be using Alysha on the regular! We wanted to find someone who was just like another family member and our dog could get comfortable with. I think we may have found it! Thank you Alysha!”

About: I grew up with Golden Retrievers, I always knew I had a passion for dogs and animals alike. In my adult life I have owned 4 different breeds, I consider myself highly experienced with senior dogs as well as puppies; currently having my own 15 year old dog whom is thriving. I have 4.5 years of experience in the boarding industry where I furthered my passion and knowledge of breeds, dog body language, training and also have grooming experience. I completed the introduction to training course by the Karen Pryor Academy. I have worked with dogs in post op condition and am comfortable administering medications. I am also currently pursuing my AS in animal science to become a Veterinary Technician. I currently have availability Monday-Wednesday but this is subject to change. I would love to form a relationship with your pet and add them in for more time! Depending on your home I will do as you ask, if you have a fenced in yard great! If not leash walks can be so beneficial for your pet and equally as enriching and beneficial as an off leash walk.

About: I grew up with a Yellow Lab named Jake and a cat named Garfield. I adopted two cats of my own about 8 years ago, one named Chevy Chase and the other is a deaf cat named Buster. I have taken care of family and friends pets whether it be housesitting and staying with them or just checking in daily. I work 8-4 Monday-Friday so I am available to pet sit in a home that is not too far from work and on the weekends. I understand that your pet and your home are very important and I am a reliable, trustworthy person who will leave your home spotless and your pet well taken care of.

“Michelle is simply just lovely. Prompt (early actually). Caring. Very sweet w our pets and attentive to our endless direction with our special needs dog as well as our cats. All of our animals are rescues from abusive situations so we are protective. She got that immediately without having to say a word.”

About: Hello! I've been an animal lover my entire life. My dog, Zeke and I had a companion kind of relationship, built on mutual respect and happiness; it's something I wouldn't have traded for the world. He sadly passed away in October after 12 years together, so it would be an understatement to say I'm more than happy to pour extra love to your pup. ___________________________________________________________________________ This is a new offering as of August 2024. I have discovered that adventures are my ideal experiences and would like to advertise as such! Mountain hikes, kayak paddles (>15 pounds), and bike cart rides for the senior pups are my favorites, but I am open to other ideas/training requests! Paddleboarding, swimming lessons...the possibilities are endless. One hour minimum is preferred; gas and travel time to the adventure site are included. I have many mountains, lakes and trails on my list, so I do not see it as fair to charge you for that time! You will only be charged for adventure time. Depending on your pup(s) comfortability in the car, we may travel up to 45 minutes. You and I will decide together on location details, and this app will track where your pup(s) and I are at all times. Wilderness First Aid trained, canine safety versed, ample water provided, and pups will always be kept safely on the leash. Your pup will return home satisfied and tired! ____________________________________________________________________________ For a NORMAL NEIGHBORHOOD WALK, please book a drop-in visit and message to remind me that you would like a walk. Availability for walks and drop-ins will change after Labor Day. Unavailable most weekdays 12-3:30 I am a caretaker by nature, and have been a teacher for the past 4years, a live in nanny before that and most recently a grade school teacher. I'm going back to school to get my licensure. Honestly, care taking and fresh air gives me clarity of mind, and the chance to peel away from the screen helps process all the new information! I am trying to practice running again too, if your canine would like to train with me. Familiar with many local trails and parks. All weather is good weather! Experience with dogs with seizures and giving various medications. Feline friend as well. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends ! I am working at a school 12-3:30, and going to school online. I recently moved my senior dog up here, but I am missing all the adventures we used to go on! Caring for your pets gives me the chance to go where he can't. I do not offer boarding. When I am in your home, I try to leave it better than I found it. I have spent a fair amount of time farming and gardening, so plants will be well cared for if asked.

About: I've been taking care of all my friends' pets for the last 2 years since I moved to the Hudson Valley! I'm usually their first call when they're in need of a pet sitter and they're gone on vacation. I love dogs (especially lap dogs!) and am allergic to cats (except russian blues or hypoallergenic breeds). Because I'm freelance, I have a super flexible schedule! I'm responsible, attentive, respectful, and communicative! I give the so much love, and play time. I love taking long walks around the neighborhood, or on a short trail. But, I'm also equally excited to cuddle up next to a lap dog cutie! Can't wait to play your fur babes! PS: I've cried at the sight of a beautiful dog bc I just love em' so much! <3 I'm quite open during the week because I am a freelance social media manager & creative consultant. So, I can fit walks into my schedule no bigggie! And, if you need someone to house-sit, I just need wifi and my laptop. ◡̈ We'll be all set! I'm responsible, attentive, respectful, and communicative! I give them so much love, and play time. I love taking long walks around the neighborhood, or on a short trail. But, I'm also equally excited to cuddle up next to a lap dog cutie! Just let me know if they're more of a couch potato or a walker, and I can prepare for both! <3

About: Lifelong owner of dogs, I enjoy walking playing, and exercising dogs. I am a current owner of a sweet, young, and energetic German Shepherd, who is very well behaved. I am a recent early retiree and looking for something fun to do during the weekdays, I am very responsible and would love to work with your dog. I have a fenced in backyard, our dog has a GPS tracker, she’s microchipped, and is up to date on all vaccinations. I would expect the dog that would need to be taken care of to be up to date on all vaccinations, as well.

“i made a mistake and forgot to leave the key to my house - Taylor problem solved and did all she could to figure it out with me - she also picked up treats for manuel 10/10”

“I would totally recommend Thomas to be responsible with your pet and your home when you are gone for an extended period and need someone to check in and let your dog out.I knew Thomas from seeing him in town with his Ibizan hound along with other dogs in his care. He was great at handling the dogs on a busy street and always chatting with people who stop to ask about his unusual dog. Thomas followed the many instructions about food and medication I left everywhere and sent videos and photos of a happy dog. My dog did not seem particularly excited when I came home which means he was well exercised and not anxious that I had been gone.”

About: I adore animals. I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. When I did not have a pet of my own I always have asked friends and family to take care of their pets when in need. People have always relied on me with their animals as they know I show love and I am very attentive. I have mostly trained my young puppy who has a lot of energy, with the help of a few wonderful sitters. I understand behavioral training, being kind but firm. Teaching with kindness and showing the animals the way rather than teaching in fear. I give a lot of attention and am able to read their body language well. I work freelance so I am available intermittently. But when I am available for sitting I am present to give the animal full time care, so if you have an animal who has separation anxiety and doesn't I take the dogs out first thing in the morning for an hour sometimes even 2 hour run in the park. a few small walks in the day and another longer walk or run in the afternoon. I also love to take the dogs on hikes. I do not have a crate as I did not do crate training with my dog but if you want to provide one I am happy to. My apartment is puppy/dog proof. I have a big yard although it is not fenced on one side so I always watch the dogs when I am out there. I have a nice big dog park near my place. I am currently working freelance, as previously mentioned. Reach out to me and I will tell you when/if I am available. I really enjoy animals company and I work in the city so this is something I like to do when I am home in Hudson and not working. I do allow my dog on the bed and couch in my own home, but I do encourage him to sit on his own bed. I can follow any rules that you wish that aligns with you and your pets needs.
