About: I have prior experience walking dogs and I have had cats in my home for the majority of my life. I have also volunteered at animal shelters to help take care of the cats and dogs there. Pet care fits into my weekly routine well since I now have much more time available to dedicate to it. I am available most days of the week with normal hours (9 AM - 5 PM just as a ballpark) unless something comes up. I will care for the pets in their owner's home or in mine the same way they would if not better. If there is something specific that the pet needs, I will take care of it.
“Oh my gosh I can't say enough about how kind and attentive David was with our animals! He sent many pictures and barely left their orbit for 3 days! He asked tons of questions and took notes and we felt so secure leaving them in his care. To be honest, I am not sure our pets were that excited to see us come home! Would definitely recommend!”

About: I took care of my neighbors four cats when I was a teenager, and I have owned several dogs and one cat over the course of my life. One of my dogs had canine cognitive decline (dementia), so I am familiar with that and all of the attached issues. I currently work two days a week in downtown Columbus, but that means that I am available some Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Otherwise, my schedule is flexible since my other work is self-guided. I like to make sure that pets are comfortable and that my presence is not an imposition on them. This means that I am on the lookout for signs that they need to go outside or that it is meal time. I give them as much attention as they want and then let them do their thing.
“I am so grateful to Sarah for caring for my pack on the second 3 day block that I had been unable to locate a sitter. I wholeheartedly appreciated that she let me know of messes the middle sitter left and was willing to clean it all up! <3. One less thing I had to worry about upon return.”

About: My mom ran a in home animal rescue since I was a kid, which included around 12-15 dogs at all times. These dogs ranged from chihuahuas, to pit bulls and Great Danes. I was able to walk and control three Great Danes at a time. I helped feed, bath, and walk them. I currently own a 6 month old cane corso and a 2 year old Chinese crested. I have experience with puppies, big dogs, and small dogs. I’m a full time college student at OSU and work two part time jobs to support myself. I work my jobs around one another so I have a lot of flexibility. I also get to choose my work schedule. I have a fenced in yard and I never leave my own dogs outside unattended, so I wouldn’t leave anyone else’s babies outside unattended either. My two dogs are very dog friendly. I regularly take them to dog parks and I take my cane corso next door to play with my neighbors pit bull. Kane (70 pounds) and Diablo (7 pounds) live together peacefully but I never leave them alone together due to the size difference. Both of my dogs have their own crate. Your pet will be treated as my own when they’re in my care.
“Kailyn was great when she dog-sat our two fur babies on a somewhat last-minute notice. We appreciated how easily our dogs took to her and how she sent us so many picture updates!”

“Carrie was an amazing house and pet sitter. She took excellent care of our Basset Fiona sending videos and pictures. Also, our air conditioning went out during a heat wave while Carrie was sitting. She was super helpful in letting in the technicians to do the repairs needed and sending pictures of the progress. I highly recommend Carrie!!”

About: I have been caring for other people’s pets since I was 16 and my own from an even younger age. I started pet sitting occasionally at 16 and love doing it. Aside from my pet sitting experience I have a lot of animal care experience in professional settings including working on a couple of farms, boarding kennels and a veterinary clinic. I also gained experience caring for class pets at my career center in high school which I went to for my junior and senior years. I have loved animals my whole life and they have always been my passion. I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time to hangout and play with your furry friends on days I’m not working and am available to spend nights with them on days that I do work. I love all animals. I am young and able to exercise and play with them as much as they want or need. I do not crate animals unless absolutely necessary and devote all of my time to them when I’m with them to make sure they’re happy.
“Corrinn did a great job! She provided updates often and seemed to really bond with my kitties. I have 4 senior cats that have special needs and I felt very at ease with them in her care. They are very routine orientated and Corrinn didn’t miss a beat with the feeding and medicine schedules. I would definitely rebook and recommend her.”

“Veronica was great! She took excellent care of our furry children and our home! She was prompt, responsive and sent pictures of our kiddos when we were missing them! I would definitely recommend her!”

“Maggie went above and beyond! This was our first time using Rover, and I’ll admit I was hesitant. We have a diabetic, blind dog and another who gets incredibly down whenever we go away. But Maggie was amazing from start to finish. She sent us photos and updates that showed both dogs were not only doing well, but genuinely enjoying themselves. She even got Fiona, our shy girl, out of her room for walks and playtime outside! On top of all that, the house was tidied up when we got back, which was such a thoughtful surprise. We’ll absolutely be using Maggie again in the future!”

About: I've owned & been around cats & dogs all of my life. I am very patient & loving. I have done house-sitting for pet care numerous times for family & friends over the years, before having the technology to make it easier to keep track. I adore all animals. Each one has something unique about them. I can't wait to meet yours and get to know them! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity! I work a small set schedule. I am available almost all day, every day. I work from my car a lot also, so I'm quite mobile. Animals RULE my house. I currently have 3 black cats. They are beyond spoiled every minute of every day! I am totally obsessed & in love!!!
“Stacie was wonderful taking care of our dog while we were on vacation! She left our house clean, and tidy and gave us updates on him everyday. Definitely would recommend Stacie and can’t wait to have her watch our boy again! Thank you Stacie!!”

“Brittany was well loved by our pups and Brittany loved our pups while we were gone. We were especially grateful when our dogs injury re-emerged while we were gone she picked up medicine and administered it until we returned home.”

About: I don't remember a time in my life when I wasn't surrounded with pets and animals. I grew up with three cats and a dog, had a few gerbals and hermit crabs, helped raise pythons, and get to enjoy dog kisses and and snuggles whenever I want from relative's pets. My grandparents live on a farm and love to help any of creatures us grandkids find. Animals are my passion! As a young entrepreneur trying to take my life and schedule into my own hands, Rover is the perfect way for pet owners to get thorough, compassionate care for their loved fur babies as well as help me attain more clients and doggo kisses for my already established pet sitting services. Looking forward to meeting and working with you!
About: I’ve had a dog in my household my whole life, I’ve helped potty train 3 of my dogs and have helped them learn better walking manners. I have been dog sitting since I was 13 years old for my neighbors and friends. I love all breeds of dogs, and have taken care of 8 week old puppies all the way to senior dogs. As a college student, I have a structured but flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my days around pet visits, walks, feeding times, and play sessions. I’m very organized with my time and make pet care a true priority, not something rushed in between obligations. I’m able to give pets consistent attention, follow routines closely, and provide reliable care throughout the week. Whether your pet needs quick drop-ins, longer visits, or regular walks, I make sure each visit is calm, unhurried, and focused on your pet’s comfort and well-being. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always follow any specific instructions given by pet parents, from feeding routines and medication schedules to preferred walking routes. In a client’s home, I respect the space and maintain a calm, familiar environment to reduce stress for your pet. I keep doors locked, double-check leashes and collars, and never leave pets unattended outside.
