About: I love pets! I have a dog and a cat (Audrey and Tricky) who are super nice and friendly. Our apartment is safe to receive a cat or a dog and make sure he/she is safe. Nowadays I am working from home, so I have plenty of time to share and take really good care of your pet. I will send you a lot of photos and videos if you want me to, so you can be sure he/she is safe and happy. Looking forward to meet you! . . . . . . . . . I work from home so your pet will never be alone. I’ll make sure he drinks enough water and eats his food, and have the litter always clean for cats, and regular walks for dogs. The cat will never leave the apartment we have our own cat and we are really careful about it. My pets are super friendly with visitors and will play with yours.

“This was our first time using Xionella for our two small pups. She was very accomodating in letting us do a home visit prior to the time she was going to take care of them. She was great at keeping us updated with pictures and very communicative.”

“Lyndsey is hands down the best pet sitter I have ever experienced. She’s a true pet lover; and she really cares about the comfort of ur pets!! Please don’t make the mistake of not choosing her as ur sitter you won’t regret it!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jonathan was truly amazing with my dog while I was away! He was kind, communicative, and incredibly caring throughout the entire stay. My dog tends to have a hard time when I’m out of town, but Jonathan handled everything with so much patience and compassion. He kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which really helped ease my mind. I could tell my pup was in great hands. I’m so grateful we found him — highly recommend Jonathan to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable sitter!”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, having cared for four dogs of my own — including a large, lovable Newfoundland and Corgi — as well as many family cats. Every summer, I house- and pet-sit for friends and neighbors, looking after dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I truly love both cats and dogs, and I treat every pet like they’re my own, whether that means long walks, gentle grooming, or just being there for plenty of snuggles. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I am a full-time student at the University of Georgia, but I have free days on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I would love to spend my free time helping out with pet sitting for local families and people in need. I miss my pets at home and would love to connect with family pets here at school. I have plenty of outdoor walking trails near my house, and I live in a home with other pet-loving roommates who are open to sharing the space with new pets. I love to be outside and take the dogs to dog parks.

About: With over 10 years of dog care experience, I provide loving, reliable care in both my home and clients' homes. I currently have two friendly medium/large-sized dogs and a large fenced-in backyard, perfect for safe play and exercise. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments, and I’m comfortable administering medications as needed. Working from home Monday through Friday allows me to give your dog plenty of attention, comfort, and companionship throughout the day. I work from home Monday through Friday which means I’m always nearby to give your dog plenty of attention, care, and comfort throughout the day. I currently have two friendly large-sized dogs and a large, fenced-in backyard perfect for playtime. We have a doggy door which allows my pups to go in and out as needed. My dogs are up to date on their vaccines and take a monthly flea/ tick prevention. Both dogs are spayed/neutered.

“Christina had my Eva (Italian greyhound) for a week and did great. Daily updates were a plus. She handled Eva's wild anxiety like a champ. I know my dog, she can be a bit much. Christina was unphased though and powered through it. Really glad I met her on here. Hopefully she'll watch Eva again if she's available.”

“Angela has kept our 2 dogs (1 of whom is a senior who requires daily meds) many times over the past 2 years and it’s been a wonderful experience for us and for our pets every time! We get regular updates and pictures of our guys throughout their stay and they always return home calm and happy. Highly recommended!”

About: As I get older it has become clear to me that my purpose in life might just be to serve animals. My friends tease me that I am the patron saint of the four-legged. And I'm proud to wear that nickname. I have dogs and cats whom I adore and their safety and well-being and happiness is my main focus in life. Both dogs came to me as abandoned puppies. My cats all appeared on my back porch very feral very scared very hungry and I spent a lot of energy loving them up. All my love and attention towards my animals has come back to me a 1000%. My day to day schedule is my own I am wide open as far as availability goes. I am willing to consider any special needs you might have. Please ask. I can have other dogs in my home. But since I do have two dogs of my own I guess it would need to be determined that they could all get along. My dogs are very friendly. I am more than willing to spend the night in a client's home for the comfort of the dog. But since I do have animals of my own I would not be able to stay in your home 24/7. I would need the flexibility to return home to take care of my own animals. But I am most definitely available to sleep over and return several times during the next day to walk your dog and feed and play with him or her. Also I can tend to any cats in your home. Whatever your needs are, please ask.

“Shannon was a fantastic host for Chessie! She and her family are definitely dog lovers and I know Chessie got lots of TLC during her stay. Shannon has a large fenced yard and 2 sweet pups to provide a perfect vacation for any dog. I highly recommend Shannon and Rodney and will definitely book with them again!”

“Kendall + Darbie are great! We set up a meet and greet for Phineas and as soon I got there I knew they would be a great fit for him. Throughout his stay they were consistent with spending updates and photos of Phineas. I trusted them completely and would 100% recommend them as your dogs babysitter!”

About: Over the years, I have had 10 regular canine clients, 4 cats, two birds and countless one-time and occasional ones. I have lived in Athens thirty-three years and currently serve on the executive board of the ARK and on an advisory board for Georgia United Credit Union. I was a (human) CPR/First Aid (American Red Cross and National Safety Council) instructor for 21 years and I have taken dog and cat first aid courses. Pet care, to me, means helping the owner have no worries while they are away. It means giving the best pet care possible. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs especially ones with arthritis and hip dysplasia. I have experience with dogs with fear aggression. I will always make sure your mail and packages are secured and make sure your trash can is rolled out / put back. I care for your home and pets the way I want mine cared for. For the time being I can only accept short term (up to two weeks) jobs— dog walking and drop-in visits. I have a maximum number of full time jobs currently. I am punctual by nature and a good person to ask on short notice. Available Mon-Fri and many weekends. Generally, I do not charge for cancellations. Life happens. So unless you live several miles away and I am already en route, it’s not a problem for me. My availability calendar is always accurate well into the future. My yard is not currently fenced, so I will always be with your dog when we are outside (there is a leash law in Clarke county). I get to know them so I can learn their nuances and personalities. I am affectionate with animals taking into consideration their comfort level. My wife is usually around to give extra affection.

About: I have been around animals since I was born. Growing up I took care of my own dogs and cats. I have taken care of friends and families dogs and cats all growing up too. On weekends I am available all day to take care of animals and during the week I’m free most of the days to give animals potty breaks and love. In my house I let the dog cuddle on the bed or couch if they want to and they have their own bed to lay in. In a clients home I follow any directions they have.
