About: I took care of my neighbors four cats when I was a teenager, and I have owned several dogs and one cat over the course of my life. One of my dogs had canine cognitive decline (dementia), so I am familiar with that and all of the attached issues. I currently work two days a week in downtown Columbus, but that means that I am available some Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Otherwise, my schedule is flexible since my other work is self-guided. I like to make sure that pets are comfortable and that my presence is not an imposition on them. This means that I am on the lookout for signs that they need to go outside or that it is meal time. I give them as much attention as they want and then let them do their thing.

FYI, Rover takes 20% off the top of my rates for their services, this does not factor in income taxes yet. I’ve tried to be reasonable in my pricing. Taking care of your pet, requires my full time and attention. I am available daily from 9-8 PM for walks/drop ins and overnight stays most days of the week. I am willing to arrange a weekly set schedule to care for your pet for your convenience. Your pet deserves my undivided attention. I will not house sit more than your dog at a time. I will be sure to respect your home; leave it in the order I found it while caring for your animal.

About: I have been caring for other people’s pets since I was 16 and my own from an even younger age. I started pet sitting occasionally at 16 and love doing it. Aside from my pet sitting experience I have a lot of animal care experience in professional settings including working on a couple of farms, boarding kennels and a veterinary clinic. I also gained experience caring for class pets at my career center in high school which I went to for my junior and senior years. I have loved animals my whole life and they have always been my passion. I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time to hangout and play with your furry friends on days I’m not working and am available to spend nights with them on days that I do work. I love all animals. I am young and able to exercise and play with them as much as they want or need. I do not crate animals unless absolutely necessary and devote all of my time to them when I’m with them to make sure they’re happy.

About: I have prior experience walking dogs and I have had cats in my home for the majority of my life. I have also volunteered at animal shelters to help take care of the cats and dogs there. Pet care fits into my weekly routine well since I now have much more time available to dedicate to it. I am available most days of the week with normal hours (9 AM - 5 PM just as a ballpark) unless something comes up. I will care for the pets in their owner's home or in mine the same way they would if not better. If there is something specific that the pet needs, I will take care of it.

I’m attentive to details, double check doors and gates, use secure leash handling, and prioritize calm, controlled walks. Through my volunteer work in service dog training and in shelter environments, I have experience working with groups of dogs in structured and higher stimulation settings. This has taught me how to read body language, manage energy levels, prevent conflict before it escalates, and handle situations calmly and confidently if tension arises. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. My goal is always to create a safe, stable environment where your pet feels secure, understood, and well cared for in their own home.
