I grew up with a magical Golden Retriever named Chessie and a spunky wire-haired Dachshund named Emma. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on making their time away from their owner as stress-free as possible. I spend quality time with them, whether that means going for walks, playing with their favorite toys, giving them affection, or simply keeping them company. I’m respectful of each home and make sure everything is left clean and secure. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality and preferences so I can adjust my care to what makes them happiest and most comfortable.
About: Hi! My name is Andrea. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for almost 4 years now, and have been working in the area off and on since 2014. I live with my partner, Mike, and precious pups Kona and Desi. I have always lived with dogs. I am an Occupational Therapist in a school district full time and love to farm and bicycle during my off time. I’ve done house sitting and dog sitting previously and enjoyed the work. I have my own vehicle and am used to commuting around the Hudson Valley for work and for fun. I wanted to get back into dog sitting and pet sitting to assist in getting a new car and to get to spend time with pets! I have always been obsessed with dogs! I show that through meeting as many as I can when out in the community :). I am active person, so long walks and playing is something I can provide. I am open to any requests you might have and am great at keeping in touch with pet parents. I can always be available through text, call, or email. I’m so excited to meet you and your lovely pets!! I have a full time job, so weekends are my only availability. However, I am open to discuss any special circumstances! I might potentially be more available on a long weekend, when I am off from my school based job. I would want to care for your pets as you would or how you would want. I am great with a schedule and specific requests.

“I found Jane on Rover last minute we were lucky she had space to take Kali for the weekend. First time for us to leave our dog with anyone so we were a bit nervous.
